After seeing Jai's reaction today. I thought it would be a good idea for some of us who have kids to share our exp as what our husband's first reaction when they came to know they were becoming a Dad.

My exp

I was at work and person from the lab called and told me my blood test for pregnancy was positive. I called my hisband immediately and told him. For 2 seconds I did not hear anything from his side. It did get me worried a bit and suddenly he started laughing and asking me if I was sure.

That evening he got me some flowers and a card. I still remember that day.

Come on girls now it is ur turn

My husband and I went to pick up the lab report and when we saw the positive report, he just forgot about all the people there and hugged me so tightly !!
1 minute later we realsied that we were attracting a lot of attention ......we left the place in a hurry

Not married yet, don't have any children yet. I would hope my husband's reaction will be like Jai's, happy, estatic because I would be scared out of my mind!!

I am not married and so, no kids yet..but I do want my hubby to react the same way Jai did except for the crying part.. 😆 😆

My husband's side of the family has twins. When I told him I was pregnant. He smiled and then got extremely worried and said how early can we find if it is one or two. 😆

Hi Danya, This is an interesting topic 😊

I remember, we had a few relatives over for the weekend, my aunt uncle cousin and family, a couple kids.....it was a full house that day..Early morning we were supposed to go sight-seeing, and I had to take a HPT (home preg test)..hubby dear was strolling outside our bathroom while i was inside testing..the others were all doing their own stuff and getting ready, and when i came out he was looking at me anxiously, and I smiled meaningfully and assertively, and he immediately broke into a broad grin and wanted to hug me, just then my uncle was passing by, so we had to..suppress our excitement for then, but we shared a kind of secret smile and closeness, it was something very sweet and touching.. 😊 brings a smile to my face when I remember that moment now.. 😊 😳
