Guys, this is my feelings flowing out after seeing the distressing episodes of ks... i need a breathe .. so i tried to coold down assuming it this way...pls overlood the mistakes and inexperienced writing skilss.. may be this is the second time after my FF here i am trying to do something...

Short Story - Tumhari Kasam
Bani, Pia and Jai landed in Dubai Airport. Bani has to come with Jai when Pia's visa has a problem that she is under-graduate to get a business visa. The company which was collaborating with Walia Industries was arranging a award presentation ceremony for Jai and his wife for the humanitarian help given to the public in many levels and regions. Pia is about to sign a new contract with the company to start a new project under her company which Jai started just a couple of days ago. She is very hard working. She is trying to take Jai in hands by working hard and showing it off well. But he was only giving the attention based on the job she does.
It was Aditya who planned this trip secretly thinking that atleast now the couple will reconcile. Here the company invited Mrs.and Mr. Walia to receive the awards and they came a week ago just for Pia to finish her job. Bani stayed in the villa the company rented for their stay. They got three separate rooms over looking the Jumeirah beach and gulf water. There was a beautiful balcony in each room with flowering plants lined the border. The company had given two rented cars for them. One for Jai and one for any of the others who wanted it. but Bani never gone out. She never came out of her rooms when the others were not in. they have duplicate keys to open the main door. So when others enter Bani just withdraw into her room. She was already stopped communication with Pia after miscarriage.
The routine goes like this. Bani as usual gets up before them make the breakfast with whatever they have and will go back to her room. She still keep the dress for Jai on his extra chair in the room when he is out, she will make the dinner and most of the time for lunch they will be outside, keep the night gown on the bed before they reach back. She also kept the laundered clothes for Pia in her room. But never gave them her face. She only once went out for shopping. She asked the driver whether he knows any book shops. He took her to the Burjuman Centre and she had her shopping very fast, few books and few music CDs and on the way back she got some vegetables and provision for kitchen. She spent all the time while she is around reading doing the small things around at home and listening to the music. she made the food very simple with the limited things available in the kitchen.
Jai was wondering what she is doing all the day. He asked the driver whether he gone any where today only to hear the answer "no". He tried to get some Indian females from his family friends to call her but she never picked up the calls. That he has to tell them she might be gone out for shopping. He was thinking what should he do to save this marriage… he doesn't know. Pia seems to be least interested on her that she completely concentrated on the projects, discussions and meetings.
It was three days before the so said function. The evening when Jai came it was almost 10 at night. He changed into the pyjama and jubbah she kept on the bed and took a bottle from the small fridge inside his room and a glass, went and stood in the balcony. He could see the line of border plants in Bani's room and she was there sitting. He thought why didn't I notice this before, I could have seen her at least. He again started looking to the balcony, the music is playing, some old gazals, but she is sleeping, in the chair, he thought. He just filled the glass many times that then he understood it is winter starting, it will be cold for her staying too much time outside. He went inside and kept the bottle back. He was over drunk. What I will do, he thought. He immediately went out of room and walked to Pia's room.
It was after a small sleep in the balcony Bani awoke hearing some sound. She got up and saw it is over 10.30 now. She thought before Pia sleep she has to give the shopping list for Rano, Rashi and Anu. She came out of the room and walked keeping a cover into which she put the cash for Pia for the shopping and the list and pen on the other hand. She reached the door and heard some sound. It was not closed, just open a little. She considering Pia is alone pushed the door a little… there… what is she seeing… she gone numb for a while… it was like someone had hit her head hardly… the pen fell down… she clutched to the door… there Jai and Pia was in a hug and he was telling her something in her ears… she couldn't believe her eyes… the feelings, emotions, anger … everything enveloped her in a moment… she slammed the door to the wall fully open with bang sound… making both of them separate with shock… Jai was holding his head with a hand, but she didn't notice… she didn't look at him at all… by the time he opened his eyes and came back to the sense there was a big sound of a tight slap … Pia covered her cheek with a hand… her face turned to one side by the force of the slap… she closed her eyes… Bani in her top of her voice, never even looked at Jai, told her…"you are a disgrace to any womanhood… any parents… any family… any husband… " she couldn't say anything more… her breathing was heard loudly with the sheer pain occurred in her seeing that… she stormed out and went inside her room and locked the room.
