Calm After Storm: Audience Have Spoken

I am not trying to make any moral judgements in this post. The events of last week has left a bad taste with a lot of audiences. The situation as I see the creators have laid out, is that a woman on a mission to save her beloved husbands property completely destroys the man and that man in a moment of weakness gives in to his SIL for comfort who has been throwing herself at him.

The degree of mistake/sin committed by the characters is for the auience to decide based upon individual belief systems. However, the one thing that has happened very brutally is that the show that had us addicted to it due to it's charm and subtle handling has been destroyed to move the story. I think the higher TRP's last week was due to audience shock and a need to see if what they saw was a dream or reality Ekta style. But now that the dust has settled the audience has rejected the story - proof in point 9th place in TRP despite heavy promotion of JB scene. The audience has finally declared that the magic is gone.

I applaud the audience for taking back some power back and rejecting any cr--p that is shoved our way. I hope Ekta takes this as a wakeup call and makes some serious changes and tries to redeem the story and bring some of the old magic back.

I completely agree with U. I think a lot of damage has been done and now when JB are shown together, there seems to be very little chemistry.

I hope ekta realizes her mistake and change the storyline. We as the indian audience can accept any other woman in Jai's life but not Pia. For God sake pia is the sister of Jai's wife Bani. How gross can that be!!!
The only redeeming factor left for ekta is to show Jai doing the actions and not just emoting love through his eyes. Bani needs some action man. Surrender to her totally with all your heart!!!!!!

i completely agree wid u deyshow changed sroryline n make it better wid jb chemistry!

I watched the much hyped video, and sadly it didn't hold as much charm as before. The uuhs and the ahhs just couldn't surface. The addiction has died down.

Saksena, part of the magic was that JB almost lived in a world of thier own, which they understood and cherished. With the Pia track there are such cracks in that world that the audience is finding the romance hard to swallow. Them looking at each other across a room before was more romantic than the dinner date they showed. I feel the whole dubai shoot was sloppy and destroyed the rhythm of the show significantly.....

i totally agree with you the magic has gone i can see jai with any other woman than pia and ekta spoiled the storyline i reallt don/t know where is it going to go/any hopes/ i wonder/

It almost felt like the ghost of Pia was hovering waiting to swoop down. The scene was too contrived.

J&B's chemistry died after the C-night....It has only surfaced once in a while.....Most of us watch KS cause we are used to it more than any addiction!

I agree!! The chemistry has been destroyed by the creative team..The love lorn Jai that we have seen in the past, the guy who could never take his eyes away from Bani has disappeared midst the controversies and infidelity!!!

The chemistry got burnt after JP Night!!!!!!!1111 😡

I would disagree a bit. I think the J&B chemistry was at a peak through the weddings. For example the sangeet, the numerous eye locks etc. The magic started to fade with the whole illogical divorce alimony storyline. However, the hope was still there that once the misunderstandings were cleared they would reconnect. But with the whole Pia angle the equation got changes and now there is a sick feeling. Now it all feels like they are trying too hard. Also the production quality in these dubai scenes have been deplorable.
