in his early serial "ghar ek mandir" ram played the role of rahul. in that serial prem was his brother and anchal was his sister in law. rahul's lady love was different. but circumstances creat in such a way that he had to married anchal following the death of his brother.

in Kasamh se, he loved pia. bani is pia's sister. again circumstances creat in such a way that he had to married bani as pia ditched him on their wedding day.

in both the serial one thing is common in ram's character. in both one his character was and is very good as a human being. like in ghar ek mandir and in kasamh se he was and is very lovable, caring, having principle in life, understanding nature, mature and more of a family type man. but circumstances change him a lot.

in ghar ek mandir intially there were problems with his wife anchal. he didn't hate her on the contrary respect her a lot but couldn't adjusted himself in relation which was imposed on him. coz he had never dream that his sister in law would became his wife. but then he slowly and steadily fall in love with anchal. he loved anchal so much and gave all the happiness of life to her that every girl wants from her husband.

exactly same position in kasamh se. he has a problem with bani but at the same time he never hate her but respect her a lot. as i said he couldn't adjusted himself in relation which was imposed on him. coz he had never dream that his ladylove's sister would became his wife and his ladylove ran away with a guy who was like a son to him. but when he with full heart fall in love with bani, he will love her like anything and give all the happiness of life to her that every girl wants from her husband.

so, there is lot of similarity between his two character.

Yes, i watched Ghar Ek Mandir...and i can see the connection right there. The circumstances were such, that it changed him a lot.
The ego is bigger in Kasamh Se, and i can understand that part. The reasons they got married are different. In ghar ek mandir it was bcuz his brother died, in KS because Pia ran away - which obviously would make a person like Walia mad

Sort of Similar Characters of Ram Kapoor in Ghar ek Mandir and here
In Ghar ek Mandir he Married the women who was going to b his sister in law and the grl he loved who later on became a Vamp was none other thn Shewta Kawatra who played the character of Mala
and i agree w/uall tht the situation is having lots of difference thn wht was in Ghar ek mandir , here the would b bride runs away , becozz suddently at the 12th hr she realises tht she has done the biggest mistake by betraying her luver, anyways
Jai has lots of ego,and some corner of his heart definetly has a soft corner for Bani, he has tht guilt when he talked to her so damn rudely
Bani is tolerating almost everything bearing rude words and yet she is not complaining, she is calm and quite an tht making him feel worse!
