ok so back to the story..
so there is a knock on the door. For a split second they both freeze and then in one fluid motion jai is shoots up from his chair and flips Bani on her feet right next to him (how did he do that? well uh...mm.... he used to be gymnast when he was younger!!! 😛 😛 )
Before Bani even realises what happened she is standing next to Jai with his arm around her waist. Bani quickly gives him a glance and is amazed to see that Jai looks as unfazed as if all they had been doing was discussing the weather.
Jai: come in
The foreign delegates walk in. Jai greets all of them and then introduces them to his wife Bani.
Jai: Well gentleman we can have this meeting in our boardroom so please proceed (waves towards the connecting door to the boardroom and his office) I will be with you in just a moment. The delegates talking among each other walk into the boardroom, leaving Jai and Bani alone again 😉
Jai: bani I have to attend this meeting. Tum ek kaam karo, khaana khaa lo aur yehi rukoo yeh meeting maximum aadhaa ghanta chalegi fir gher saath chalenge.
Bani: Its ok Mr. Walia. Mai chali jaaongi.
Jai: maine kaha na bani wait for me. I will be done soon.
Bani nods and Jai leaves
Bani takes her plate and goes and sits on the sofa. She doesn't feel like eating anything. She feels tired. really confused and to top it all of, she has this really bad headache coming on. She decides to just close her eyes for a moment...... In 5 minutes she is fast asleep.
In the boardroom the meeting is in progress.
about 40 minutes later....
meeting is still going on, everyone is participating except Jai who is quiet. It seems like he is listening but he is infact in another world---------
Jai (thinking to himself): yeh mujhe kya hoguya hai.. I don't love Bani, I am just attracted to her thats all. I have had many relations in the past. I have dealt with attraction before but this time it seems to have taken up my life. Look at me, JAI WALIA A WORKAHOLIC who lives for his work, for these meetings, can't wait today for it to be over. What the hell is wrong with me and why the hell was I behaving with bani like a bloody 16 year old boy who can't control his hormones. God! Rashmi was right, Bani has done some magic on me.. But god this magic feels good.. All I want to do is pull her in my arms. Tilt her head back and slowly taste those lips. They would taste soooooooo.........mmmmmmm...... soft... sweet... "So jai what's your vote?" Upon hearing his name Jai snapped back to attention and noticed all delegates were looking at him expectantly..
Jai: Excuse me?
One of the delegates: Yours is the only vote left for this proposal. Are you in favour?
Jai had no idea what the hell the proposal was about??
Jai: Well gentlemen! I need some more time to think about this proposal
All delegates looked absolutely shocked.
One of the delegates: But jai this is YOUR proposal. YOU PREPARED IT
Jai (looks cooly at them, as if they are fools): Well than I would think it should be obvious that I am in favour!!!!!!
All delegates laugh thinking jai was joking with them
One of the delegates: Well gentlemen I think that covers up about all the major points and the details can be taken care of on the phone or Email. So Jai, we should all get going now
Jai: Thank you Gentlemen. It was a pleasure to meet you and I am sure It will be a pleasure to work with you.
They all leave and Jai walks back into his office...
He sees bani sleeping on the couch.
Jai thinking to himself: This IS JUST ATTRACTION!! All I want to do is sleep with her and after that she will be out of my system. (An inner voice taunts ) Is that all Jai? Are you absolutely sure thats all there is between you. Is that why, when you came to know that bani was missing for 4 hours you almost died inside? Was it just this attraction that made you want to tear down this entire city to find her? Was it this attraction that made you joke around with Rano today so as to bring a smile on a face of a loved one of Bani's. Is it just attraction that compels you to care for Bani and everyone SHE cares for. Is it attraction that compels you to LOVE HER AND EVERYONE ELSE SHE LOVES. Jai mentally shakes himself and runs a tired hand through his hair. I am just tired, I need a goodnights sleep and by morning I will be just fine aur yeh Bani aur pyaar ka bhoot bhi mere dimaag se uter jaayega. He goes towards Bani and roughly shakes her..
Jai shaking bani: uthoo bani, ghar chalna hai..
She doesn't respond to it..
Jai shaking her more roughly: GET UP DAMMIT!! WE NEED TO LEAVE
Bani mumbling : 5 minute aur .........
Jai: For heavens sake! do you think I am your bloody servant that I will wait till you decide to get up..
Shakes her up more but this time his hand accidently touches her face and he realises she is burning up
Jai: "OH MY GOD!!!"
properly feels her forehead.
Jai: takes her face in both his palms.. Oh sweetheart! Wake up darling! Please God ler her be ok!
He flips out his cell and calls the doctor
