Folks for your reading pleasure...this was what I had written a few days back...ran out of inspiration
JW walking into aditya's room
J: Aditya sab kuch khatam ho gaya. Just when everything I ever wanted was finally within my grasp I am going to loose it all and I will have no one else to blame but myself.
JW sits down shell shocked on a chair in aditya's room. Aditya is completely dumbstruck not knowing what has happened to make his friend look so broken down and defeated. He has seen Jai in many forms angry, happy, fighting but never so defeated. He got very scared and jumps out of bed and rushes over to Jai, the man he loves like a brother trying ftoigure out what has happened.
A: Jai kya ho gaya? Mujhe batai. Aisa kuch nahi ho sakta jo hum saath milke hal nahi dhoond sakti. Tum mujhe batay to sahi.
Jai's silence is scaring him, but he knows not to push Jai but to wait and Jai will tell him when he is ready.
J: Bani ma banne waali hai
A: Kya? Wow
Jumps up and hugs Jai.
A: Yeh to bahut acchi khabar hai. Jai tumhara sare sapne pure ho rahe hai. Arre main chacha banne wala ho. Arre main bani ko ja kar congratulate karta hoon.
J: Aditya rooko? Aditya tum bahut accha insaan ho. Tum ne bani ka hamesha saath diya. Uski acchai ko pehcana. Abhi use tumhari bahut zaroorat hogi. Ek baap ki zaroorat. Meri wajah se aaj uski puri duniya bikher kar reh gayi hai
A: Jai yeh tum hya keh raho ho. Main jaanta nahi agar tumhe yeh pata bhi hai ya nai par mujhe lagta hai ki bani tumse bahut pyar karti hai. Ye baccha to bahut khushi ki bat hai. Tum uski zindagi bikher ne ki baat kyu kar rahe ho.
J: Aditya suno mai jo tumhe kah raha hoon. Aaj main tumhe who sab kuch bata dena cahta hoon jo itne dino maine tumse aur sari duniya se chupaya
Tells aditya the whole incident. Roshni's role. Bani's reaction.
Aditya is completely stunned. He does not know what to say.
A: Jai yeh sab tumhe Bani ko bahut pehle bata deni chaiyya thi.
J: Don't you think I don't know that. I think I was always aware of what I would loose if the truth came out. I was right. I am going to loose everything that really matters to me in the whole world. There is nothing I can do to stop it because ultimately I am responsible.
Aditya seeing how Jai is beating himself up decides to ease up.
A: Jai jo tumne kiya who thik nahi tha. Is liye kyu ke tum ne baat chupayi. Par jo us raat hui ek hadsa tha. Kissi ke saath bhi ho sakta tha. Tum ne to jaan bugh ke to aisa nahi kiya.
Goes over an out his arms around Jai's shoulder's
A: Jai tumhe majbooth banna parega Bani ke liya. Hamme mil kar use is sadme se nikalna hoga. Tumhe uski har narazgi pyar se wapas deni hogi. Uska sahara banna hoga, uske na cahne par bhi. Dhire dhire uski nazarzi kam ho jayegi kyo ki who tumse bahut pyar karti hai. Aur is liye bhi because she is a fair person and will realize it was an accident. We just have to give her time and space all the while making sure that she is loved.
Jai starts to straighten. Aditya had given him some hope. He realized now is his turn to be the strong one and support bani. He is going to make sure that no one hurts even a hair on her beautiful head. He is going to make her love him again. He quietly give Adi a hug and walks towards his room. Scared but determined.
Part 2:
Jai is walking towards his room trying to figure out in his head what he is going to tell Bani. Trying to figure out all the ways that he can stop her if she wants to leave him. He clutches the door hand and takes a deep breath straightens his shoulders and walks into the bedroom ready to face whatever is in store for him. What he finds in the room completely breaks his heart. Bani is curled up in a fetal position on the bed one hand clutching a picture of her mother. The bed by her head is completely wet. Jai guesses from her tears. The other hand she has protectively wrapped around her stomach. Jai stood speechless staring at the bed where his whole world lay sleeping completely exhausted and oblivious to the whole world. She had tear streaks on her face but also a smile like she is hiding a secret. Jai knew at he moment that he would fight tooth and nail with the world and himself to protect this one person from shedding even one more tear. He also knew he would probably be the cause of a lot more tears in the future. The helplessness of the situation made it hard for him to breathe. He put bani's head on a pillow and pulled the covers over her. He took the picture and put it right by the pillow so that she could see it as soon as she woke up. He quietly walked out of the room and closed the door.
