Cannot touch, Cannot hold, Cannot be together
Cannot love, Cannot kiss, Cannot love each other
Must be strong and we must let go
Cannot say what our hearts must know
How can I not love you
What do I tell my heart
When do I not want you here in my arms
How does one walks away
From all of the memories
How do I not miss you when you are gone
Cannot dream, Cannot share sweet and tender moments
Cannot feel how we feel, Must pretend its over
Must be brave and we must go on, Must not say
What we've known all along
How can I not love you
What do I tell my heart
When do I not want you here in my arms
How does one walks away
From all of the memories
How do I not miss you when you are gone
How can I not love you
Must be brave and we must be strong
Cannot say what we've known all along
How can I not love you
What do I tell my heart
When do I not want you here in my arms
How does one walks away
From all of the memories
How do I not miss you when you are gone
How can I not love you
When you are gone …

So, finally the chink in the armour has started showing and Jai, probably for the first time, is losing his faith on Bani, not faith perhaps, but is regretting their marriage. This is what I didn't want him to do, but alas! If wishes were horses! I pray to God that let me be more than 100% wrong, I won't mind being wrong this time.
And Bani, good Lord, She is in a Zugzwang situation. Zugzwang refers to a particular type of move in chess where a participant makes a wrong move so that the play tilts in favour of the other player – and this is exactly what Bani has done today. She killed all her chances of ever being with Jai and the most heart-rending fact is that she knows it like a T. As I have mentioned before, it would have been the easiest way for her to rush into her husband's arms and make him lose anything. This is a serial and we are definitely not looking for real-life logic over here. We have to take it for granted that there is no other way for Jai to save his property and life until and unless he gives a divorce to Bani along with other compensations, alimony and other stuff. Because if we believe in Bani, it means that Jai is definitely in trouble. We may not agree with Bani's method, but we surely do agree with her intentions. And she is just trying to help him out though she very well knows what the future holds for them. It is also sob-wracking that at this precious moment of life, when she is to become a mother, she cannot share her joys and feelings with Jai.
Have thought many times why do we feel like this for JnB? Why is it that this relationship is so important for us? Simply because in a cruel, mechanized world, where the meaning of love is more or less chained to the bars, we have had a chance to see the blossoming of pure, innocent, unadulterated love – a love whose basis is not founded on any scheming machinations but has been the result of a continuous, gradual budding process. We simply cannot bear to see this relationship die – so many things have been lost in the struggle for existence that now we do not want this unsullied love to lose, whatever may come in the path.
Jai is caught in a Catch-22 situation, neither can he stay with his wife nor can he stay away from her. I am so sad for him. Today the woman he loves more than his own life has snubbed him badly. Today, he got the worst shock in his life when he asks Bani to accompany him to his mother's barsi the next day, only to be told by her that going to his mother's barsi would be an insult to her mother's death, in which Jai had a hand. Jai's eyes steels on hearing this and for the first time he brings up his childhood issues, stating that the loss of his mother at an early age had also played havoc with his life and he had to grow up much earlier than it was intended to be. He tells Bani that he asked her to accompany him since he thought that whatever the reason may be for a person's death, the hurt that death associates with for the close ones who are left behind after their departure is always the same. A very beautiful dialogue with a lot of loaded meanings. And then comes the part we have been dreading for so long – Jai actually tells Bani that all these days he had always acquiesced to what she did, never hating her and allowing her to act according to her wishes, but today what she said had actually hurt him badly. Probably this was the first time he regretted that Bani was his wife. All the air whooshed out of my lungs when he said that. I know he is badly hurt (I would be if I was in his place) but I think this has more to do with the stupid idea of inserting unwanted relationship tussles in the serial and turning Bani into a confirmed moron.
The truth is that Bani knows very well that Jai doesn't buy that idea at all that she hates him, which at this moment is suicidal for the divorce to go through. So she has taken resort to the other way, that of going to such an extreme that would make it easier for Jai to hate her. Possibly, this would also allow her to get her divorce soon so that the entire matter maybe solved soon. She's still thinking about him all the while, and this is the irony of the situation.
Jigs has become the Official Vamp of the Walia House since Roshni is missing from the scene. It appears that there is another house that belongs to Jai and Jigs, their mother's house, and the funniest part is that Baani also knows about the house. Bani has been visiting the house regularly for quite some time, as Bani's driver informs Jigyaasa. Jigs is curiosity personified and she tries desperately to see the files that the driver has left behind for Bani in the hall. She manages to see them and finds them to be files containing papers of their old house, along with floor plans etc. She goes directly to Mausi and tells her of Bani's plan to include that house also in the divorce claims and if that happens, Jai will actually be left with nothing. He will come down to the streets and that Bani was doing all these to take revenge on Jai for destroying their Mt. Abu home. Some more play-acting by Jigs and Mausi is convinced of Bani's incongruous behaviour and promises Jigs that whatever happens, she will not let Bani take over that house. Jigs is of course elated.
After Jai's and Bani's fiasco at night, it is shown that all family members are getting ready to leave for the old house where the puja will be held. Aditya asks Rano about Bani who tells him that she is not in the house since morning. Meanwhile, Jai coming down from the stairs, tells the members that if Bani wants, she can join them all later in the house. Everybody is surprised.
Bani is already in that old house offering flowers to Jai's deceased mother. She begs for her forgiveness and rues her chance of not meeting her and says that she believes that Jai's mom must have been a very good person, because God always tends to take away those people who are dearer to him. She also requests her to ensure that Jai receives all the happiness in the world always, and once when she has gone away with her child to some far-flung place, probably he would come to know the real reason and forgive her. She receives a call on her mobile. The speaker on the other end says something and Bani is stumped.
Initially there was a scene where Pia visits Pushkar to enquire as to what Bani was doing at the Office so late at night? She says that she couldn't ask Bani who was still not talking to her (is it so? I thought they already had that bonding session the previous day) and she needed to know the truth. Pushkar snubs her pretty badly stating that he is happy to see that the girl who doesn't care about her child and her husband, is concerned about her sister. He goes on to say that everything was a big mistake and that there is no place for a selfish girl like her in his life. I liked what he said immensely but I am afraid of the repercussions actually.
Everybody was good today though I seriously hope that this character assassinations would stop. I know that meri pitayi hone wali hai, but I am sad that Jai's feelings and emotions has started altering so early. I know what Bani said was not correct and no hot-blooded male would digest any comment about their mother, but wasn't he who said that he can read Bani's eyes and find out that she is helplessly trying to hide the truth? The creatives are again playing hell with the character because they want a change in the future script and intend to throw J-P together. I believe that RK was passing the correct info to us, but somehow I don't believe the Ektas.
Question : What do you think will happen after this? Will Jai start hating Bani or will he try unsuccessfully to hate her? And what do you think will be the impact on Jai when he comes to know about the truth?
The Armageddon is right under our nose, dears 😡
