Yesterday the whole day I could not login to KS as I was pretty unwell and my internet was not working...And believe me I was wrong in thinking that my obsessiveness with the forum is over...cuz I actually missed not being able to login into the forum...As soon as I reached office today, the first thing I did was log in to IF... 😊

Secondly I guess I am the last to write my version of our famous four feast...but better late than never. 😊

Wishes do come true!!!

Well, what I had wished for few months back definitely came true on Tuesday when I met my three virtual friends. It seemed just like yesterday when I accidentally entered KS forum and ever since been hooked to it. Like all the other members I would too wait impatiently for MT's update, Raaga and Anu's observations and Sangeeta's fanfics. I would confess it was at a later stage that I started reading Poo's update. But more than that what caught my attention was the easy camaraderie they all shared with each other and this is what I envied the most. However how was I supposed to know few months down the line, on one fateful afternoon I would be a part of this unbelievable group and contributing equally on creating a rumpus in Pizza Hut.

MT, Raaga and Pooja have in their own way very beautifully described our unique or what should I say a get together. But then such get-togethers are usually held between people we know and get along well with. However here we are four strangers never seen each other before and absolutely unsure if we are even going to like each other or not, but then sometimes we have to just take a chance and as the common saying goes leave the rest to fate. After all its fate that got each of us to this forum bound by a common thread of KS and yes how can we forget our dearest Mr. Walia.

So armed with this belief that at least KS and Jai Walia can be our saving graces if we don't find anything else in common, I very confidently take an auto for G.K – I, M- Block market. Though at most times I am the last one to reach anywhere, surprisingly I reach M-Block much before time to find the market absolutely deserted with few odd shopkeepers looking at me strangely. Despite M-block being my so called adda (hangout) my memory deceived me this time as I blissfully forgot on Tuesdays the market is closed. I dial MT's number to hear from the other end; I can't hear you and I'll take another half an hour to reach. The second call is to Pooja, who thankfully reassures me she'll reach in 10 minutes. Our appointed meeting venue, Barista has its shutters half down and doesn't leave me with any other option except for walking down to McDonald's.

While impatiently waiting for them, I muse over how we are going to react when we meet each other for the first time, just then Pooja calls up to say she has reached the other end of the market. Well as per Pooja's description, one should spot her misplaced natural bindi, however how does one recognize that from a distance is still a puzzle to me. The closed market was definitely a blessing in disguise as there were hardly any people, so spotting Pooja was not at all difficult. The first thing I notice about her is her eyes, since they are definitely not black, but I wasn't observant enough to figure out what shade of brown it was. I leave that for Poo to tell you what color her eyes are. We both went upstairs and took a table at the extreme corner and before we could ponder on how we are going to recognize the other two, Aarti (Raaga) called up and Pooja told her to come up to McDonald's.

Since the decibel level in McDonald's can be quite high, we decide to go to Pizza Hut, where at least we won't need to shout to talk to each other. As Raaga is in the process of shifting, we fill her up on all the KS info and reassure her she hasn't missed out on much except for drooling at her pyara Munna. Just before MT arrives we cook up a plan of fooling her and even succeed in doing so while the Pizza Hut staff threw funny glances at us like pataa nahi kaun se zoo se bhaag kea aye hai…After the initial excitement of meeting each other, we get down to some serious gossiping and try and dig as much as inside info possible from MT. Eventually all three of us fail in getting any kind of inside info from her and we finally gave up as hunger pangs takes priority over knowing about Munna's future love life. Raaga seems adamant on capturing our funny expressions and we rope in one of the staff to click our snap…and what a snap it was…I am sure even the best of photographers and designers won't be able to get that perfect color combination and effects that's there in this snap of ours…After that masterpiece, we did manage to get some ordinary pics clicked, but those come no where close to that one perfect piece of art…

In between all that lively chit chat and banter, I did manage to observe all my three friends a little closely, even if it was just for a moment…Pooja or as we all fondly call her Miss Poo comes across as a sweet, down to earth and definitely a very intelligent person. Though she's a very mature and sensible, I felt there's a little kid lurking somewhere within and that kind of brings out her simplicity. In fact Pooja is one of the very first friends I made at the forum and the one who also introduced me to MT. In a way I am thankful to Pooja, after all I wouldn't be a part of this experience if it wasn't for her.

Contrary to Raaga's belief that she looks like a behenji, believe me it's just the opposite. She definitely underestimates herself. Raaga can easily be called a pretty professor as she completely fits the bill. Besides that, Raaga has the capability of passing a humorous comment with such a straight face, that everyone around her will be in splits except her. The name Raaga suits her more than her real name, the reason being her voice has this musical resonance that gels perfectly well with Raaga – meaning musical notes…I think so, correct me guys if I am wrong…I don't know how to describe it but when she speaks there's a certain amount of grace and calmness to her voice…

With MT, I am still forming an impression…jokes apart she's as vivacious and warm hearted as she sounds over the phone and definitely quite attractive. She just has this uncanny way of making you feel comfortable and at ease instantly. And what I found most endearing about her was MT coming in bathroom slippers, because in a city like Delhi, where people are so very conscious about how they look and what they wear, it was definitely refreshing to meet a bunch of people who were not summing you up at a superficial level. There was no pretense at all, each of us were ready to except the other just the way we were, there were no pre-defined notions or conditions except for just one thing – be yourself…

I guess this is the reason why we all clicked instantly and managed to create such a ruckus that I am sure none of us would be allowed to enter Pizza Hut again…None of us had any clue where those two hours disappeared and the best part was that though KS bought us together, we hardly spent much time talking about KS or Raaga's darling Munna….Don't ask me what we were talking about, all I can remember was that those two hours were definitely magical and unforgettable…Sometimes there comes moments in our lives, which gives us immense joy and happiness, but if one was to ask to describe what happened, we find ourselves at a loss of words, because all that we can remember is the feeling we experienced at that particular moment and the same holds true for us, who met as strangers but departed as friends…with a promise to meet again…
