Im quite surprised at Jigs today. I mean I personally believe that a widow should not be subjected to wear white for the rest of her life, as it is torture enough that her husband has passed away. I have to say that Masi did try to stop Jigs today- and Jigs stopped her in the middle stating that this was a matter between MIL and DIL. On top of that we all know that Adi really can not say anything in front of Jigs.
Finally it was left to our LION KING to retrieve the situation and show Jigs the mirror. Somewhat disappointed that he did it rather politely and not give her an outright firing – raging bull style- like Meg suggested in her post yesterday. Seems that the Tigress of Unchagaon has defanged our LION KING permanently. Or maybe I am just being unfair- a pooja is not the occasion to be blasting someone. And to be fair he did call Jigs "gawar", which can hardly be pleasing to a so-called society lady.
Calling Jigs a 'Gawar' was more than justified. I do think its interesting that he said that he thought she was more broadminded than that. Since when was she broadminded? The whole family knows exactly what her nature is like, especially Jai, and they all know how narrowminded she is. Where did this broadmindedness come into play?
In terms of JW being rather polite- the way I see it, it was for two reasons. First, RK was a double today so the impact will be nowhere what it should have been. Secondly there was a pooja so I am sure that he didn't want to be disrespectful to those who had come to mourn.
The leaking tap of WM, Mrs. Rashi Baali is the latest brand ambassador of De Beers, poor Cecil Rhodes must be turning in his grave. But full marks to Ranveer, he is following on his pujya mamaji's footsteps. And if I remember correct he was in black.
Could that have been a more blatant advertisement?! The next thing we know there will be Pepsi cans lining the WM.
Then to our beloved duo. First the bad news, Krishna leaving Bani in her dreams, does this mean that a sordid babyswitching saga is going to be imposed on us? Nor did Bani's thoughts on seeing Pia in the hospital give me any comfort. She did the right thing by offering money for her treatment, she is a tycoon and ought to be paying for the treatment of a less fortunate sister but " woh mere dil ke kareeb hai" and "meri behen hai" sadly seems to suggest a reversion to her Amma avatar. She has of course the right to forgive her sister for what she has done to her but should she forgive her for what she has done to her hubby?
I think Krishna left when Bani mentioned her father, and since they still are not together in the true sense, that might have made her sad, indicating that the only way Krishna will truly be happy is if both mother and father are both together. As for the baby switching track, although a very probably track, I am hoping against it as this track has been played out by so many soap operas over the years!
As for Bani paying for Pia's treatment, at least she offered to pay it anonymously. Helping Repto's Charitable Foundation would be bad in any way, and Repto would just use that against her if she knew that it was Bani who offered to help. The question raised in my mind, and many others minds, is what is wrong with Repto this time?!? We know she has mental bimari's left and right, but what is it now? Bani is the type who wouldn't want the child in question to suffer for Repto's misdeeds, so in that respect I give her a lot of credit.
Now for the good part. In the temple, she had accepted that the baby is both hers and JW's but today she spent a step further calling Krishna "hamare pyar ki nishani" although she did blush after that. Party time, folks. Btw, are JW and Bani sleeping in the same room?
I love how JW used this same line against her and reiterated it, proving that he still loves her as well. All they need to do is to continue like this, as they did in the Mandir, and yesterday and show each other how much they mean to one another, and we are on the right track! I like how she was surprised at herself for saying it, and his reaction was classic- very surprised as well. I like how they are rediscovering one another.
I don't think they are in the same room, btw. JW told her to go to her room and sleep properly and that he himself was going. He didn't mention their room, but her room.
Rano is the latest one to do the vanishing act. But don't worry I am sure LION KING will bring her back to WM and give Jigs the blasting that Meg was praying for.
He'll do anything for his lady love!