Adi was in the hallway
A: How is she?
J. Sleeping, broken and its all my fault.
A Right now we have another problem. Massi is packing to leave. She found out everything from jigz about your marriage
Jai was completely stunned. He rushes to massi room and sees her crying and packing.
Jai walks in and slowly sits down on the bed. He seems in a world of his own. He starts talking.
J: Pia ko maine jab dekha to ek ajeeb si khushi mehsoos hoti thi. Woh mera mazak ura ti thi Usse bath cheeth karke mujhe mehsoos hone laga ki meri zindagi se na jane kab hasi chali gayi thi. And I realized that I took myself way too seriously and so did people around me. Kisi ke saath nazdikia nahi thi Aditya ko shor ke. Main hasna sikha phir se. Ye ghar ghar lagne laga.
In the meantime massi had stopped crying and also sat down listening to jai. Adi was standing by the door.
J: Bani ne kaha tha ki ek larki jiske pas kuch bhi nahi hai aur aap use puri duniya dene ka wada karte hai to who rishta pyar ka nahi hota. Maine yeh mana nahi. (laughs) Akhir main Jai Walia hoon. Log to hamesaa mere saath hona chahte hai. This fun full of life girl also wants to be part of my life. Yeh meri galati thi. Then to save my honor I married Bani. Jai Walia ko kissi ko yeh batana para ki uske adhe umar ki ladki use mandap pe chor ke bhag gayi yeh kaise ho sakta hai. Aur phir mujhe Pia aur Bani se apni dushmani bhi nikalni thi. Bani was a worthy opponent of my anger. Pia aur pushkar ceased to exist for me unless I had to see them. Bani became the target of my anger. But she took every little and big piece of insult I threw her way with patience and understanding. I ranted raged and tormented but usne uff tak nahi kiya. She knew I was hurting and she thought hurting her gave me some sort of peace so she put herself in front of me to give me that peace. She put up with everything thing I threw at her when you came because she wanted you happy, because I think she knew that your happiness made me happy. Slowly I have even forgotten where it all started. Pia is not even an afterthought anymore in my life. Somehow that girl sleeping in my room has taken all the pain and bitterness out of my life and filled it with a longing for the future with her.
Jai suddenly stops as if he is waking from a daze and turns and looks at massi
J: I know nothing I can say will take away the hurt I have caused you. My intentions were never that. I just did not know how to tell you that my life had gone so wrong. But now it's not anymore . You here putting me and Bani together all the time gave me a chance to see my wife for who she is. For that I will always be grateful to you. I also don't want you to be mad at Bani. She just wanted to make me and you happy and for that she out up with a lot of abuse from me. She needs you now a lot. She has no mother and at this time both of us need you. Bani found out some things about my past with Roshni tonight that has broken her heart. I really need you to stay here for her and for me. It is really hard for me to say I need you to anyone but I really need you to stay and mujhe aap ki zaroorat hai. Mujhe aise lag raha hai ki meri zindagi tinke ki tarah bikher rahi hai aur mujhe apke sahare ki zarrorat hai meri zindagi ko sametne ke lia. Bani to aapki zarrorat hai. Please ho sake to mujhe maaf kar dijia.
Jai walks out. Massi is stunned and looks desperately at Aditya. Aditya come and hugs her and says that we have to be strong for them. We have to support them and pull them together. Between the two of us we will create a cocoon of love and support around them and hope to god that they are able to find their way back to each other. They need each other more than they need to breathe. They just need to realize that about the other and let the past go.
Jai goes to his study and lays he head back on the couch and closes his eyes. A lone tear creeps down his cheeks.