Jai came to the sense… he couldn't believe that he did such thing… he remember he came to say Pia to go and ask Bani to come inside and sleep.. but this.. with such a dismay in his eyes he looked at Pia who still standing there with blank expression on her face… OMG he ran back Bani… he called "Baneeee" she was already locked inside the room. He knocked .. no reply… he gave up.. went and sat in his bed… he understood gone, everything is gone out of hands… what the hell it really happened ? ohh God, pls help us… let her calm down pls… he knows she is under too much stress and this added the fuel to the fire…
Bani sat on the mat. No tears… it was all empty and black around her… she lost the senses.. she lost the sight.. she didn't know on which she is looking at… she is there sitting on the carpet for an hour now. She thought she was almost going to be separated from him, then why she is sad.. is it Pia is going to get him… jealous… no why I should stop them… I have crossed every limits a man can afford. But what I will do. How can I go and tell him about his own blood line is cheating him. He won't survive… she again kept looking into void…
He kept the door open and lied awake the full night… no she didn't come out. Pia gone at 9 to attend the meeting. He knocked her door at 10 again but there was no reply. He went to balcony, and heard water flowing from the tap into a bucket. He thought atleast she is fine. Thank God. He has to go. He has agreed he will be visiting the Indian Association at 11, then after lunch there he will meet the MD and will attend the discussions about the new developments. He came home again at 9.30 at night and saw light in her room. He went inside his room and saw the dresses are in place as usual. He thought she didn't care it much. He was very much exhausted and fell asleep. He got up in the morning and went to have tea and saw nothing prepared there. He thought she must be sleeping. He saw the light on through the gap under the door. He thought may be she is awake and reading. He waited till 10 no sound. He went dressed inside the kitchen and made a sandwich of bread and butter, he never have such heavy, but then he doesn't know anything else to make, on the way back to his room he noticed the door is locked from outside. OMG. He thought… if she… he went and opened the door… only to see the room is empty… no sign of her or her things…. He ran outside.. asked the driver whether she gone out side, the driver said he didn't see her today at all. He saw Pia is going out but not Bani. He then called the MD of the company. "hello, this is Jai Walia, goodmorning" MD "goodmorning Mr.Walia, I am sorry that your wife had to travel yesterday night itself due to health problem… it is very sad that she couldn't enjoy the stay here" jai is like "what?" but the words didn't come out of his lips. He said thanks and told him that he is also going back and to arrange the tickets for him in the next available flight. He told Pia will represent him on the function. He has to go back. The MD tried his best to stop but failed.
Jai called Aditya and Tarun and told everything. He told them to track Bani down by the time he reach. He is fearing of the worst of her. Aditya consoled him that travel safely after reaching here everything will be fine. Jai entered the hall, everyone was sitting with a blank face. He asked Adi about Bani, he told no whereabouts about her… she landed certainly and gone in a taxi.. she exchanged the money inside the airport. None recognize the taxi she took.
He told in his fragile voice to Massi, everything, what happened the previous night. He told her he didn't do anything wrong with Pia, he was over drunk. He remembers went to her to tell her that Bani is sleeping out and to ask her to come inside and sleep, it was cold out there. Then he told he came into a sense after hearing the door slammed on to the wall and the sound of slapping.. He tried his maximum to talk to Bani but she didn't give him the face… he was crying uncontrollably.. he sat near Massi keeping his head on her shoulder. Massi in an unbelievable shock just sat with teary eyes… everyone was there rooted to the floor.. even Tony had tears that he turned his face fast to the walls. Adi came to Jai and told, Jai we will make her understand, let us find out her first.
He told that he contacted Pushkar also. Jigyasa and Ranveer were on a short visit to their Buaji. (guys I just kept them away) he told he checked every possible place she could have gone. He checked with railway station and with taxi people none recognize her. It is two weeks now, there is no news about her. Jai was like a mad man. Jiggy was very happy. Ohhh. Thank God, my job has reduced.
