Did Zee Say No Cross Marriages to Ekta

I am curious. I heard mentioned that Zee had told Ekta before putting Kasam Se on that there would be no cross marriages. Is that true? I heard cross marriage is very common in Ekta serials even with the protagonists very much in love with each other....I am trying to figure out if she will spare us.....

i don't think that zee might have told ekta any such thing because if i am not wrong then even in zee tv history we have seen breaking jodis. i think someone posted that jodi of Dr. simran and abhimanyu was broken and abhimanyu got married to someone and after years he again got married to simran i think it was something called astitva. otherwise apart from KS i have never

It could happen, as Zee shows are always a little different from the normal saas-bahu bakwaas.

It happens in many serials, even on Zee. A very popular Piya Ka Ghar had cross marriges.

I heard that Zee had an ekta serial called kamal which had cross marriages a galore and zee got really disgusted. Thus another K serial in zee after a long time. Also that zee told ekta to not do her usual cross marriage shenanigans. I think the ONS was pretty gross by any Indian TV standards (hubby of the sister who raised you).

though i would love to believe this,i feel ZEE as a channel needs Kekta mayi's support...KS and SP pulled ZEE out of its anonymity...in that way Kekta can have her own word....

but if ZEE have managed to get hold of Kekta's nerves i kudos to them..not an easy task!!!!!

But Himali KS is tanking and several of the other ZEE shows are doing well and even beating KS soundly.

i think sindoor is also a zee tv soap and i think this show is still running and in that very serial they have shown cross marriages between devar bhabhi only and devar raped her babhi and all that. so i don't think that destructive of zee will say no to cross marriages in KS.

Astitva Ek Prem Kahani, Piya ka Ghar, Sindoor Tere Naam Ka and Reth are a few on top of my mind right now which showed extra-marital affair/cross marriages/double marriages..and ofcourse, quite an old serial, I don't know if any of you would've seen it--"Hasratein" showed extramarital affair between Harsh Chhaya and Shefali Chhaya, who were both married to different people..infact that was the main theme of the story..their relationship was shown to be as strong even after a 20 year leap..and that show ran very well during those days..

So I highly doubt Zee wud've told any such thing to Ekta about it..
