Roshni Chopra is a fairly good actress....but that is just it...we see her acting whereas Prachi has assumed the role and plays Bani so naturally.

I think Roshni Chopra tries too hard and over does it...She looks distorted and her face while it is naturally pretty, looks ugly...but then so is the character of Pia!

I understand what you're saying but imagine having watched KS with RC playing as Bani and PD playing the role of Pia... While Pia's role was glamorized, Bani's wasn't... In the beginning the drama, PD's look was very simple but now it's full of make-up and jewelry... While she holds her innocence, she has become very glamorized... Is it because she is married to JW? Or is it because PD as Bani has earned so much fan-fare that the producers have decided to assign her a personal make-up artist 😛 Just kidding...

Between RC and PD, it's obvious that RC looks older than PD -- their acting is a different story, of course... So with that in mind, if the creators went to RC as Bani and PD as Pia, I'm sure the look of KS would've been completely different... 😳

I have problems with RC playing Pia in the first place, so if I had to see her in Bani's character- the dignity, the beauty and endearing quality would never have appeared in Bani. I don't see the sensitivity and vulernability in Roshni's acting, which Bani's character requires. Plus Bani also needs to talk through her eyes, not bulge them out constantly!!

Now Prachi has Pia would be very very interesting!! I could see the spicy Prachi playing Pia, would definately be something to watch out for. 😉

ummm.. you have a point there... Roshni does hold say expression over and over again... But so does PD... I can't stand her when she turns into Zombi... She really looks like a tree that's been frozen for years... Highly annoying and I'm hoping that with time and more assignments, she can over come that "look"...😊

now about Bani's look as Pia... I've said this before and I'll say it again... I really want that day to come - when Bani becomes Pia and goes after what she really wants... Instead of letting the world walk all over her... C'mon Bharatiya Naari... Wake UP!!! 😆

But I will not indulge in that AGAIN. I'll just maintain that Kasamh Se wouldn't have been what it is had she been playing Bani (and I'm not being biased when I say this, I'm being objective).

Nope Prachi's cuteness goes with the role Bani.... But Roshni's looks & everything wont go with that role.... Pia's role suits her... 😛

That is because Bani was indeed in a "zombie" state and the character had to be portrayed as such not (to quote Rekha a/k/a MT) "looking like a Japanese Macau Monkey, smiling without any reason" ala Roshini Chopra.

Roshni Chopra has a persona of a model. She is beautiful looking actress.

But Prachi's face carries freshness and exhuberence which was needed for Bani's role.

Prachi can look glamourous if she wants to. But Roshni Chopra will not be able to carry a role of a simple next door girl.

The image of Roshni would never match the role.

And KS would not have been as successful as it is had it been RC playing Bani!!!!

Bani can never be played by Roshni, in JW's words, Bani is a simple, elegant, dignified and straight forward girl, Prachi fits the bill exactly. She is not overtly sexual, she is fresh, she can act as a loving, affectionate girl who fights for the truth. In the beginning of the soap, she acted as a strong willed girl with multi-faceted emotions, she acted as a zombie because the situation required it, she acted as devastated wife who comes to know that she has been betrayed by her husband and sister.

Roshni is Ok as Pia, she does come across a little jaded and been around the block. No offence to Roshni.

Yes, she does look older than Prachi.

On the negative side for Prachi, she is limited to playing younger roles because of her age. Also because she is really shy and does not want to do any more "Love" scenes, I feel KS has all those flashbacks instead of any more romance scenes with JW. I could be wrong on this, but lately, we are seeing more brotherly love between RK and Prachi than the real passion from June 19th..

RC as Bani never. She is a fairly decent actress and has improved since her role has turned negative, but it is not on par to PD's acting. True their styles are different. PD can tell a story with her eyes. RC's bulging eyes are not only annoying but frightening. I don't mean to offend anyone, but every time RC is in a scene where she is supposed to act mad, angry, surprised, annoyed, disgusted - she wrinkles her forehead, screws up her mouth and bulges her eyes.

I can see PD in the role of Pia, albeit a different Pia. She wouldn't be the vamp that RC places - maybe in that case we would all be routing for Pia and JW to get together. There is such natural chemistry between RK and PD that it can't go unnoticed.
