Hi!
Kaisi ho? Soap ne phir mera line chura liya abt that frnd couple of urs so what she says is what I wud have liked to......... plz..... I PRAY SHE LIVES TO SEE HER KIDS GROW UP
Seriously, I mean ya, some couples have to face these incredible challenges, when their marriage is barely a few yrs old. An acquaintance of ours in my city died two yrs ago July, of leukemia, leaving behind a 4 yr old son!

Tho we didnt know them personally, we hrd from mutual gujju frnds abt every lil detail abt the illness and abt the trtmnt 😭 the gave him a week and sent him home from the hosp, they took a nurse with them, went to India, to his parents' home, died the morning after he reached there.

She is back to the same house, with her son, living, working............ looks so much BETTER NOW!
The wife lost her Dad when he was diagnosed and treated the first time 5 yrs ago, lost her Mom when it reappeared two yrs ago! 😭
I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO forget this family ever since!
Havent even been introduced............
strangely since it happened............
Each time I am happy, I cant help think of her and pray that she gets nothing but happiness.

I just dont know how I think of her, but I do....... 😭 ❤️

Vazz,
It helps to think abt this frnd of urs and mine, when I go into these unreasonable irrational almost childish bouts of competetion......... about
"Oh why dont I have a 8 bedroom mansion"
"Oh why cant we replace our car with the latest luxe car every yr"
"Oh why doesnt my basement have a home theatre with sorround sound"

It definitely is a CRUEL way to bring myself to ground, but it works!

Life is SO unpredictable............

A good friend of ours.. she is not our age, but has kids who are in their late 20s... she is suffering from parkinsons and they have decided to go back to India for a few years because they have more family there and will be able to recover from the 2 major surgeries that she has had... I must give it to the couple.. the man has been taking such good care of her...its overwhelming to see how much he wants her to get better and also that he is always there for her. The committment to see each other happy was so evident and I felt so emotional to see that... dont know why.. but i did want to share that here.
Sunday was all about yard work and book shops.. 😊

Vazz....thanks for sharing with us! I do agree with Soap and Aditee and pray that she gets better or at least has milder symptoms. It is heartening like Soap said to see such support from her partner and I pray that they make it through these hard times together.

Vazz,

I am sorry to hear about your friend. Believe me I know it is not fun to see your loved one to loose to Parkinsons. My FIL had it. And I saw a tall handsome MAN die slowly and painfully. It is sooo sad. My prayer for your friend. Good thing they decided to go back to India. She needs her family now. We took our FIL back home ( bangladesh) and he passed away after seeing all his sisters and brother...

All you can do for them is PRAY...

Aditee thanks for sharing your experience as well. I actually know a friend whom I'm extremely close to at school right now and who's my major supporter whenever I'm distressed about school who's been through a similar situation. She had a hole in her heart when she was young and had to be treated for that. Then later her brother died of cancer while she was just as young (I think he was 12 at the time) and when she was about my age she was diagnosed with throat cancer. She survived through it and now is married to a wonderful man! A very cute couple they make...she's 4'9" and he's 6'5" but he literally and figuritively is her pillar of support! She has such an amazing attitude to life and makes me think about every little complaint I have with mine! I am blessed I should say to have known her and to have learnt so much from her! I guess you truly do learn from every person you meet in your life 😊
