FORBIDDEN- CHAPTER 15
He tried to take her back in his arms and sooth her but she held against him and begged for him to leave her alone but jai just couldn't leave her like that and even though she tried to resist him he pulled her in his arms and hugged her to his heart and bani could resist herself any longer and hid her face into his chest and spilled her heart out and she asked him again and again "y r u doing this to meā¦..y r u punishing me for a sin I never didā¦ā¦yā¦.y??" jai just held her and just said soothingly "shhhā¦.sweetheartā¦shh!!! Iā¦..plzzzz believe me I don't ever want to hurt ur feelingsā¦..I know that I can trust u with my lifeā¦.its justā¦ā¦plzzzz just give me some time to figure myself outā¦..but there is one thing I want u to know bani that I do luv u with all my heart and I am never letting u get away from meā¦.. give me a chance baniā¦..give us a chance." Bani looked at him and she could see in his eyes that he meant each and every word he said.
She sighed resignedly and said "jai I know that u love me but its not enough for me, I can't live with the fact that u cant trust me and there is not a single thing I can do bout it and prove to u that u r wrong....Iā¦ I wish pushkar was alive he would have told u that u r absolutely wrong about him and meā¦.Iā¦.I wish pia would come out and confess that she had been lying but wishing wont make it happen I know its never gonna happen and I know that u still doubt me and I don't think some miracle is gonna happen and one day suddenly u'll trust me, that's not gonna happen jai so its up to u now either u trust me or u don't ā¦ā¦ā¦u need time to decide what u wantā¦u can take as much time as u like but until then justā¦.just let me beā¦.coz I can't I just can't take it anymore" jai wanted to protest against this but something that he saw in her eyes made him agree to what she said.
So for the next few days both of them kept to themselves which was proving too much for each of them ābeing so near and yet so far, but wat else could be done??
A few days later Krishna asked jai if they could go for a camping trip just as they used to when pushkar was alive and jai didn't have the heart to say no to the lil girl, Krishna insisted that bani went along with the two of them, bani tried to refuse telling Krishna that she couldn't as she had her arm broken but Krishna was adamant that bani came along with them in the end she decided to give in and went along with them.
They went to the near by forest (don't ask me forest kaha se aaya coz I dunno heheheh) and set the tents near a lake and had lods of fun setting up the tents and collecting wood for camp fire and they did some fishing which wasn't quite successful, as all they could catch was a small teensy-weensy fish and lods of garbage and Krishna and bani laughed there heads off and teased jai a lot coz he had been boasting big time bout his fishing skills. Luckily they had packed with them lods of instant food and they prepared the food and sat by the camp fire enjoying there meal under the star light sky, hearing Krishna's childish blabbers and laughed along with her. After a long time they both felt at ease with each other there was suddenly no tension between them.
Then suddenly Krishna said "I had sooooo much fun today, can we do it more often plzzz uncle can we huh can we??" jai smiled and said "sure honey we'll come again veryy soon promise" Krishna squeaked happily "yayyyyyyy!!! And bani u'll also come along with us na" bani was lost in her own world and didn't think before answering "no krissy I won't be able to come, I have to go back to Mumbai" Krishna suddenly had huge tears forming in her eyes and when bani saw this she felt like kicking herself but before she could say anything to console the child, Krishna suddenly had a bright idea which cheered her up again and she said "bani, , u and jai uncle can get married and then u'll stay here with us forever and then I can be ur lil girl and we can all be a family huh huh huh?? andā¦.and then I'll have a dad and ā¦.and ā¦.a mom again" she said the last three words very hesitatingly and looked up questioningly at both jai and bani.
Bani just didn't have the courage to look into the lil girl's eyes and jai didn't know wat to say to her after seeing the way Krishna was looking happy at the prospect. Then Krishna suddenly asked again hesitantly "canā¦.can I ā¦be ur lil girl just like I was daddy's lil girl???......and then she asked in hardly hearable voice "canā¦.i call u both daddy and mommy??"
Jai had tears in his eyes when he heard Krishna asking this, as if scared of their answer and that they would refuse her too , that just like her parents (one unwillingly and other willingly) had refused to luv her,she was scared that he and bani would do the same. And bani had tears spilling down at the thought of wat life had done to a sweet little grl, had so deprived her of love that she was now afraid to ask for it. She just couldn't say anything coz her throat was constricted with a huge lump, she just pulled Krishna into a tight hug. It was jai who managed to answer krishna's question "of course u r our lil grl and we all love u a lotttt, and it would make me really happy if u called me daddy bcoz then I'll get myself an angel of a daughter" Krishna's face lightened up and she got out of bani's hug and wnet straight into jai's arms and looked into his face and asked again as if to make sure "u'll be my daddy??" jai just nodded her head and Krishna could see all his love in his eyes and she hugged him tight and then whispered in his ears "I luv u ā¦..daddy" now jai too had tears spilling down his cheeks and he whispered back to krishna "I luv u too my lil angel" after a while Krishna turned around within jai's arms and looked up expectantly towards baniā¦ā¦ā¦..to be cont.
