PRACHIS B-DAY BASH-----A SUPRISETO REMEMBER!

Entering the well lit room expecting to see a surprise, she is met with
disappointment instead as no one even acknowledges her presence.
Walking further deeper into the room, passing smiles to all fellow
companions yet receiving none herself…..what was going on??
Had everyone forgotten today, her most favored day from them all….her
birthday. How could they though, she remembered telling them when she
had
first joined the Kasamh se unit.
She goes over to the sofa and sits down upon it allowing complete
disappointment to fuel through her body. Yet then once again it fuses
with a
sudden light and smile as she hears a familiar voice, a voice that she
had
not heard in a very long time. Looking up meeting their eyes her own
twinkle
and shine, she jumps up and goes straight into their arms laughing as
never
before just unable to disguise her glee.
Both girls squealed and one kept ushering and shouting "HAPPY
BIRTHDAY".
It was one of her closest friends, she had not been expecting this….how
did
they enter…..but did that really matter, no not really.
She caught up on all missing banter that had been missed for the past
few
months, extracting every minute detail possible just actually wanting
to
know all.

Hours past and the day went on as normal, yet no one had wished her,
only
the normal teasing and jokes occurred from her fellow co-stars but
nothing
more…..
Trying to hide all disappointment she turned to leave for her given
destination for her next shoot but was immediately stopped in her
tracks by
her mother.
"Prachi, where are you going so late without telling me?"
Confused by her mother's question, didn't she know that she was going
to her
given destination for her shoot? She opened her mouth to speak but was
immediately ushered shut as her mother spoke over….
"Prachi, the place of the shoot has been changed….its here now"
Indicating
to the address in her hand.
Taking it from her mother's hand she squinted at the faint scribble
trying
to make out all words yet failing miserably. Looking back at her mother
once
more, she shrugged her shoulders in confusion turning around only to
ask
some of her fellow colleagues as to why the sudden change in
destination.
She is met with a shock as they are not there, but hadn't they just
been
sitting there 20 minutes ago? Once more confusion clouds her mind but
she
shrugs it off telling her mother to come with her as she makes her way
to
her assigned destination.

Sitting in the car being driven to a place she had not even heard of
she
recounts her entire day. No one had wished her a happy birthday besides
her
parents, sister and a few close friends.
Feeling hurt at being forgotten she decides to vent off all anger in
her
next scene of "shouting". She gets down from the car, her mother ushers
her
out, as it stops in front of a huge house. Confused once again at its
mysterious air she walks into it only to find it completely deserted.
Turning around to ask her mother whether if she had gotten the right
address
but only to receive a shock as her mother is no where to be found.
Frightened now, she runs out of the house, only to see her driver zoom
off
into the darkness leaving her screaming behind.
She, now having no choice but to once again set foot in the looming
darkness
of the deserted house…. only to search in vain for her mother….
She grunts on the inside, so far this had been the worst birthday ever.
Her eyes wonder once more trying to adjust to the ever lasting night,
she
spots a faint glimmer of light in the corner.
She shivers, yet then thinks it to be her mother….she shouts "Maa".
Running
towards the now fading light she enters another room only to see the
light
go out and to hear a huge BOOM.

The lights turn on to see the whole room and house disguised as a
castle.
The walls have been draped in medieval cloth followed by teddy bears
surrounding the room and finally high above her crouched figure there
is a
huge banner saying "Happy birthday Prachi".

Yet she does not notice this being all crouched. She only after hearing
applause dares to raise her head to the amazing sight that beholds her
eyes.
A mischievous smile appears upon her lips as she regards everything.
She
laughs as sprinkles of glitter dust rain down upon her immersing her in
a
faint shiny glow.
All her co-stars surround, along with her closest friends and family.
She
jumps about in total glee still totally shocked by her surroundings.
She receives many hugs and is showered with a bundle of presents. Her
eyes
smile accepting all that is offered.
Her sister comes up to her laughing and just shaking her head muttering
"Did
you really think that they would really forget your birthday, Prachi
they
have been planning this since August!!"
She laughs at her own silly mistake smiling once more and shouting her
thanks….but the surprise is still not over.
Blindfolded she is taken somewhere where a song from the movie Kalyug
starts
off and she hears an all to familiar voice, unable to disguise the
faint
shimmer of a smile that rests upon her lips.
Her blindfold is removed only to reveal her all time favorite Kunal
Khemu
dancing to one of the songs of Kalyug and shouting HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

She smiles and claps ah looked like this was shaping up to be her best
birthday….how could she have ever thought of it as her worst??

Yet the night not over a huge birthday cake is ushered in and a bunch
of 18
candles are sitting alight upon it. Someone breaks out in the "Happy
birthday to you" song which is followed by many other voices. Once the
last
words are sung she happily blows out her candles immersing them once
more in
darkness. Yet then the lights go on and the cake is cut and fed to
everyone.
She smiles shoving countless amounts of cake into her fellow co-stars
mouth….stuffing them to no end, leaving them no space to even talk…
Dance and music is immediately followed as many finally get the party
started.

She sighs as she sways with the beat of the music surrounded by many,
mostly
her friends, and thinks once more at what a wonderful day it had been
after
all…..as she had finally gotten her just deserts…namely her surprise
birthday bash followed by a large amount of presents.
Today would be one day she would never ever forget.
Today would be a suprise that she would never forget!
