The first Award of the Ceremony that went to the KS Team was for the Debutant / Fresh Face of the Year, which was jointly awarded to Rajshree Thakur (Saat Phere) and our very own, Prachi Desai (Kasamh Se) Prachi looked pretty nervous when the Award Category was announced, prolly since, she was also pretty sure to win it!😃
Prachi looked adorable and appeared to be so confident on the Stage! She looked extremely young and very different from the Bani we are used to seeing! She was dressed pretty simply in a Baby Pink Kurti and a Black flowing Skirt, looking her usual cute self! (There is something so non-filmy and innocent about Prachi, that its impossible not to fall in love with her!😊 No wonder she is the Apple of everyone eyes on the KS Sets!) Prachi and Rajshree hugged warmly before leaving for the Stage and Prachi very graciously congratulated her first before accepting her Award...Very good manners, this girl has!
Prachi thanked her Mother, her Family, Ram, Ashwini and Naman in particular, besides the usual KS Team, Balaji and Ekta (Ekta looked very proud when Prachi got her Award!) Ram and Gautami were cheering on so much when Prachi came on Stage and recieved her Award...Actually Gautami seemed to cheer more! RK was grinning from one end to another (He looked incredibly handsome dressed in Black and Blue Suit😳 Somehow I feel that RK looks much more handsome in real life than as JW!)
Ashwini got the Award for the Best Actor in a Negative Role! Ashwini (Wearing something absolutely ridiculous in yellow) spoke very well when she came to receive her Award and thanked her Family and ended with, How can ever forget to thank, 'My Brother, Jai Walia....that is Ram Kapoor'....Ram (Smiling enignmatically as ever) gave her a flying kiss from his seat😃 So Sweet...Then in a very funny and cute manner, Ashwini thanked the three sisters (Bani, Pia and Rano) without who's positivity, she could never have been negative enough to get this Award😆 (Ash rocks and makes me miss her so much in KS!) Ashwini was very emotional on stage and said that it is because of Kasamh Se, Ekta and Sandip that after 11 years in Television, she finally got recognition!
Ram, Gautami, Sandip Sikand, Samir Soni and Ashwini (and her Boyfriend) were seated together while Prachi, Naman and the girl who plays Raashi were seated together! Raashi hugged Prachi when her name was announced, but a very funny thing, I think Naman wanted to hug Prachi, but she just shaked hands and left for the Stage....Prachi seems to be very traditional, or maybe she reserves her Hugs only for Ram😉😆 Poor Naman, btw, he looked cho chweet (He too was with his girlfriend)
Earlier Ram and Gautami had come onto stage to give the Best Supporting Actor and Actress Trophy for Hiten and Tina (Both were absent) Lolz...No wonder Hiten is so mad, not only did RK win the Best Actor Award, he actually came to present the Award to Hiten😆 (There was an AV of Hiten thanking for the Award, he was so ungracious😡 Why accept the Award if you feel that you deserved more?)
Btw, the Camera kept panning regularly on Ram, who looked a little nervous (Prolly because he was sure to win the Award, maybe that is why the nervousness or maybe the Camera person was a woman and was obviously star-struck by Ramu😉!) while Gautami looked gorgeous and was smiling...RK and GK make a very good looking couple!😃
Ram was grinning away like anything when Kasamh Se was voted the Best Serial, while Gautami hugged him and he went to the Stage taking Prachi by her shoulders to recieve the Award, while Prachi placed her hand on his Waist (Ahem, Prachi😉)...Lolz...Prachi was blushing away!😳 (Kind of looked a little awkward!) It seemed that it was Jai and Bani Walia who went to stage to accept the Award and not Ram and Prachi! Naman was smiling widely, from one end to another as RK and PD went to the Stage to recieve the Award!
Ram recieved the Award and thanked Ekta, saying that KS would not be anything without her, she is the thought behind it, she is the inspiration (Seriously Ram...Are you that scared of her?😆 What about thanking Sandip? He was the vision behind the best of KS...Ekta only spoilt it!🤢)
OK....Now the Best Award of the Year...Couple of the Year...Ram was blushing already as Renuka and Ayub announced the Category and poor Prachi😆 She just kept grinning and tried her best to not show any expression, Naman looked as if he was readying himself to tease the hell out of Prachi. Poor Ram, looked so awkward when the Award was annonunced and his Wife kept hitting him from behind (She was seated behind his row) to get up and go to the Stage!😆 (Can't believe RK to be such a Prude!)
