So sorry for taking so long to update. I know I had promised to give double updates as it was spring break but ended up not even updating once. It's been one thing after another the whole week and had no chance to update.
Had a really bad night so this update is really short. I promise, the next will be longer.
I would like to dedicate this update to Pushpinder. This is for you p, without your encouragement, I don't think I would've even been able to update tonight! I hope you like it.
Also, I have asked a few people this and would like to know all your opinion. How would you like it if I wrote a thanksgiving update for JB? I plan on writing one for AR but was thinking of writing for JB as well. I know Thanksgiving is not celebrated in India but its for the story purposes anyways. So please do let me know either by leaving a comment or by PM!
Hope you enjoy the really crappy update! Hope I don't get any jhootas or belans for this update. I seriously believe this is one of my most crappiest update ever. I promise to write a better and longer one next time!
Happy Reading!

Chapter 101
Jai, Bani and Rohit headed over to the Youth Center, leaving Roshni standing there speechless. She couldn't believe it, her plan had backfired once again. 'What did Bani mean by explosive?' Roshni thought. Was Arun right when he said that there was nothing that could separate Jai and Bani? How can Jai believe Bani over her? She'd known him for over a decade. She'd never seen Jai look at anyone the way he looked at Bani. He never even looked at her when they were together. Roshni was fuming in anger. How dare Bani ask her to join the party? She wasn't going to join any kiddies' party.
-----------------
Jai walked into the Youth Center with Bani to have all eyes on him. He was a bit embarrassed having the kids see him dress up. Sahil being Sahil started to whistle when he saw Jai and Bani.
"Wah mamaji, never thought you'd dress up." Sahil teased as Jai glared at him.
"Sahil, leave mamaji along. I think he looks very sexy in that outfit, what say Bani di?" Anu teased as the rest laughed.
"Pyar kiya hai to nibhana toh padega" Yukti said as she laughed. She knew how much Jai had dressing up for Halloween. While, Arun, Tarun, and Anjali always dressed up along with her for Halloween during college, Jai never did. He was never the one to believe in Halloween. The only reason he had the parties at the Youth Center was because of the kids. Jai always said he didn't need to go begging for candy door-to-door, he'd go buy it from the store instead.
Yukti turned to Tarun, who had his arms around her, also laughing. "Tarun, learn something from him jaan."
"Wh…what do you mean?" Tarun asked
"Look at him, Bani ke kehne par Jai has dressed up. Tum toh kabhi bhi aisa mat karo mere liye."
Instead of answering back to Yukti, he looked at Jai mock annoyed and said "Did you hear that? Teri wajah se aaj meri biwi mere se ladne lagi hai. Kaisa dost hai tu? Jab se Bani mili hai…tu toh sahi ka badal gaya hai. Aab meri shaadi shuda Zindagi mein bhi khatra daal raha hai teri wajah se."
Yukti, Rano, Anu and Raashi laughed as all the guys started to complain about Jai being too loving and giving in to Bani too easily.
Bani and Jai looked at each other all embarrassed. Jai grinned when he saw Bani all red. He put his hands around her as she tried to hide herself in his big frame. The teasing went on for a while before they all decided to play some Halloween games.
The first game the kids started with was the Mystery Message. The older kids had prepared brown paper bags with goodies in them. On the outside of each bag, there was a word written out with either one or two letter missing. Whoever solved the word first, got the bag, however, they were not allowed to open the bag until everyone was done. Once all the kids had won the bags, Raashi asked them to put their bags on a table creating a message. The winners of the bags were not allowed to participate in the second part as they all had won something in round one. Rest of the kids tried to figure out the message and whoever got it right got a huge gift hamper with lots of candy and other goodies in it.
Next the kids played Pumpkin Leg Toss. Each kid had a partner and they all kicked the pumpkins with their legs to get to the finish line without using their hands. The team that made it to the finish line first won tickets to a water park.
Jai and Bani enjoyed watching the kids play the games. Bani was so excited to see all the kids having so much fun. She couldn't remember ever having this much fun during Halloween.
Once the games were over, Rohit put on some good music so everyone can get back into the whole dancing, singing along moods. All the couples got back with each other to dance.
Jai was mesmerized by Bani's beauty. Even in western clothes, she looked so beautiful. He wasn't sure what she didn't look beautiful in. Even though he loved Bani and was definitely enjoying looking at her in the black outfit, he wished he was only dressed like that in the house for him. Definitely not something he wanted other guys to look at.
"You look so beautiful tonight. Can't we just go home now?" Jai whispered in her ear as he held her close.
"You don't look so bad yourself. I have to admit, you look super sexy in the cop outfit. Maybe you should join the force, huh?" Bani said as she winked at him.
Jai laughed as he heard her. She was something. She was sure to kill him soon.
"You know angel, you're really no angel. If people really heard you talking like this, they'd be wondering where the sweet, innocent Bani comes from. If I join the force, will I get to arrest you every day?"
Now it was Bani's turn to laugh. "Depends if you're a good cop and if you get to the right place at the right time."
"Baniiii"
"What? I didn't say anything."
"Haan haan tum toh kuch karti hi nahi. Mujhe marne ka irada hai kya?"
"Marne ka nahi, pyaar karne ka"
"I think it's time to go home now." Jai said as he frowned. This was killing him. And he still had more than a month before the wedding. How was he going to survive, he had no idea.
"We can't leave yet. We have to make sure all the kids leave and this place is cleaned up before we head out. Why are you in such a hurry?"
"The place will be cleaned by the night maintenance people. And I think it's getting a little too hot in here, don't you think?" Jai said as he touched his forehead with hers and then kissed her nose.
Both continued to dance and talk until the parents started to arrive to pick up their kids before heading out themselves.
----------------
After parking the car in front of Walia Mansion, both Jai and Bani got out to the car to walk over to Bani's house, next door. It had become a habit of Jais' now, after coming home, he'd walk over to her house to spend time with her and do his work there. Bani was so used to having him there every night, it was like a ritual having him there for dinner, helping him with files, going over plans for Youth Center, then watching him back home. Mostly, Jai would walk out the door and call her on the phone and didn't hang up until they were both in bed or one of them had fallen asleep.
Every morning, Jai walked over to meet Bani for the morning run. Even though Jai had breakfast with his family, he made sure to have at least a cup of coffee or tea with Bani after the run. Both enjoyed going running in the morning, talking about the days' plan and discussing wedding plans.
Both couldn't imagine living without each other for even a day. Bani had found out how miserable Jai was when she had gone to NY with the girls. She laughed at all the stories Adi and Ranveer had told her about regarding what Jai would lose his temper over little things at the office, wouldn't give anyone a chance to explain anything. Ranveer told Bani about having heard some of the girls at the office talking about how they couldn't wait till she got back as the boss was making their life a living hell. Of course, Jai tried to protest that it wasn't true even though he knew he was guilty.
To be continued…
