DOW- How diff is Zee bahu from Star bahu - Page 2

Hi Monika,
I'm new in this section.Nice topic and very good analysis.
If the channel is responsible for the kind of portrayal of it's main protagonist,then kudos to Zee.It's a shade better than other channels.But as far as I can recall except for Dr.Simran all other bahus resemble Star bahus.
Sorry to deviate a little from the main topic,but overall I think the serials themselves are slightly different on Zee and hence the bahus.Zee was the first channel to go international and has a huge overseas viewership.
But I'm quite happy to see some "glamour and gud" in the new serials.

Parvati and Simran remain my all time favorites.Parvati is what people would love to have in a bahu and Simran is what one could get in real life.Both these actors,Sakshi and Niki play/played the role most convincingly.

Just my thoughts guys.

Well okay here is my analysis on the bahoos of zee channel and sony channel!

hmm to me........ the are PICTURE PERFECT....... and to tell you the truth, the same concept gets wack after a while!

The have the same characteristics that have been portrayed by any other channel! I always see the similarities within their thespian characters!

* They always wear mangalsutra ( i hardly see any wife wearing this in real life) 😆
* NOt to forget they always have the sindoor
* They trust everyone so easily
* They are head strong
* They are binded by their sasural
* They are very much an adarsh patni
* oo here is the biggest thing!! THey are always SACRIFICING! lolzzz i'm really started to get annoyed by this!!

I mean come on, this makes the role look so fake!! you are not god man!! you aint perfect!!lolzz

Hey this topic is good, i can list so many other reason with keeping in mind the correspondance each one of them present;

Here is the bottom line:
We are desis and we are used to this whole saas bahu serial!! Eventhough it's the same story line again and again, but still it makes us want to watch these serials!! NO matter if they are copied or repeated, every serial represent a woman that might be related to us in some ways!!

All these channels are trying to bring us the different aspect about a woman!! Basically, i get the moral that women destroy, women plot, and women hold the power!

And to tell you the truth, this is a mere reality, which i guess is quiet good! okay my little bro bugging me off the hook cuz he wants to use the comp!! lolzzzz