Jai asked Rano one morning that the lady came for the wedding is from Mt.Abu or not and her where abouts. It stuck her too then. She told that is a big possibility. Aunty Lalitha was a big help till they leave that place. They were staying with her. She was a distant relative of her father. Jai asked her whether she knows her house, she told yes. He immediately ran out taking her hands, he was really mad, without shaving for days, Massi and Adi followed him. Adi told him he shouldn't drive, he is tired. Aditya sat behind the wheel and Jai was all silent but restless till they pulled out in front that house.
Massi got out first. Jai was like fearing to hear the worst clutching his hands to the door handle. Aditya came out also Rano. Hearing the sound of the vehicle Lalitha came out. She was in all shock. But suddenly her face gone all red, in such a rage she lashed out at them… with words… "why did you all come now, to see her dead body? What she done to do this to her. Mr.Walia I thought you are a gentleman till two weeks back. I could never imagine you scoop down to such a low.." Aditya went and told that please, it is all her misunderstanding.. nothing happened… Lalitha looked at him unbelievably… but before she say anything… jai went to her with folded hands and bent to touch her feet… she suddenly stepped back saying.."array, yeah aap kya kar raha hai…Mr.Walia please" he didn't get up until she agreed to hear him once. He explained her what really happened.
She told him that Bani had few weeks before mentioned about her coming back to have the delivery there and asked her to be with her in place of her mom. She told she used to call Bani in every week and knows what is going on there very well…now Massi looked at Adi's face. He came forward to Lalitha and told her "Jai doesn't know anything… Bani is keeping it all confidential till…" he stopped there while jai looked at like what is going on… Adi told the whole story, Massi told him how she got her into confessing about it in his mothers place… he told him that she is doing it fearing that you won't be standing to the truth that Jigyasa and Ranveer is doing this. She didn't want to see you hurt. He shouted back, "didn't want to see me hurt… then what am I going through all these days.. how could she do this to me…"
Lalitha told him that one day she was there with Bani in Pushkar's house, she was there with her nephew who came for job in city. That day a girl called Rashi came there and told Bani about something , some papers. Bani went out immediately and came very late in night. Then she told me that Ranveer has got your signature faked and made the transfer papers of your whole property into his name. Day after that day is the registration, so she went to advocate and came to know that only if there is any claim on your property, they can stop it. So she filed the divorce paper and sent to you, but you didn't believe it. After two days when Ranveer went to registration he came to know that it is on hold. He took revenge on her in front of that crowd. But she left with no option. She said Bani told her that if that happens everyone including Massi and Dadi will have to live a life like hell. So somehow she had to do it.
Jai was fuming with anger. He was walking here and there on the Varanthah . Aditya told Jai, that Tarun and he is trying their best with the help of Pushkar to find out the proof for the signature faking. He told him Ranveer had used a blotting paper and it is missing. They had all the papers which Bani safe guarded for the case from Pushkar and is preparing the whole things. Since Bani doesn't want to give stress to you we thought it is better not to tell you till the last stage. Now that you have been into this stage where we had to tell this. Bani… he looked at Lalitha, where is she?
Lalitha told, Bani came here with bleeding and stomach pain… her pressure level is very bad… she is under observation in ICU that she came home to get fresh and could see them. Jai was like OMG.. he was loudly cursing like how can he ever forgive him for putting her through this much… God help us..like… others were trying to calm him down. Lalitha gave them tea and told by the time you finish I will prepare bani's food and get dressed. They again in the car. In the car, Massi boldly told Jai that "Munna, listen to me. Now that you know all the story. But you have to act as if you don't know anything till the evidents were found. We will talk to Bani too. Both of you should act as if the divorce is on the way" Adi also told him that is very important. He asked jai not to let Bani down and put all her efforts in waste bin… but jai was thinking loudly… "Massi, let them take everything, if Bani is with me, I can work still and earn.. I have kept an amount in your name for a worst time isn't it. We could have lived in mom's place… why she had to take this much pain… " Massi told him that is not enough. When someone behaves so thanklessly to their own blood then there should be a reward for them.
