Jai's Weakness Won't Be Bani's Fault!

This post is mainly directed to all my Member Friends here who are indicating that Bani's current cold attitude towards Jai will drive him straight in the arms of Pia!

Excuse me? If this is the case, then so be it. Jai deserves someone as shallow, as empty and as selfish as Pia! Remember the countless instances where Jai was not only cold but downright cruel towards Bani, did that drive her into the arms of Pushkar or to Mohan Khandelwal. Forget that, did she even go crying to her sister's complaining about Jai and his attitude towards her? Is this some sort of a notion we have here, that a woman has to put up with all her husband's idiosyncracies and bear and wait like a good wife till he comes round the corner, but if a woman decides to stay away from her husband, for reasons of her own, he has all the rights to go astray from the relationship?

I don't understand why should Love always be a two-sided lane? When Bani was in love with Jai, and he was the least bit bothered about it, we were still singing paens to Jai and saying that Jai has just not realized it and one day he will come around! Why is that now, when supposedly Bani has nothing to do with Jai and he has fallen in love with her, we all desperately want Bani to succumb to his wishes?

When Bani chose to fall in love with Jai, she chose to do it on her own accord, without any notions of ever getting that love reciprocated...Now if Jai has decided to follow the same path, he has also done this of his own accord, with no notions of Bani ever coming back in his life!

Jai has to put up with Bani, her coldness, her taciturn nature, her aloofness, her detachment, her rudeness, even her tantrums! If Jai has truly loved Bani, he has to love her under what ever circumstances...He has to love her when she is even at her worst, he has to love her even when she is apparently breaking his heart into a hundred pieces everyday.....Simply because she has also loved him despite his innumerous faults and failings...and loved without expecting a single thing in return!

As you guys say, following Bani's coldness, if Jai does indeed go straight into Pia's arms, it would only show what a shallow and weak man he is....Somone who is not even sure of his feelings for the woman he loves, someone who cannot wait for her to come around, someone who has to salvage his ego by running to another woman!

But Jai is not like that....He is too strong a character, too principled a man and too firmly entrenched in his moral values and beliefs to ever fall for the traps of a girl like Pia....and most important, he is deeply in love with Bani and hence, even if the whole family turns against her and try and emotionally manipulate him into letting go of Bani, he won't! Jai has ultimately always done what his heart has told him and here also he will follow the same path! I believe in Jai and all that he has stood for till date and if the Creatives show him going against all that he has believed in, then it would be their fault and not Jai Walia's! As Sangeeta's Poem so beautifully quotes, "Love only comes to those who believe in it..." If Jai believes in his love, it will come back to him one day, nothing would be able to stop that! Its really upto him to keep the faith.....and he will for sure!😃

Coming back to Bani, I won't blame Bani for anything, I still think that her not being able to forgive Jai and move on is trivial compared to what she had to go through when she got to know that her husband and the man she loves had actually being responsible for her Mother's death. I think its rather remarkable that despite this truth being known to her, Bani is still doing all that she can, in her own strange ways😕 to help Jai....and acutally confessing that she loves him and will do anything and everything in her power to protect him. Just goes to show that she might be a small towner with a lower-middle class upbringing, but when it comes to character and beliefs, she is the Tops!👏On the same level, if not higher than Jai!

Whatever Bani is doing is of her own sound reasoning, however stupid and silly it might be and most important, she is doing this out of love and nothing else, for the man whom she cares for the most in the World......Even if Jai doesn't understand the thought behind Bani's actions, he has to understand his own emotions and trust his instict that his faith in Bani is not unfounded and he has to follow the path he has chosen, that of being faithful to the woman he loves.....and no amount of roadside distraction should lead him astray!

Basically, this was a Pia battering Post😆, but really, sometimes I feel that we support Jai way too blindly and always are ready to disown and batter Bani, even at the slightest provocation......So, I thought why not chip in today and then get brickbats on her behalf from you guys!😉😆

So my question for you guys is;

If Jai does end up going back to Pia (Temporarily or Permanently) Will you blame Jai for the same or will you blame Bani? I am not naming Pia here, because she will get battered any which way!😆

Sangeeta, Sara, Tisha and all the Other Bani Brigadiers, need your support here, cause we are badly, badly outnumbered by the Jai Defence Front!😆

I can already see my phone ringing and Raaga coming out with a barrage of "Eu Tu Brutus" for me!😉😆

Very balanced POV 👏 Yes, though I fear the worst, I do agree that Jai is too dignified, self-conrolled, a person to stray just because someone wants to balm his bruised ego/heart. He didnt go to anyone when Pia left him. (aka Sonali)

There u said it... he won't do it...its way below his stature...he will support Bani... stand by her no matter what... family accept kare ya na kare.... his heart will never let any such thing happen....IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN....NEVER....

and if he goes to Pia........ well then... I guess atleast I will disown him.... I can't belive I wrote this... .....It will be too much of an act to be defended.... it will be against everything this guy has stood for... SO IT CAN NEVER REALLY HAPPEN...

Such a thing won't be Bani's fault.... it'll be his weakness and he will have to be blamed... blamed nahi totally beaten up black n blue...😡

No I will not blame Bani. I believe that each person is finally responsible for the choices he makes and the actions he or she takes as a result of these choices. If he believes that going back to Pia will make him forget what he feels for Bani or the relationship that they have then good luck to him. He will very soon pay the consequences. Like you, I too believe that there is less likelihood of something like this happening because JW is a very strong man with equally strong principles. If he does want to be with someone else he would first set Bani totally free. He knows deep in his heart that Bani has some hiddent agenda as to why she is doing this but he just cannot figure it out.
