Not moved to Hyderabad as yet. I've been there of course. But I don't think it could beat Delhi. Delhi is a bindas city with a bindas lifestyle. Hyd is quite modern but South is so kind of rigid and restricting when compared to the North.

A glass painting of Shri Ram praying to Lord Eesh-basically a replica of the Rameshwaram diety.

A Date To Remember – starring Mrs. Mini and Mr. Walia!😉

It's a dark moonlit night. Mr.Walia storms out of Walia house after a particularly violent disagreement with his wife. Eyes full of tears, breast filled with angst, hurt and disappointment and a little bit of anger, he just continues walking not knowing where. A little later he comes across a lady standing under a lamp post. She is all alone and looks pertified. Mr.Walia approaches her and enquires politely "Ji..aapke saath koi hai- akeli hain? Kya main aapki koi madat kar saktha hoon?" The lady looks at him with her large tear filled eyes and wonders if this gentlemen can be trusted? She runs a quick eye over him and instantly decides that she will trust him. After the fight with her husband after all the disgusting things he said to her.. ..she swallows her tears and says "Ji main akeli hoon. Mera naam Mini hai pyar se log mujhe mink kehthe hain." 'Mini ji.. .." "MINK" the lady snaps. "Mink" the man smiles"Mink, mujhe Jai Walai kehthe hain. Aap bahut khoobsurat hain!" Mink finds something happening to her, like a huge balloon swelling inside her and feels herself blushing furiously like a school girl "Ji.. ji who actually..actually mere hudband ke saath mera jaghda ho gaye hai aur.. .." she blurts. Mr.Walia laughs and tells her they are in the same boat and looking at her, he offers his hand "Mink raat bahut ho chuki hai and I am sure aap bhi meri tarah bookhi hain. Aur is waqt hum donon ke liye ghar jana teekh nahinhoga. Tho, kya aap meri saath ek date par chalengi? A date with an ajnabi? Hoe about it Mink?" He winks. Mink is just bowled over by his charm.Mesmerised she nods and allows him to lead her to where ever he wishes to. Hand in hand they reach a dhaba and Mr. Walia tells her "Ye bahut achcha dhabaha hai Mink. Yahan log badi badi gadiyon me ate hain. In fact mera butler Tony aur uski girlfriend;Raaga yahan aksar ate hain. And both of them have got great taste you know!" Mink can only smile. They enter the dhabha and they are immediately made at home. Coir khatiya, food in earthenware,bhangra music in the background, lantern lamps, awesome Punjabi fare – all the more better because of the charming company! Mink is overwhelmed by his attentions his gallantry and can not take her eyes off him. They dance and she tells him all about the fight with her husband"You know Mr.Walia, right now I am feeling sorry. Maybe I shouldn't have .. .." He shakes his head"Love means never having to say you are sorry, Mink. Remember that!" Mink is only further impressed and thinks his wife must be one lucky woman in the world!

But all good things must come to an end. As they finish their Lassi and he pays their bill, they look at each other. And suddenly the magic disappears as it strikes them that it is time to get back to their real world. 'Where can I drop you?" he asks with moist eyes. "No thanks. I'll find my way." She says brokenly. He nods but doesn't leave her. Wordlessly, they walk back to the lamp post under which Jai Walia had found a most unexpected friend. (Could she be called a friend?) Moments later, a bus stops. Mink gets in hurries to a window seat and looks through the dirty window panes. She finds his magnificent back retreating. Jai Walia walks towards his house moodily. As he enters his room, his anxious wife hugs him passionately and talls him she is sorry. Maybe she overreacted. He puts a finger on her lips and says" Love means never having to say you are sorry Bani!" They hug each other and Mr.Walia smiles to himself. That was an adventure. This is the real thing"I love you Bani!" he says softly.. ..

In side the bus, Mink stares out of the window seeing nothing. A smile playing on her lips, all that she can see is her date of a few moments ago when her cell rings "MINI"! It's her husband"Mini mini my sweety! Where are you? Why was your cell off? I've been so worried about you. Listen I am truly sorry fo.. .." "Wait!" she interrupts him "Love means never having to say you are sorry darling!"

There is silence at both end for some time and then very quietly he says"I am waiting for you Mini." Mini says yes. A little later, she looks out of the window and sighs contentedly. That was an adventure. This is the real thing. She sighs again hopes the bus will hurry up for nothing can beat love. Not even an unforeseen devilishly handsome date!

Ah same pinch Rupy! I think I love the humor the satire the dig at the MCP society of that time, the vanity the buoyancy the spirit the pangs of love depicted so beautifully I love Lizzy I love Mr.Darcy I love Pemberly I love everything about it because somewhere deep down there is a Lizzy and Mr.Darcy within each of us and hence an instant connection is established between us and the crowd in there.

Ah Mr. Darcy!😛😳 All our TV heroes are roughly based on him, aren't they? Gosh that guy! If he had been real, I would have married him long back, by hook or by crook! Munna is I believe a desi version of Mr.Darcy. They are very similar in that both are long suffering men who have managed to create an image entirely antithetical to what they really are. Both of them long for love security and a family of their own and fall for a woman who they never thought befitting even in their dreams and end up falling violently in love with her.The only dissimilarities being poor Mr. Darcy had neither a pet Raaz nor a wife with the instincts of Mata Hari and Mother Teresa all rolled in to one but Munna has!Yeah one more dissimilarity: Don't think Mr, Darcy can come anywhere close to my Munna where kissing is concerned! Both are exciting characters with the ability the courage to face their mistakes and try and redeem themselves. The most striking character about them is the attitude! I love them both as is obvious!😉

Not really. The movie has to be really good, either spine tickling comedy like Chupke chupke or path breaking like Black you know a good movie made not just for the heck of it.

Khamoshi (Old), Gone with the Wind, Black and Rang de basanti are my faborite movies.