Lalitha told them that Bani told about the accident. She told there is something that Lalitha told her after hearing Bani's decision to leave him. Her parents were not going well before that incident. Her father started drinking and Kiran was hardly managing the house. She fell sick and asked to see a doctor in Bombay. That day they left the kids with me and went to Bombay. He didn't have money. So she decided to go to her home and asked for help but just turned down without any kindness. She collapsed on the road then he went to get someone while the accident happened. He could have kept her aside instead of on the road. To hide his guilt he was accusing Jai of the guilt and finally when himself fell ill he told me all these and asked to find the lawyer to give a letter. He was not ready to face Jai.
Then Aditya told about the attacks on Jai. Bani had told Pushkar that she is going back to Walia Mansion because his life is in danger. The white saree she got was sent by Ranveer. Pushkar and she was continuously following you. Even though you insulted her… he abruptly stopped… well, now Jai you have to listen to us. I have arranged everything, that you ask Ranveer and Rashi to attend the function in Dubai on behalf of you. We need him to be out for a day minimum to find out the evidence. Jai looked at him unbelievable and reminded him Ranveer is his son. Adi told him that that is his biggest pain and shame. He doesn't mind the marriage failed, but this is too much. Aditya told jai that he is arranging visa and all through speed processing and we will do everything to revert the transfer. Till then he has to keep the acting. Jai agreed.
They reached the hospital. Lalitha told them to wait outside that she will make Bani understand first and will call him. She went inside and gave her food. She helped her to bathroom and after that explained the whole thing to her. Bani was like, aunty Pia and Mr.Walia love each other, so why should I stay between them. Lalitha explained what Jai told the all along, that she doesn't believe that he ever loved anyone else than Bani. She told her that please don't hurt him any more , if so she will loose him. She came out. Jai with thundering heart looked at her. Massi told him that Jai you stay , we will make her understand. I will make her understand. Please. He nodded. Massi, Aditya and Rano went inside. Bani gave faint smile to them. Massi asked her why she did this? She could have called her any time that she would have helped her that she never had to travel this long. Bani told her that she never wanted to be back there because… she stopped… Rano in her full voice…"di, will you stop please… enough is enough… do you know mr.walia loves you more than his own life. He never loved pia. He helped her just because she doesn't have anyone else out there. I know how much tears he shed by now. Massi know. We all know except you. You know it but you are acting as if you don't know. Don't be so cruel to him anymore di, he won't stand it. He is already half dead now, after your missing." Massi told her what Jai told them in the car. She told her that for him more than her nothing is important. Aditya told her that he had arranged everything to revert the transfer and they are picking up the evidences. So for couple of day they both have to act as if the divorce is on the way. She nodded. Massi told her she will call Jai now… Bani looked shocked "he is here?" Massi told her "he left Dubai after you left and reached in the next flight. Till now he had not spent a monet in peace. Please don't hurt him anymore."
They all walked out, Bani was like she is going to faint at any time. she clutched her hands on both sides of the bed and closed her eyes tight. She heard the steps near her. Someone closed the door. She opened the eyes, unable to look at him, she raised the eyes half way up till his stomach and saw that he is wearing a loose shirt not his usual blazer. Tears were welling up, she looked up to his eyes somehow, which are also teary. He came more close that she tried to get up… but he held her on the shoulders and helped to adjust the pillow behind her to support her back. Her lips were trembling, she couldn't raise her head. She held her hands together as if to ask forgiveness and bent to touch her knees holding on the bed side. He suddenly held her and kept her straight. Still no words are out. He just staring… she looked up with tears flowing through her cheeks, she moved a little giving him room to sit on the bed… he slowly sat near her…. Touched her cheeks with his fingers… raised her chin with his middle fingers… he "Banee" she didn't look at him, still closed eyes… "Banee, look at me, please" in a soft sound… wet with tears and she was trying hard not to break down. But failed , she holding her hands on the bed sheets tightly started crying uncontrollably…"Banee, me and Pia, uff…, there is nothing.." She stopped him with her fingers and just fell into his chest. He held her tight. He with all his feeling flowing out… every emotions he suppressed inside him was coming out… crying silently… kissed her head, forehead, cheeks .. he told her, without her why he need money and house… she held him