Sorry for keeping you guys waiting! HOpe you'll like this part! 😃

PART 27B:
Rano walks out of the bathroom after taking the longest and most relaxful shower she had ever taken. She takes her towel off her head and feels her curly wet hair hit against her shoulders. She glances over at her clock and sees that it is six o'clock. "Saahil will be here in an hour...," she thinks to herself and then immediately blushes on thinking of Saahil. Rano, dressed in her white robe, quickly walks over to her closet, in excitement.
Rano: What should i wear?
She says as she pushes pairs of clothes to the side, looking through her closet.
Rano: I have nothing good to wear. (a bit upset) ...I know, i'll just go and see if Pia has anything.
She then quickly runs over to Pia's room and searches through her closet. "Wow, this girl has way too many clothes...what should i wear?" After a moment or two, Rano's eyes spot a shimmering pink dress off to the side. She slowly reaches for the dress and examines it. A faint smile reaches to her lips. "Hopefully he'll like me in this". Feeling very excited, yet nervous at the same time, Rano retreats back to her room to get ready.

Aarti: Stop, i can't walk anymore. (out of breath)
Aarti, holding four bags, sits down at a table, standing outside by a resturant.
Aarti: My feet are killing me. Next time, you guys are going to have to remind me to wear sneakers when we go shopping.
Pia, Bani, and Riya also sit at the table.
Pia: We've been shopping for four hours now. (placing a few shopping bags to her side) I'm hungry.
Bani: There's a waiter right there. Let's order?
Aarti: You guys eat, i just want to relax.
Riya: We did do a lot of shopping, today. Look at how many bags we're holding. (giggling)
Pia: Well it's Aarti's wedding, so of course we have to go all out.
A waiter comes to their service and hands them their menus. After a few minutes of deciding, the girls order and wait for their food.
Pia: Riya, i never got to see your lehenga for the wedding. Could you please show it to me?.
Riya: (smiles) Sure thing.
Riya reaches into her bag and pulls out a package. She carefully tears off the package and takes the piece of clothing out, showing it to Pia.

Riya: (looks at Bani) Bani picked it out for me. Thanks again, Bani. (smiles)
Bani: No problem, Riya.

Pia reaches into her bags and pulls out a package of her own. She carefully opens it and brings out her outfit.

Pia: (smiles) I sure hope so. I think it's about time i get myself a man. (she jokes, laughs)
"Hmm, then i can surely hook you up, if you want," a voice from behind says. The girls turn to the side and see Jai with Rahul approaching them.
Pia: (grins) Would you?
Jai: Sure will. I know plenty. (sits down in a chair by Bani) Infact, i have a Cousin, Pushkar, who would love to go out with a girl like you.
Pia: Oh really? Hmm... guess i'm going to have to check this Pushkar out. (winks)
Jai: (to Bani) What'd you girls do?
Bani: Shopping. (smiles) for the wedding.
Jai: What'd you get? (reaches to her bag, tries to look through it)
Bani smacks Jai's hands away and takes her bag away from her.
Bani: It's a surprise. You're going to have to wait till the wedding. (a flirty smile)
Jai: (cocks his eyebrow)
He wraps his right arm around her and leans in closer, whispering into her ear.
Jai: (low deep voice)Then i'll be even more anxious to see you....
Bani blushes silently to herself and nudges Jai in his ribs. He takes her hand and kisses it softly, causing Bani to turn scarlet red. Pia and Riya, both, begin whistling.
Pia: Hai hai, look at how red our Bani Di has become. Jai, what'd you say?
Jai: (grins) Kuch bhi nahi. (trans: Nothing at all)
Pia: Arre, don't lie, you definitely said something to make Bani Di blush so much.
Bani: (changing the subject) Jai, where were you?
Jai: I was helping Rahul with the wedding shopping.
Rahul: Yeah, thanks yaar, without you, i would have been clueless.
Jai: (laughs) Don't worry about it man. Just doing my job. And thank god you took me with you or else you would have boughten that ridiculous blue sherwani and you would have been a laughing stock at your own wedding!
Rahul: Okay, so i admit it, i have bad taste. Sue me.
Aarti: Wait, what??? What happened?
Jai: Your husband-to-be was this close (using his fingers) into buying this one sherwani that was this ugly shade of blue, i'm not even sure it was blue, it was a very strange yet disgusting color and the designs were just so off.
Aarti: (using her arms to bow infront of Jai) Oh my god! Jai, i honor you! You are my savior!
Rahul: (glares at Jai and Aarti) Can we please stop discussing about my "bad" taste in clothing? I'm starved.(placing a hand over his rumbling stomach)

