Life is indeed looking up for Bani, at least it seems for time being. 😛 She is happy to love the man whom she cherishes, to love deeply, truthfully and whole-heartedly and also to be the object of his attention in trun. Yes, it could have been a picture perfect setting – the only problem being the frame is broken at the edges. The scar is slightly showing for time being but the depth of the wound is phenomenal. And there is only one cure for this – Time and only Time.
Yet, she is in a world of her own, ably cocooned and protected by the knowledge and intensity of her love for him and his love for her. Their Love has been immortal since time immemorial, only the circumstances were defective or ill-timed. Bani wants to bring back every ounce of Love that Jai ahs lost in his life, back to his life again and she is trying to ensure that this time, she is able to communicate her love for him to him. She is totally a woman in love and she has no qualms about expressing her love for Jai in front of others – be it her sisters, Mausi, Dadi, Pushkar, Jai himself. In fact, we can say that she is at peace with her heart, her soul, her feelings and her emotions today. She doesn't have to care about anything else in the world now, everything will just fit in in the scheme of things in times to come. Bani just wants to spend time with Jai, erase the hurt that she has caused him and heal him with her love and be graced by God in turn. As a result, she is more than willing to welcome Krishna back in their lives since she's well aware of the fact that Jai wanted the kid so badly to complete his family. Lets hope that she's able to fulfil her wishes. 😛
The confidence in her love has also lifted the veil off her stifled and restrained persona, today she is not afraid to even share a joke with Dadi and Mausi that there is someone else in Jai's life and that she was late in reaching Dubai. Her expressions change so beautifully during this scene that it's a wonder to watch her (and also Prachi). She is totally love-struck. Little does she know that the issue of her joke is also going to be one of the biggest truths of her life? She shares warm and tender moments with Rano too and talks excitedly about her trip to Dubai and how it has brought her so close to Jai and has cemented their relation for ever. When Rano points out to her that she has got gifts for everybody but herself, Bani just shrugs off the issue as if getting material stuffs for herself is no more relevant to her – she has got the best gift for herself that she always desired – the love and affection of her husband.
We get to see different hues of her character today – when Bani hands over the skirts that she brought for Pia to Pia, her maang tikka accidentally gets caught in the skirts. And Pia, unaware of the presence of the jewellery was taking it along with her. But Bani stopped her from doing so and asked for it back and states clearly that it is one thing that a woman will never share with somebody else – her suhaag. Notice she doesn't say 'will not share with a sister', she says 'will not share with any woman'. Its crystal clear that where Jai is concerned, he's off limits for anybody and everybody and that she doesn't have any intention of sharing him with anybody at any time. Pia got the message loud and clear. I am happy that till now Bani is going on the correct track. Lets see how the creatives sustain it.😕
Coming to other tracks in the show – there was a lovely dialogue that Pushkar tells Jai before leaving Dubai. He tells Jai about how Bani had tried to save his property and even when she was hurting Jai with her idiosyncracies, she was also suffering at the same time and living her own death. He then tells Jai that Bani has a lot of love for Jai in her heart and trhat he is happy to see Jai and Bani together. Pushkar gives Jai a photo of both Jai and Bani together and further tells Jai that before leaving for Dubai, Bani had told Pushkar that "Mein Dubai Mr. Walia se milney ke liye nahin, apni zindagi se milne jaa rahi hoon, jo kahin kho gaya tha." One of the best dialogues I have heard and Pushkar did a fine job as a friend. Thanks Ekta for keeping the Bani-Pushkar friendship intact, please don't mess it up. PLEASE.
Jai is surprised to hear all this and he is also angry at himself for doubting Bani and Pushkar even for a fleeting moment. He is also overwhelmed by Bani's love for him though he fails to understand some of the steps taken by Bani. However, he refuses to overlook Bani's innocence and her love for him and decideds to give it a try. He is of course very ashamed and guilty of his conduct with Pia in Dubai before Bani arrived and is shattered to think of how Bani will react when she comes to know the truth. He acknowledges that he is Bani's culprit and that he will stoically bear all pain and hatred that he receives from Bani once the truth surfaces. He is also worried at the chunauti issued by Natwar to save his company within 2 hours precise. So instead of coming home to meet his family members, he goes straight to his office.
Pia is also experiencing guilt pangs and she admonishes herself severely for destroying her sister's life, albeit unknowingly, and that she will have to pay the price. Rano overhears this part of Pia's conversation with herself, and accosts her for the truth. I think Pia will keep quiet for time being, she is gradually progressing towards suffering from mental stress and its already showing on her face and body language.
A scene that stands out today is when Bani thinks of her KC night with Jai and remembers all those beautiful moments. The moments are crystal clear, celebrating love and innocence. Pia, at the same time, also remembers her moments with Jai on that same fateful night, but the glimpses that she sees with her mind's eyes are faded out as in photo negatives, implying guilt which is holding her down pretty strongly.
A pretty good episode. Everybody performed well. It was hilarious to see Jigs not taunting either of the Dixit sisters – Barnali sure has given her and Jai a taste of her own medicine. But I like the fact that when Jai leaves for his Office from the Airport, Jigs also volunteers to go with him, owning up her responsibility too.