tight.. he again raised her head and looked into her eyes… wet with tears…yet shining with whole world's love… he saw that helpless notion… the lost look in those eyes… it was enough for him… he knows what those eyes talking always… she needn't to spell a word… she looked into his eyes… lips… touched his beard… they were together but never been together like this… they spent a night…but never been in an accepted way… he pulled her to his chest again.. she wrapped her hands around him..placed her head above his heart… on that feeling of the pleasure he closed his eyes and bent his head back… is it true…OMG.. please bless us… we can't take it any more…please… he pulled back… looked into her face again… as if he never want to stop it… eyes were rounded with black tired circles… it gone inside two holes now… pale.. skinny and seems had not brushed her hair in the near future… it all went with knots in it.. he slowly cared her hair, she kept looking down… he card her cheeks… planted so many soft kisses on forehead and head.. after a while he again pulled back… told her she needs to lay down.. he saw that lost look in her eyes again.. he understood… he smiled… he told he is not leaving her… she, half willing obeyed him… he keeping his right hand on the other side of the bed, bent over her, keeping her right hand in his left hands… entwined with his fingers… how he wanted to be near her.. how she wanted to be in his arms… the warmth of his chest… she took her hands from his and placed it over his heart… he closed his eyes… she too closed her eyes feeling that beating… she knows that rhythm even though he never held her… true… he never held her like that… he was thinking the same… he bent down… kissed her forehead, cheeks… touched his nose with her nose… touched her forehead with his… ouch… she sounded… he smiled… sorry.. it is ok,,, she wrapped her hands about his waste.. he saw how thin it is…when is he going to see the old charming Bani again… who like a chirping bird running all over the house and taking care of the jobs… who put her nose in all things including the unnecessary things… she squeezed his fingers as if she read his minds.. she brought her hands up to touch his cheek…
Nurse came in, told that the ambulance is on the way, she looked at him, he told her we are going to Bombay that he can't live her here… they had to be back there to tackle Ranveer down too… she nodded… the nurse told him to wait outside that she has to get her dressed… that lost look in her eyes…she doesn't want him to go… he smiled…told her will be here out… she nodded… looked on the face of the nurse as school student looking sullenly. He walked out…
Bombay hospital… she was admitted in the same room where she was taken after the bomb attack… the place where jai cried uncontrollably thinking about his fate not being let to be with his child and its mother… the same hospital where he for the first time felt he is alive and he is living…
Jai visited her two times a day… avoiding others noticing… Aditya was guiding Sahil and Pushkar to how to track Ranveer… He got his private inttelligents men tracked down the whereabouts of saree purchase… Tarun mean while collected the details of the transfer deals… Jai kept quiet all the while monitoring the progress without involving directly that Jiggy didn't get a clue at all. She was not aware that Bani is in city… Rano was only visiting her briefly because Lalitha was there full time to avoid any news. The day Ranveer left Aditya called Jai to office.
He told jai that he couldn't find anything in Ranveer's room at home or in office. Aditya, Tarun, Sahil and Pushkar were waiting him in office and he asked Jai whether he remember who took the papers to him… Jai told he signed a paper which Rano brought, other than that he doesn't remember… they all taken back… Tarun was OMG… he played a dirty game, Jai… they set out to search her cabin… exactly… it was there in her drawer… Tarun told not to touch it… he suddenly called Police commissioner who is his relative, asked him there is an urgent matter, please come to the spot with someone to help.
The commissioner entered the premises with two in muftis. He listened to the whole story explained by Jai and asked the assistants to take the bloating paper in a cover with gloves on. Tarun went to his car and bought all the papers that got signatures of Jai in it… he had collected it from the advocate saying that he is given the job by Jai itself.. Jai also called him and told. The job was given in the name of Walia group so that there is not a matter of cheating as long as it is Jai who is requesting… they have told that they kept the matter that Ranveer is out of country from the lawyer.. knowing about the divorce he gave the papers to Tarun without any hesitation. The commissioner asked the assistants to contact the forensic dept immediately and ask them to verify it in no time, that he needs the result before next office hours.. he knows the news will leak out somehow… he then said Tarun that they will try to get emergency hearing from the sitting judge and get Ranveer arrested on his arrival at airport… giving the matter that he is able to danger jai's life they have to do that.