Saahil honks again for the tenth time, beginning to feel irritated now. He looks at his watch. "What's taking Rano so long?," he asks himself. A moment later, he sees Rano coming outside of the front door and closing it behind her. She approaches him with a sorry look on her face. Rano was looking goregous with her black hair let out into loose curls, again wearing her contacts, and wearing long dangling diamond earrings. He can't see what she's wearing though because of her long black jacket covering her up, but he sees her shiny heels.
Rano: I'm so sorry, Saahil. I was running a little late, had to do a last few touches.
Saahil: (shakes his head) You women take such a long time in getting ready. I don't understand why. You say you'll be ready by a certain time, but then you need five more minutes which really means another hour. Just put on your clothes and get going, simple as that.
Rano: No, not so simple. Yes, you have to put on your clothes, but then you have to decide on what clothes you want to wear. Then you have to accesorize and decide on what accesories will match with your outfit. Do your hair and style it nicely, and finally do your makeup which isn't easy you know! and all that to impress -
Saahil: A guy. (nods his head) ........(looks at Rano with a grin) Which guy are you trying to impress, Rano?
Rano is dumbfounded and doesn't know how to respond to the question. Instead, she begins to blush to herself.
Rano: (chaing the subject)Saahil, we better not waste time, we're already late as it is.
Saahil: Yeah, and whose fault is that?
Rano: (glares at him) Just drive.
Saahil switches the gear to drive and cruises out of the neighborhood.

After spending another few hours of last minute shopping, the gang had gone to a resturant for dinner and were having a great time so far, talking about the wedding and the sangeet, which was only two days from now. Everyone is having a fun time planning about the wedding, except for Bani, who was trying to join in on the planning, but couldn't seem to. She was growing a splitting headache and her throat was beginning to feel sore. She also wasn't feel too well in the morning, but chose to ignore it, thinking she would feel better later in the evening, but it was beginning to grow worse. Her headache begins to grow more sharp, that she can't seem to endure the pain anymore. She lightly touches her forehead with her hand, trying to massage it, hoping it would reduce the headache. Jai, who was in the middle of conversation with Riya, sees Bani looking like she was in pain. His full and undivided attention turns to her. He gently touches her, showing his concern for her.
Jai: Bani, what's wrong?
Bani: (slightly shaking her head) No, nothing's wrong with me. I'm...I'm absolutely fine. Just feeling a bit..... dizzy...and a minor headache,...but it'll go away.
Jai places the back of his hand against Bani's forehead, he is surprised to know that her forehead is hot.
Jai: Bani, you're sick, why didn't you tell me anything before?
Bani: (looking like on a verge of crying) I thought it'd go away.
Pia: (slowly her attention turns to Bani) Didi, kya hua? Are you okay?
Aarti and Rahul also finally notice that something is wrong with Bani.
Jai: (grabbing his coat from behind his chair, pulling Bani gently up from her seat) Bani, i'm going to take you back to the apartment.
Bani: (protesting) No, i'll be fine, Jai. Believe me.
Jai: Bani, don't bother arguing with me. I"m taking you home, you're not feeling well. (turning to everyone else) YOu guys carry on with dinner, me and Bani are gonna leave.
Rahul: Yeah, sure.
Aarti: Take care of yourself, Bani.
Bani gives her bestfriend a weak smile. Jai wraps his arm around her waist and leads her out of the resturant and into the car.

