Prt 5
When Jai had heard that Bani would be staying with them for the next few months he was exstatic. He was giddy like a kid in a candy store. Bani moved in the very next day. Jai thought that now he would get home early. Even since they got married Ranveer Bhaia left the office early or on time, never late. Jai was the one that stayed late, he didn't have anyone waithing for hima thome so he figured why not work. Now, the case was totally different. Even if Bani wasn't really waiting for him, she was still there. Poor Jai, he planed one thing but life planned something else. They got a big contract and they had a very limited time span to complete it. Both Ranveer and Jai had to stay at work late. He still got to see Bani, but not as much as he wanted to.
In the weeks after she moved in Jai saw how devoted to her sister she really was. Raashi bhabi was suffering from seriousl morning sickness…not just in the morning but all day. Bhaia was wiped, weak and tired. Bani had totally taken over the household. Rasshi would tell her what needed to be done and she would do it. She mad sure that Raashi was taken care of as well. On night when Jai and Ranveer and gotten home late they saw no sign of Bani or Raashi. They heard the faint running of water from one of the bathrooms. As they got closer they saw that Raashi was doubled over the sink puking her guts out. Raashi had dared to eat a little heavy food and this is what happned. Bani ws at her side holding her hair and wiping her forehead. Ranveer Bhaia dropped his briefcase and proceded to helping Raashi, only then did Bani come out.
After that incident Raashi Bhabi was on bed rest, orders of Ranveer Bhaia…"NO" was not an option. During the next month Bani took care of Raashi Bhabi, Ranveer Bhaia nd of course Jai. She made sure they ate and that they got home on time not too late. Everything was done for them. Bani was going to doctors appointmenst with Raashi Bhaia everything.
One day, after a few months, Raashi Bhabi was now in her 5th month and getting bigger day by day, not that that was a bad thing. She was happy and beautiful. Jai came home early, their big project was done. Ranveer Bhaia and Raashi Bhabi had gone shopping for the baby. Jai thought Bani had gone too. He went into the entertainment room and put on a CD, it was Micheal Jackson "Thriller". It was little secret, his favorite song. He knew that the butlers would never tell him anything, and the shoppers would be out for another hour atleast. He put the CD up to full blast, took of his coat, shoes and loosened his tie. As "Thriller" came on Jais got into the groove. He was dancing like there was no tomorrow. He felt good, he didn't have tiem or the space to do this in a long time. It was odd but for some reason ths song and dancing to it clamed him down, reduced his stress.
Jai was shaking his groove thing with is back to the entrance. He did a one foot 360 degree spin. He spun alround and came to a dead halt once he was standing in his origional postion, with his back to the door. His eyes bugged out inshock. He slowly turned his head over his shoulder and saw someone standing at the door. It was no other than Bani. The girl he had the biggest high school crush on was watching him doing "Thriller" only God knows for how long. Jai turned about as bright read as red chilli pepper, he felt just that hot too. Jai slowly turned off the song, hes thinking if he goes slow enough then maybe Bani wont see…Yeah Right!. As the music goes of Bani bursts out laughing to his face. No one has ever laughed at Jai Walia, let alone to his face. Je was at a loss for words. He grabbed his coat and shoes and fled upstairs, literally fled. Another first for Jai Walia, running away from sonethign,and that too a girl…what was happening to him.
At dinner that night everyone was seated and eating together. Bani made sure everyoen had enough food b4 she settled down. Jai was taking a sip of water when he heard the very distinct hum coming from Bani. She was humming "Thriller"…Jai chocked and he could swear water came out of his nose. Bani burst out laughin again.
Ras- Jai what happned are you ok?
J- *cough cough* yeah Bhabi im fine, just down the wrong pipe.
Ran- No there is more to it…Bani why r u laughing?
B- What..oh no its nothing…just saw something hilarious this evening.
Ran- Oh yeah tell us too, whats so funny.
Jai thought OMG what if hse tell Bhaia, but amizingly Bani didn't. She said it was a secret joke between her and only one other person. It was a special joke, the rest of them were out of luck. Jai brethed a sigh of relief and excused himself from dinner.
In his room Jai was thinking...about Bani. Never in his life had anyone laughed at or teases the Jai Walia. IT just wasn't done. And here comes this girl he really dosnt know much about and she has him on his toes. He wants to see her all the time, he thinks aobut her constatnly. She has the never to laugh at him and tease him. Oddly, he dosent mind. He like it. She had guts and she was fun. He like that Bani had said it was a special joke for just her and him. Ok…even as a joke…at least Bani thought he was special…Right?