Sahil was tensed.. he asked the commissioner about Rano's involvement. Then only it stuck all. The commissioner told him that he will verify her finger prints too.. and most possible they can prove it the internal papers got no finger prints matching hers. Sahil was very tensed… Aditya patted on his back… don't worry…
What they thought were exactly correct. The signatures inside pages were done with bloating papers… the handwriting expert had given a certificate that the sign in the front page done by a different person and not the same person who signed those in the other papers. Which was the dead end proof against Ranveer, because it was proved that it is his finger prints all over the papers and in the bloating paper. Rano's finger prints were there too only on the front page and the back of the last page which prove that she only carried the papers to Jai. They had filed the case and the judge ordered to hold the transfer of property… and to arrest Ranveer on his arrival. Tarun arranged an advance bail for Rano incase she is to be arrested. Till the case verdict comes it is needed.
Jai, Aditya and Tarun went to hospital and told Bani about the new developments. They told her now she need not to fear that Jai will loose the money. She looked at him, he smiled. But, Aditya pushed Tarun to front and Tarun brought out a paper and showed her. She looked at it and back to Jai, Jai nodded, it was the request to withdraw the divorce case. Her face flushed with shyness that the others started to tease her. Aditya told her now we can go home peacefully if doctor allows. He turned to walk out when Rano and Sahil came. Rano was bit worried, it was obvious … bani asked her what is the matter… she told nothing… that there was lots of work in the office since all others were not available… Sahil looked at Jai… he knows that if he says about Rano's involvement then she will get stressed..
The doctor and nurses came…she told Bani still got bleeding that she need to be observed for a day more… jai nodded ok… now he is not worried… he can stay… he told Sahil to take Lalitha home and let her take some rest that he is going to stay… he told ok. They were taking while Rashi came inside… Rashi…. What the hell… Bani looked worried… she thought Rashi and Ranveer is in Dubai… then Jai told her about his arrest in airport and the police had taken Jiggy also in custody for questioning… Rashi came near her and said… she is so happy that Bani got her life back… but she was trying hard to hide her tears… but she somehow managed when Rano put a hand over her shoulder… Aditya told Jai that, bani was correct when she accused Ranveer of manhandling her… he was torturing her.. but the most painful thing was that he married her only for anu… their marriage ended up only in the papers… they never lived together.. he turned to tarun and told him… you have no luck… you have to take another divorce case from walia family… Rashi looked down… Aditya told him, my daughter's divorce, he held Rashi's shoulder… told she is my daughter like Bani she too helped to bring our lives back…. I am going to find a future for her …as for our own girl…
Hearing a noise from the door they all looked back and saw Pia… standing near the door.. Bani looked away from her as soon as she saw her… everyone moved away giving way to Pia… she came near to Bani and called her … bani didn't look back… jai was fuming inside… he somehow felt that whenever pia come something horrible thing will happen in his life… he looked to the other side of the wall… pia told bani, "please di. Forgive me… I didn't think…." Bani blasted back… "you didn't think… was there any time in your thoughts we were alive.. with feelings and flesh… did u ever understand that we liked to live a straight life… I have been witnessing the pain you caused in Mr.Walia and I had been through enough to bring him back to the life… then I saw how destroyed Pushkar's life… you mess up with any men in the world no Mr.Walia… not because I love him… he deserve a better life… I will be worst one if you ever dare to put your dirty hands on him to make his life a hell… I warn you… now you please go and don't try to come and talk to me.. you can stay wherever you want.. don't try to talk to me… " she turned her face away… Pia "di, you are right… mr.walia told "I love you" but just follwed by "Bani"" , bani looked back at her. Pia "di, I couldn't say anthing because by the time you came inside, I am sorry di.." bani again turned her face away showing her hands to stop. Rashi placed a hand over Pia and told let us go home Pia. They both turned and walked out. Aditya also walked out. Immeditely Bani clutched her two hands to her stomach and started twirling in the bed with sever pain… she thrown her legs alternatively.. bent her back like an arc… Rano cried loudly "Diiiii" Jai pressed the alarm bell, kept on pressed on it.. the doctors and nurses all came running in..