Rano and Saahil are welcomed into a large noisy place of college kids, dancing, talking, and drinking. Rano begins to feel a bit uncomfortable by being at the party, she didn't know any of the other kids, and she definitely couldn't find Tanya anywhere. "I shouldn't have come," she thinks to herself. She looks to her side and finds that Saahil isn't with her anymore, she searches around her and finally spots him with a group of his Jock friends. She scowls under her breath, angry with him for leaving her by herself. Rano would have to teach him some manners. After sighing hoplessly to herself, she hears a familiar voice. "Rano, you're here!," said her best friend. Rano turns around and is faced infront of Tanya is wearing a nice short red dress, showing off her beautiful curves. Rano was always jealous of Tanya and her beauty.
Rano: (small smile) Yeah, i'm here.
Tanya: Aren't you feeling hot? Take your jacket off. (yanks Rano's jacket off of her, throws it onto a random chair) Oh wow, you're looking so beautiful, Rano! Where'd you get the dress from?
Rano: (laughs) Of course i wouldn't own such a thing... It's Pia.
Tanya: (smiles) I should have known... Come on, lemme introduce you to people, so you can get familiar with everyone.
Tanya drags Rano further into the crowd and introduces her to a bunch of other friends of Tanya's who were quite nice and also very shocked to see Rano looking completely different from how she dresses to college.
Tanya: I'm gonna go get us drinks, stay right here.
Rano: Okay.
Tanya wanders off, leaving Rano alone surrounded by unfamiliar people. Feeling very bored, she watches other college kids dancing on the dance floor and sways a little with the music. She was obvlivious to everything else, only into the music and watching everyone else. Rano didn't even hear anyone from behind her approaching her. She is startled when she feels a grip on her left shoulder, she shrugs the hand off and turns around, wanting to see who it is. It's a tall guy, clean shaven, gelled down brown hair, wearing a white shirt buttoned down, showing off his chest, and was wearing a smirk on his handsome face. "Hi, i'm Ishaan," he introduces himself. On hearing his name, Rano calms down. Oh, it's the host of the party. She sweetly smiles at him. "Hi, i'm Rano".
Ishaan: Rano?.... (trying to remember) Oh yeah, Saahil told me about you. (raises his eyebrow) You look awfully different.... in a good way though. (grins)
Rano: (mutters) Thank you.....
Rano was hoping that he would leave now, but he doesn't budge. She then draws to the conclusion that he isn't going to be leaving her quite so soon.
Rano: Nice party.....(eyes on the dancefloor)
Ishaan: Thanks...getting a little crowded though, didn't imagine it would be this big.
All rano can do is nod. After another moment of silence, Ishaan speaks up again.
Ishaan: Do you want to dance?
Rano: (looks at him) Uh..... i was intending onto....
Ishaan: Come on, please?
Tanya then shows up with two cups of coke in her hands.
Tanya: Go on, Rano. Have some fun! Go with Ishaan! (winks at her)
Rano: What about you?
Tanya: Oh please, i'll be fine. You and Ishaan go on and have fun.
Rano looks over to Saahil, who was still talking to his friends, paying least attention to her. She then looks back at Ishaan, waiting for her response.
Rano: (hesitantly) Okay....

Varun: Saahil, yaar, who was that chick that was with you?
Saahil: What chick?
Abhi: Yaar, the one that you came inside with! She was hot!
Saahil: You mean, Rano?!
Kshitij: Hain, woh wali!
Abhi: Wait, did you just say Rano? Rano rano? The one who yelled at you in the hallway?
Saahil: Yeah, that one. (smiles)
Varun: (scratching his head) Yaar, how did she become into that?
Kshitij: Where is she? (looks around for her)
Abhi: Wow.... hey saahil, you think i have a shot with her?
Saahil smacks the back of Abhi's head.
Abhi: Ouch! man, what'd i do?
Saahil: Abhi, don't even think about it. Rano's mine. Go find someone else. (possesiveness)
Abhi: Are you guys going out?
Saahil: No... not yet... Look, i just have a good feeling about Rano, okay? She's different from the other girls... and i like that.
Varun: Well there's your Rano, looking like she's having the time of her life, dancing with Ishaan, and they're pretty close, if you know what i mean.
Saahil jerks his head over to the dancefloor and scans it. At first, he doesn't see Rano anymore, but spots Ishaan and slowly also sees Rano. He is shocked out of his wits. Rano is looking way more beautiful than he could imagine. She was wearing a great pink dress showing off her curvy body and slim legs.

