Aditee.. I too feel like I've lost touch with my abilities to defend Bani. Not because I am unsympathetic in any way.. or even masochistic... but moreso, because JW's character is so strong that I tend to lean towards seing his perspective. He does seem to be central.. and all the characters react to him.. and as such.. even me.. Sad, but true. So, I appreciate that Tisha has taken up the mantle to defend and analyze from Bani's perspective. Her arguments are sound.... and worthy of note....

As far as being escapist... I am with you... I want a fine balance. Not so steeped in reality that I can't enjoy the show.. but also, not so steeped in fiction, that I forget my own sensibilities. That would be freaky!! So, Tisha, bringing sanity is GOOD!

That said... as far as your point about why Bani didn't leave. Who knows... her reasoning.. albeit accepted by us at the time... was/is quite weak. She said that she stayed as a buffer between Jai & P sqaured. She wanted to repent on their behalf, for what they had done. I think, it all got muddled up.. her well intentions, his anger.. Maasi's arrival.. her burgeoning feelings.. and then the blossoming of love. Regardless. here we are.... with a munna or munni on the way... and the couple separated....

agreed again Bani's character is just another plain Ekta female character she is just good like all the other Kusums, Tulsi's etc etc. JW is different hence we can speak and support him..

even Bani & Rano know that Pia is selfish, and why would Bani do it for Massi, someone she does not even know and not just stay but go ahead with the whole seva, why didn't she stop her affection for massi when JW told her so?

I have to applaud Priyanka on this point! 👏 Great point!!! I mean they do say do unto others what they do to you but that philosophy only works with people like Gandhi! For normal people like us we would like to get back at others but how justified is it for Bani to punish Jai and their child KNOWINGLY when what he did was a mistake and UNINTENTIONAL. 😕 He did attempt to help make the situation better but if it worked against him then it's fate to be blamed and not one particular person. I'm just hoping that Bani would have half the sense to realise that eventually! 😕

Adi....the disadvantage of coming in last....everyone's said everything! 😕 But I have to agree with Soap and you....I don't think I have it in me to start a morchao n Bani's behalf coz JW's character is better etched out and is more realistic! Bani's reasoning for a lot of her actions were beyond me and I can't seem to put myself in her shoes and react similarly so I don't bother! 😕

Exactly what I said all through those KS times! Who was holding back Bani....def not Pia or Rano! It was her own thoughts and conscience! Not every woman in this world is that noble to forego the opportunity to get away from an uncomfortable situation and to take upon herself to bear the brunt of other people's faults! I certainly wouldn't! 😕 But then again I'm not as mahaan as Bani! 😛

That's exactly what makes FF JW all the more attractive! He KNOWS how Bani affects him but he still willingly puts himself in that vulnerable position! It's that side of him that makes him so enticing! 😳

Being explosive in bed doesnt guarantee THE GREAT JW ANYTHING! Despite being so good together in bed they are floundering in day light

He cud have gone off and fired Tarun and broght her back or just threatened to divorce her to see what she wants.

He brings her home deviously and employs all the subtle and some not so subtle 😳 ammunition in his arsenal to check out what wifey wants
