I remember in Siddhant, we were doing an episode relat- ed to massage parlours. Gen- erally, these parlours are also known as prostitution joints. My character Siddhanth was sup- posed to bust that racket. There was this scene where he had to go in for a massage. I refused because I was too embarrassed to do that scene. But the director did not support me .And I was forced to do that scene eventually. So there I was, wrapped in towel with an experienced lady masseuse beside me. What was most embarrassing was that her hands were going all over me even during the close-up shots. I kept telling her enough since it's a close up. But she just didn't seem to understand. And to top it all, this was being shot in front of a unit of around seventy people. I was very uncomfortable and con- veyed this to the director. Final- ly, he felt sorry for me and stepped in. He asked the lady to take it easy, saying its just a shoot. I remember another incident. This was during my days of ini- tial struggle. I had got a call for an ad film and reached the set very excitedly. On reaching there, I was tak- en aback when I realised that I wasn't the lead model. I voiced my concern and thankfully, they agreed to let me leave. But it was very embarrassing for me to walk out that way. I cannot forget that day even now.
