I was wondering the same thing thing, why did Jai Walia call Dadi, Dadi? Finally I concluded that since she has to be the "Dadi of the house", (and we all know that most tv serials need a Dadi), it is just easier for eveyone to call her Dadi.

all the women on the show are confusing him and messing with his head, he doesn't know what to call anyone anymore, pretty soon he'll start calling jigyasa 'beti' and bani 'bhanji". 😆
