Ram Kapoor is a fab actor and he suits the role of Jai Walia to the T.
As has already been mentioned earlier in this post, the character of Jai Walia is powerful yet seems very real and Ram Kapoor's histrionics jus add the extra charm to the character.
All the other actors are good as well , but Ram Kapoor takes the cake with Killer smile and eyes! 😆

Honestly, I started watching kasamh se only because of Ram Kapoor and then eventually got hooked on to it... 😊

No, to no 6. ie no other actor.
Yes to all other7. Specially no 3. It is both the character and the actor. From the beginning, camera angle, music built up Jai Walia as THE focus of attention. Which actor, and someone as professional as Ram, wouldn't take advantage of that. Remember the first entry, Bani bent down to pick up a letter and two feet coming down the stairs with martial music playing. Creating suspense. That was a signal to us 'Here comes the hottie of the soap."

emmmmm...well i guess when i started watching kasamh se, i didn't really pay much attention to jay walia's role. his was an old and slow moving character and i would like to emphasize "old". what got me glued?....the storyline. i think it's a female thing....we get so engrossed when we read stories like mills and boons. love untold/unspoken between a man and a woman. we get so absorbed to a point we think we're bani and jay is the love of our life. it gets more interesting when he yearns for her love....we too would want the man we love to feel the same for us, don't we.so i guess it really comes down to the golden mills and boons...the books we would go on reading till wee morning...so immersed....dreaming it was happening to us.......and of course...waiting for the happy ending... 😳 ...and yes not to forget it gets even much more juicer if the male character was as cute as jai walia.... 😆

and i personally think ram kapoor is a good and excellent actor and to perform less then what the viewers expect would be a personal insult to him. but that doesn't mean no one else can act better. we have yet to see cuz the opportunity has yet to arise. i don't deny that ram and prachi are doing a great job but it doesn't mean others couldn't do better. ram is a seasoned actor, he draws the emotions, he knows what we expect....as for prachi, her age and maturity...what more can be said...she has inborn talents. kasamh se is a blender of good film-making plus excellent performers.ram kapoor alone can't turn a bad movie into a good one. cheers!

I AGREE TO WHAT SEGARI HAS TO SAY

WE CAN'T BE SURE THAT NO OTHER ACTOR WILL PORTRAIT THE CHARACTER OF JAI WALIA AS GOOD AS RAM DOES.

I CAME TO KNOW TODAY, THAT MOHNISH BEHL WAS SUPPOSED TO DO THE ROLE FIRST,

AND HE MIGHT ALSO HAVE DONE IT WELL

I HAVE MY DOUBTS ABT MOHNISH DOING IT BETTER THAN RAM....
BUT YA, I ALSO WASN'T INTERESTED IN KS FIRST WHEN THEY SHOWED THE TRAILOR OF THE NEW SHOW...

BUT WATCHING RAM GIVINH FABULOUS PERFORMANCES IS A GREAT PLEASURE!

THAT WAS THE BEST EPISODE EVER IN KS...THAT WAS WHEN RAM DELIVERED HIS BEST...GOD..HIS EXPRESSION CAN'T BE DESCRIBED..IT SHOWED EVERYTHING..HOW MUCH HE CARED FOR BANI...HOW CONFUSED HE WAS.....HOW HE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO..

OK..HERE ARE THE QUESTIONS FOR THE DISCUSSION.

1.WHY IS RAM KAPOOR SO POPULAR, MORE THAN ALL OTHER STARS IN KS? I MEAN ALL THE OTHERS ALSO DO A GREAT JOB BUT WHY IS IT JUST HIM ALWAYS...?

Because of the way he brought the character of Jai Walia alive. It seems like this role was only ment to be his; he adds so much class, charisma and sex appeal to this role, it's just amazing. It's like a woman's dream come true (this woman for sure! 😉) He has superb acting skills which he uses excellently for this role.

2.WHY DO WE MISS HIM SO MUCH WHEN HE IS NOT SHOWN FOR JUST 1 EPISODE?

Because we love him so much. As I speak for myself, he's the main reason why I am watching KS, since I'm not a soap watcher. Actually my mom was watching it from the beginning, and she made me aware of him, since she knows that I would be completely clean bowled by him 😉

3.IS IT THE SPECIALITY OF THE CHARACTER THAT HE PLAYS, OR IS IT RAM KAPOOR'S SUPERB ACTING SKILLS?

I would say both, because I also read somewhere that Mohnish Behl was supposed to play JW. With all my respect to the actor Mohnish Behl, please don't get me wrong, I don't think he would be able to make Jai Walia what Jai Walia is today. In that case I would definitely not watch KS even or being hooked by the show as I am now. For me it's the combination of both the character and the actor RK

4. WHY DID WE ALL GO CRAAAAAAAAAZY WHEN WE HEARD THAT HE HAS REGISTERED IN IF?

I mean, this man is nowadays also a part of my life, watching the show, discussing him here on IF, so it's plain obvious that him registering here at IF is like the icing on the cake. He's now just a click away, it brings him really really close....

5.BUT TO BE HONEST, ISN'T RAM KAPOOR-JAI WALIA THE MAIN REASON WE KEEP WATCHING KS EVEN WHEN IT GETS BORING?(ITS LIKE THAT FOR ME!)

Yes Yes Yes, he keeps me hooked no matter how boring an episode might be. I can just continue ogling at him ........😳 😉

6. I READ SOMEWHERE THAT SOME OTHER ACTOR WAS SUPPOSED TO PLAY JAI, BUT HE QUIT AND RAM WAS CHOSEN. HAD THAT ACTOR CONTINUED, WUD WE HAVE BEEN ADDICTED TO KS AS NOW?

I already answered this in the third question: No for me!

ok herez my question nukutty...y did u have to waste so many space and den post? 😆 its kind of annoying!!...ok back to my point...first of all ram has de cutest smile ever!!!!! 😳 and when he is shy...ufff....second his acting...his expressions and his eyes.....ufffff... 😳 😳 😳 ...he is one of de cutest things god have ever made 😛 well ofcourse including me 😆 ....
