Why has B changed so much?

One of my fave J-B scene- way ahead of the 6/19 scene which is so popular in IF- was the scene where B comes back from her Mom's B-day puja at Pushky's place. This was a time where Jai still hated B and B if she didn't actually hate Jai, didn't love him either. In this scene both JW and B opened their hearts out to each other on the sorrows of loneliness and orphanhood.

That's what I fail to understand, if B could pour her heart out to a stranger who hated her, why in the current scrape she couldn't share her feelings with a man whom she loves more than her life and who (she knows) also loves her in turn. I can only regret the fact that if she had J-B would still be together (I am of course presuming that she has forgiven J for PR Raaz), a sham divorce notwithstanding, and also little Krishna would still be alive.

That scene is one of my personal favourites too! Man, I so miss those episodes...Wish KS would begin once again! 😭

In my Friday Update, I had expressed exactly the same sentiment! Why have they murdered Bani's character so much? Isn't the serial supposed to be from a Woman's point of view...It is surely Jai's story also, but it is first & foremost Bani's story.....Her relationship with the man she loves and her sisters! Why have they made such a doormat out of her character? Why can't she just go and tell Jai what is in her mind and heart?

Jai has comparitively always been more expressive towards Bani, be it in his Hatred or in his Love! Bani never hated Jai, I think she always held him with deference, respect and yes, Fear, but never Hatred! And perhaps that is why it was easier for her to fall in love than for Jai!

I really wish they would make Bani the way she was before......Its exasperating to see her cry all the time and suffer from everything possible thing under the Sun!

PS: One scene I remember is before the Marriage...Jai and Bani have a huge confrontation regarding Pia and Bani really gives it to Jai! 👏 She is not one bit rude or harsh, but she really gives him a good piece of her mind....What happened to that Firebrand girl?

Nice to know that the scene I referred to was one of your fave scenes as well. I had thought that the scene was "not hot enough" and would have long been forgotten by the public.

Well, it was supposed to be about "the trials and tribulations of three sisters" but I guess it has now become the tale of trials and tribulations of St. Bani and JW.

(I really wish they would make Bani the way she was before......Its exasperating to see her cry all the time and suffer from everything possible thing under the Sun! )

She is sadly becoming more and more like St. Kash of KTH. I hope it does not extend now to St. Bani handing over JW (as if a husband were some trophy) to Peabrain. But on second thoughts I guess if St. Bani was the original Bani, KS would be over by now- J&B would be remarried (after a sham divorce and property transfer), Jigs and Ranveer would be in jail, Peabrain packed off to Shukla Mansion.

What u said is so true. That Bani was able to pour her heart to Jai when she did not like him and both hated the sight of each other. It is also one of my favorite scenes.
But Bani has changed so much, has evolved from what she was. Though I agree that they have to an extent ruined her character. But I think with the present scenario Bani will come out as a stonger character.
Though I also agree what MT said the confrontation scene where Bani gives it to Jai was also good.
But I think Bani had to be evolved, they had to show that though Bani comes to know that Jai was responsible for her mother's death and that they showed her struggle with herself where she says that she loves and hates Jai with the same intensity.
At some level, she must have forgiven him that is why she came when she came to know that Jai's property and life is in danger.
And her ultimate scarifice where in a bid to save the life of her love and her husband looses her child.
And I believe Jai will reflect on this.
Though to an extent her character has changed a lot but she remains the same Bani who we love and I am positive that Bani's character will come out much stronger.
This is what I feel.
Would love to know ur comments.

Ditto! My favorite scenes of KS till date are when Bani calls Jai khadoos followed up by the scene that you mentioned!😳

As per by comparing and contrasting the past Bani Walia with the present Bani Walia, I don't seem to understand the current Bani one bit! She was really an extravert before she realized that she loved Jai...I don't seem to get why she keeps everything to herself now?😕

But as my guess....I think yeh sab pyar ka jadoo hai!! (Don't ask me how I know😉) If you have noticed that just after the force marriage between Jai-Bani, Lady Walia did not seem to care what she said to Jai and how he felt about it. She simply stated her emotions because she didn't feel anything for Jai at that time. But gradually as time passed by, she placed herself in Jai's shoe and experienced what he might have been feeling. She start to understand his reasons behind his harsh behavior and didn't want him to feel miserable. Therefore she slowly stopped saying unnecessary words to him....just so that he would be out of his depressed state of mind. Lekin waqt ke meherbaani se, she fell in love with him!😳 She did not want to see him hurt in anyway....her happiness was in his happiness. St. Bani started to keep everything to herself, regardless of how urgent it was to be told to Jai!😡 So now, the St. Bani is still herself.....slightly turning into an extreme one though!!

Hope I got the message clear😕....ki yeh sab pyar ka kamaal hai!!😉

You're right! Both Jai and Bani have changed so much.

The greatest change in JW being that from Bani being Pia's sister (if you recall that scene J's sign off line was "Kash! tum Pia ki behen nahin hoti")to a point where Pia is little more than Bani's sister (trying to salvage her marriage to bring solace to B or slipping on bangles to irritate B). And of course he has become a better human being, more patient and more forgiving.

As far as B is concerned, she is the same noble soul that she always was, what I fail to understand is why as mor and more she falls in love with JW, less she is able to communicate with JW. Shouldn't it be the reverse.