But then begins a great urge of jealousy building inside of him. How could she be dancing with another guy? And that too with Ishan?
Kshitij: Looks like Ishaan got to her first, Saahil.
Saahi's hands turn into huge fists and he continues to watch Rano dancing along with Ishaan to the beat of the music. A moment later, two pretty girls approach Saahil and his friends. One of them talking to Saahil. "Hey, Saahil, want to dance?," she asks him.
Saahil: (his eyes still on Rano) Sure thing, Shaina....

Bani lets out a fit of giggles when she sees Jai looking around the apartment crazy for blankets to keep her warm. He was looking so adorable.
Bani: Jai, they're in the closet in Aarti's room.
Jai: Thanks.
He runs in over to Aarti's room and comes back a minute later with two folded blankets. Jai approaches Bani on the couch and wraps her securely with the blankets. He kisses her ontop of her forehead.
Jai: Warmer?
Bani: (still a little cold) Yeah...
Jai: (sits down close to her, his arms around her) How about that headache?
Bani: (moans like a little kid) Still hurts... tea would be nice (she suggests)
Jai grins at her.
Jai: I'll get right on it.
He gets off the couch and heads on over to the kitchen, preparing to make the tea. Bani turns on the television and flips through the channels to see what was on. Whenever Bani was homesick, she would always lay across the couch covered with blankets and watch television until she would fall asleep. She stops on an indian channel which was playing Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gaum, her ultimate favourite. She would never get tired of this movie. After about five-ten minutes go by, Jai comes back outside with a teacup in his hand. He sits down besides Bani and hands her the tea. She takes a sip and is about to immediately spit it out but forces it down her threat. She begins to cough and Jai becomes concerned.
Jai: What happened? Are you okay?
Bani: (nods her head) Yeah, i'm fine, it's just...(blurts out, laughing) Jai, this is the worst tea i've ever tasted!
Jai: I didn't tell you it would be good. It's not like i make tea all the time in my life. I"ve got servants to do that for me.
Bani: (smiles at him) It's okay, Jai. I just feel touched that you're doing so much for me.
Jai wraps both his arms around Bani, as she rests her back against his chest, her head underneath his chin. Being in Jai's arms made Bani feel so secure and safe, she wanted to stay like this forever.
Jai: Anything for you, Bani....
Bani smiles to herself, very pleased. She was enjoying this moment right now. She continues to watch the movie, which was barely halfway done. It was only at when Shahrukh meets Kajal. Jai lets out a moan as he sees what Bani is watching.
Jai: Not this again.
Bani: (looking up at him) Kya?
Jai: This movie, i've seen it hundreds of times, it's all that my Dadi watches....
Bani giggles. Jai had told Bani of his dadi, who she was looking forward to meet, also his Mausi. Infact, she wanted to meet everyone of Jai's family and friends. He made them seem like they were so wonderful.
Bani: Well i will never get tired of this movie....it's my favourite...plus, i love watching Shahrukh ....he's so sexy...
Jai rises one of his eyebrows.
Jai: And what about me?
Bani: (teasing) Hmmm...you're okay, but you're nothing compared to my Shahrukh...
Jai: Your Shahrukh?
Bani: (nods her head) Yes, my Shahrukh. You know, i was planning on tracking him down and marry him, but then you came into the picture....
Jai: Unlucky you....(grim face)
Bani laughs at him. She turns around and faces him, still in his arms. She cups the side of his face with her hand.
Bani: I love you, Jai....I love you so much.....
Jai takes Bani's chin in his fingers and brings her face closer, only inches away from his.
Jai: I love you too....
He then leans in closer and plants a soft kiss onto her pink lips and deepens it further, expressing his love to her. Jai pulls back and then kisses her hands. Bani lays near him, her head resting against his chest, her hand on his shoulder. Jai pulls her closer to him, tightening his hold on her. They didn't even get to Intermission because they had fallen alseep in eachother's arms........
