The Role that Tarun will Play - Thoughts

Some time back I has read an article where Pawan Shankar had mentioned that his role as described by Ekta was going to be like Bajaj from Kasauti. So I did some research and found that Bajaj did some stuff (don't watch the show so don't know exactly what) to create misunderstandings betwwen the lead pair and the lady started depending on Bajaj for emotional support and finally ended up marrying bajaj the second time for love.

With the way the current track has been laid out I feel to a certain extent Tarun has a big hand in creating some of the situations and he will place himself in the position of friend and support.

Now what remains to be seen is if JB chemistry can withstand this angle. Not sure if the original Kasauti pair was as strong as JB. Personally I don't see PS having that much chemistry with PD but ekta is known to repeat stories. Using this angle she can drag the story forever.

Any thoughts?

I used to watch it at that time, bajaj drugged prerna and took pictures with her to create misunderstandings b/w anu and prerna, used business, arghhhhh no i don't remember all but i remember that he drugged prerna to take some pictures.

i can't believe this, in KZK anu was always the one crying and whatever not, they betta not make my baby that way, warna..😡

Have never watched Kasauti so not sure what happened there. But in one of the early article that Pawan gave about his entry he said that Ekta had narrated his role in the lines of Mr Bajaj. Now seeing the last few epi I feel that he is behind some of the stuff going on as he has developed feelings for Bani and wants her for himself. Was this Anu characted as strong as Jai Walia. Maybe that's why RK is not happy with his track.

Nahi yaar, Anurag was nothing like Jai, he was rich and whatever not but he wasn't like my baby, he didn't have that fierce lion attitude, i think anu was like the chocolate boy type you know always doing nice things thinking about others first, devdas type too.

Bajaj was a strong character though, hehe i like ronit roy may be that's why, but still If anyone comes close to my baby from KZK it'd be bajaj.

I hope tarun gets the role of vineet or someone from KZK then i wouldn't mind at all.

He came for just six episodes on Ekta Kapoor's new show Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasmaan on Star Plus. But his character, the rebellious angry young man Sanjay Apte, made an impact. Though his character has now been bumped off as per the plot, the shy Pawan Shankar caught producer Ekta Kapoor's attention. She has cast him as the new entrant in Kasamh Se.
"I play this suave, US-returned NRI called Tarun Sablok. Ekta's brief about the character to me was that he's someone jo soch-soch ke chalta hai. She says my character is like that of Mr Bajaj in Kasautii Zindagii Kay." Pawan goes on to reveal, "Ekta has been constantly offering me roles in her serials. She also offered me Sujal, the role that made Rajiv Khandelwal an overnight star. It was so nice of Rajiv and Aamna Sharif to tell me I'd have taken their show (Kahiin To Hoga) to a different level.Unfortunately, at that time I was busy with my serial Siddhanth on Star One and I didn't want to divide my attention by doing another show."
Siddhanth in which Pawan Shankar played a conscientious lawyer immediately brought Pawan into prime-time focus. "Siddhanth is the only Indian TV show to be nominated for the prestigious Emmy awards. Though it didn't win, I'm very proud of it," says the guy from Allahabad.

Fret not....do you see the kind of response Skunk Sablok has already generated just by grabbing her hand and separating them??? We will create an uproar if anything like what you describe happens.

Secondly, fret not on the JB chemistry front. I find it extremely difficult to believe that the audience will forget anytime soon the place they've created in our hearts. The bloody ONS didn't stop us from being despos nor will this. I may be completely biased here, but I don't see ANYONE replacing RK and PD...their onscreen bonding is just too damm good and natural. So Skunk will go and skunk off really really soon.

I agree the JB pairing in pretty strong but the ONS did hit them. The purity of the JDD moments got tarnished and we always had it in the back of our minds and could not enjoy them. But I think the JW persona is too strong for any other character to be able to make an impact as the lead. Pia cannot pair with him because the backlash has been too strong so that only leaves Bani. But i don't trust ekta not to make us yearn for them months on an end.
