Work load is really piling up so I'm taking a small break from I-F to get on top of things........this part will have to do till then!😉

Jai Walia looked up from the file he had been reading and stood up…there was a small smile on his face but his eyes were hard…

J: Good to see you again…Miss. Dixit…

Jai watched amused as Bani immediately tensed up, her face stunned…he glanced over body, noting the bare feet…the wet kameez clinging to her skin and outlining her waist…locks of wet hair falling on her shoulders framing her face – exactly how he remembered it…

She was still beautiful, though he immediately noticed that she looked tired, her skin was pale, though maybe that was due to the shock of seeing him again…he nursed the thought – chuckling to himself…a drop of water on her exposed skin caught his attention and he watched carefully as it slowly slid down the column of her neck, before disappearing under her kameez…

Bani seemed to notice his gaze and immediately turned so that she was standing sideways…

Sameer looked from Bani, to Jai Walia, and then back again…he cleared his throat nervously in an attempt to catch their attention…

S: Umm…do you…do you two know each other?!

Jai kept his gaze fixed on Bani, not once letting it wander…

J: We…worked together for sometime…

Sameer smiled and nodded…

S: It's always good to work with someone you know…right Bani?!

She nodded half-heartedly, keeping her gaze firmly fixed to the floor…

S: Well I guess I should go…Bani, Mr. Walia will be working with you in your cabin…it seemed the best decision seeing as you're handling the new project and it would also help Mr. Walia to work with you on closer quarters…

Smiling once again, he turned round and left, shutting the door closely behind him…

Bani felt her heart beating wildly against her chest…it had been a long time since they had been in the same room, alone…feeling as if she could collapse any minute, Bani made her way to her desk and sat down…her hands were shaking and she could feel his eyes watching her every movement…finally Jai sat down opposite her and watched as she buried her fingers amidst her hair…

Taking a deep breath, she finally looked up and her eyes locked with Jai's…old memories came rushing back to her and her eyes became moist – why did he still have this affect on her?!…she cursed herself and stood up abruptly…

B: Well Mr. Walia…first of all I'd like to say how happy I am to know that you have joined in a partnership with Oberoi chain of hotels…as for this project I think that we can…

Jai watched amused as Bani rambled on…there was a smile fixed on her lips, but he could see straight through it – she was nervous, and afraid…

B: All the details for this are in here…

Bani took a step towards her coffee table to pick up the file containing the project details but froze as she felt Jai clasp her wrist…it was like being hit by lightning, and Bani shivered at his touch…she heard Jai's footsteps and in a few seconds he was standing in front of her, his piercing gaze making her even more nervous…she couldn't deal with this now – not now, not after two years!

J: Bani…look at me…

She didn't…instead she turned her face the other way and bit her lip as she felt his grip tighten on her wrist…but Jai was adamant, and in one quick movement he placed his other hand on her cheek and steered her face towards his own until he had a clear view of her light brown eyes…

B: Why?!…Why have you come here?!

J: I've been looking for you everywhere Bani…and when I saw you at that engagement party last week…

Bani closed her eyes…so he had seen her…

J: You have no idea what that felt like Bani…seeing you after so long…

Bani smirked, giving him a cold look…she cut him short with a bitter tone…

B: why Mr. Walia did your darling Roshni leave you?!

Jai sighed in exasperation and placed his hands on her shoulders…but Bani couldn't control her anger any longer and shrugged him off…

B: Stop it Jai!…just put a end to this lie!!!…Especially as I know the truth!!…I know you don't love me…I wonder if there was even any love?!…for you it's always been Roshni…why?!!….why did you play with me, my heart?…God knows how many times you lied to me and took Roshni to bed behind my back…

J: BANI!

He had so far stood and listened to her silently, but now his anger matched hers and not being a very patient man, he couldn't control it any longer…grabbing her by the arms he pulled her sharply so that her hands landed on his chest and her face was inches away from her own…

J: What did you say?!…That me and Roshni…

He looked disgusted and Bani attempted to free herself from his hold in vain…

J: Listen to me Bani…listen!

He shook her hard and her breath caught in her throat as she realised how close she was to him…the tip of his nose almost touched hers and she froze as his grip tightened, and his eyes became softer…

J: I've only loved one person Bani…and that is you…I don't know how you got the feeling that me and Roshni were anything other than friends but…

He sighed…there was so much more he wanted to say to her, but he just couldn't put it into words…he looked at her face and realised she didn't seem to have heard a word…

Her eyes were watching him with a frightened expression…her wet hair was falling across her cheek and her lips…not being to control his urge any longer, Jai swooped down and captured Bani's lips in a soft kiss…

Bani stood there frozen, to shocked to respond…she didn't return the kiss, but didn't push him of either…somewhere in the back of her brain a voice was telling her to stop…but unwillingly she felt her muscles relax and before long she was lost in the same love as Jai…

N: Hey B, could you…Oh!

Jai and Bani sprang apart at the sound of Neha's voice…Jai straightened his jacket and looked as if he'd just been discussing the weather, where as Bani was aware of her flushed cheeks…

Looking towards Neha she saw that her friend had childishly covered her eyes with her hand, but Bani knew Neha was looking through the gaps in her fingers…

B: Umm….Neha…did you, want anything?!

Neha slowly but her hand down and tried to stop the smile from spreading over her face…

N: Umm….I just wanted to borrow your stapler…but if you're busy, I could always come back later…

She looked sideways at Bani who refused to make eye-contact…surprisingly, it was Jai who spoke…

J: There's no need for that…I was just about to leave…Miss. Dixit…

Bani looked up at his change of tone…

J: I expect to meet you at 7:00 to discuss the details of this project as I'm already running late for a very important meeting…

Bani looked at him shocked…

B: But…but the office closes at 6:30…

J: I know Miss. Dixit but I think this project is far more important…and as for office working hours, I've heard that you work until the early hours of the morning…and besides, you were late by quite some time…7:00 o'clock sharp Miss. Dixt!

Giving Neha a very formal nod, he left Bani's cabin leaving her fuming…as soon as he was out of earshot, Neha bounced over to her and screamed in delight…

N: OMG bani…who was he?!

Bani felt her anger rising up again…partly at Jai, but also at herself for giving in to him…

B: He's a very arrogant, self - centred man!