Awwww...As Ram came across from his Seat, Prachi literally came and jumped onto Ram and gave him a Bear Hug as Ram hugged her back in a very Big Brother Manner, patting her affectionately on her head (Really, he is too sweet)...Gautami was grinning away (The Camera panned immeidiately to Gautami when the Award was announced!) Prachi hugged Aamna while Ram hugged Aman when they went onto the Stage....Lolz...Ram then took the Mike and said that this is certainly a very strange situation for him, as Prachi and I make the Best Odd Couple and definitely not the Couple of the Year....and then Ram asked the audience, "Do you know what is her Age?" Bani blushed and grinned, while Aman said that, "Your pair is that of Beauty and the Beast"....and Ram tounge in cheek answered back, "Ya, I am the Beauty and she is the Beast"...😆 Aman said, "Ya Exactly!" Prachi, poor girl, was blushing away like anything! (Andar ki khabar yeh hai ki, the AV on the Stage showed the 19th June Scene when their Award was announced and PD literally slumped in her chair out of embarassment....What they show is the Edited Version on Television!)
Prachi thanked Ram in particular for the Award (She was definitely nervous this time) and said that she doesn't think that next year we will get the Award, because now the audience will know our age difference in real life!😆 Ram gave her a. 'Set par chal, tujhe batata hoon' look! Ram then took the mike again and said that, he wants to share a secret about their pairing today, when the serial begin, He and Prachi were paired with different people, but it was the brainwave of two people, Ekta and Ashwini who decided that Ram and Prachi should be paired together...and see, how it has paid off. (Ask us Ramu, we've spent the last 11 months detailing how good JW and Bani look together) Ram then thanked Ekta for Casting them together and for the Award. (RK and PD looked so good together, even though their age difference looked much more apparent than it appears in the Serial That they share a tremendous off-screen camaderiship is totally obvious!😃)
Ekta looked extremely happy and kept clapping (She looked happiest when RK and PD recieved their Awards, they seem to be her current favourites!) There was a lot of cheering from the Crowd for both Ram and Prachi when they came on stage to accept their Award!😃 (Its really sad that Sandip's name was skipped, because, from what I know, it was Sandip's idea to pair RK and PD together😕) Prachi looked extremely happy on recieveing this Award, particularly because Aamna presented it to her, they seemed to get along like a House on Fire, Aamna hugged her very affectionatley!
RK poor guy was wiping the sweat off his face as Samir Soni and Divya Dutta came to announce the Award for Best Actor (Male)...The Camera was only panning on him! The AV shown for Ram's nomination was the scene where he comes to know that he is going to become the Father of Bani's child! (One of his best Scenes, nevertheless) Divya Dutta announced the Award...and Guys, the kind of cheering was amazing....Gautami gave a smooch to him, followed by Awhini's kiss and then Prachi, looking so happy, coming across from her seat and hugging him again, followed by Raashi who hugged him...Ram actually hugged both of them together (Seriously, no one leaves a chance to hug this guy😆)
Ram looked so amazing as he walked ot accept the Award and hugged Divya warmly (Lucky Females, I tell you!) Ram came onto the Stage (He looked quite calm but yes, a bit emotional) and said that he has to admit that this was the Award he was waiting for! (That was candid of him!) RK thanked his Parents, especially his Mother, who was also there in the Award Ceremony and then he thanked his Wife, saying she is just about the Best Wife a man can get and then said there is another woman in his Life, without whom he wouldn't be here on this Stage.
Ekta looked so, so happy as Ram thanked Ekta, saying that it was Ekta, who gave him work twice, especially when he needed it...Ekta looked overwhelmed and emotional and gave him a flying kiss from where she was seated and had an expression of 'Oh, now don't say that, please'!😃 Awww, Ram seems to be everyone's favourite (Except a jealous few!😡) Ram then thanked his daughter, Sia, saying that once when she grows up, she can watch the DVD of her Father getting the Award! Awww....Ramu!😳 (There was so much of cheering when Ram was on the Stage, its apparent he is extremely popular amongs the Masses and the majority of the Television Fraternity!)
Later, they showed some bits of behind the Screen, where Ram and Gautami were together with both his Awards and Prachi was shown hugging Sandip emotionally and showing him the Award she got (It seemed as if she was telling him, that he is the one who deserves the Award) and then they showed Naman smiling away (He looks very much like his character Pushkar in real life!) The maximum focus was on Ramu, Aamna and Prachi tonight!
Very well organized show...excpet that a lot of Actors were absent (Most of the guys who were nominated in the Best Actor Category didn't turn up, cause I think it was pretty sure that RK will walk off with the Award! Pawan looked very disappointed when this award was announced and clapped pretty half-heartedly! But the KS Team looked totally elated, especially Ekta, Prachi, Naman, Raashi and Ashwini!)
