Part 2
"Who called" Karan asked me nicely,
"Sahil's Mamaji called" I told Karan who looked scared of loosing me even I looked scared of loosing him but there was no other way out or else Rasshi's life is destroyed if she doesn't get married to Sahil. I've thought of getting Rasshi abort the child in her, but unfortunately if Rasshi goes through the abortion than there is a chance of her not being able to conceives again in future or chance of her dying through the abortion so my father disagreed with this option and now I am stuck in between.
"Bani, do you want me to come inside with you?" Karan's voice broke my thoughts, I simply told Karan I need to go alone. I waited for Karan's motorbike to disappear before I entered the hotel.
I took a deep breathe before asking the receptionist… "May I please meet the owner of this hotel?"
"Do you have appointment with him?" his receptionist asked me, I simply nodded my head and told her my name….. I watched her pick up the phone and called the owner informing him that I have arrived.
"Madam please go up to the eighth floor turn right and you will see Jai Sir's cabin" she directed me.
"Thank you" I told her before going into the lift….
"Jai whatever you do make sure you think twice" I heard someone telling Jai… maybe his elder brother or his father. But I've heard that his father passed away when he was eight years old than why does he wants to marry me. I knocked on the door… nervous took over me… I wished Karan was standing beside me, but it would look awkward taking your boyfriend to meet your soon to be husband. The thoughts made me sick inside… I heard a deep voice calling me inside… I open the door and walked inside after the other male exit out.
"Please have a seat" he told me while his back was facing me. I was curious to meet him and now why he wanted to marry me in first place.
He turns around….
Bani couldn't even say anything from the shock… just stared at him… finally everything made sense to her about the marriage condition kept against Sahil and Rasshi's marriage.
"Don't think too much because I don't want you to harm my property?" he started to say, which annoyed me a-lot because I am not his property first of all and never will be.
"Excuse me, I am not your property first all and how dare you think of blackmailing me into becoming your wife so you can just have fun with my body" I shouted at him which irritated him a-lot, but how can I forget what he said to me during Karan's cousin sister's wedding.
"Why are you thinking about the past?" he asked me while observing me closely. I smacked myself for wearing pair of jeans pants and shiny tank top to go with it since nobody wears Indian clothes to college or university. I wished if I wore Karan's hoodie on top at least than he wouldn't be starring at my blossom. I knew he was starving for me and his hunger is from last time we met at Karan's cousin sister's wedding.
"Will you stop starring at me?" I shouted at him and crossed my arms over my chest.
"Hey, I can stare at whatever I like" he rubbed into my face which very annoyed me a-lot so I told him to get to the point before my classes starts in few hours.
"Alright" he said to me, afterwards he came near me… I started to freak out in case if he was going to rape me… I have read his eyes full for hunger and he wanted her badly.
"Please say whatever you want from there" but too late he sealed my lips with his lips. I tried pushing him away, but he was stronger than me. And I hate that because this isn't the only time we have kissed. This was our second like last time… he wouldn't even think about the opposite person… does whatever his mind say and for that I slapped him… I don't like it when a man tries to pressure you for sex jut to fill their hunger. Karan never tried to force himself on me but "Jai Walia" does not take "no" for answer from anyone especially from me. His hands traveled up to my bra strap when I pushed him away.
"What's wrong?" he asked me, without say anything I slapped him across his face again like last time at Karan's cousin sister's wedding which took place six years ago.
"Don't you dare touch me again? Also who gave you the right to touch me without my consult? I never let my boyfriend touch me like that and you are trying to take advantage of me because my sister is pregnant with your nephew's child. I don't think so even if I have to marry you just for my sister's sake, but I will never let you take away my virginity long as I live" I told him before leaving his office… my hunger died after what happened in Sahil's Mamaji's cabin… also I didn't feel like going back to classes so I just went over to my mom's sister's house and cried in her arms after explaining her what happened during her meeting with Sahil's Mamaji.
"So what are you thinking now?" my Masi asked me
"What is there left to think about? Whatever I decide will harm Rasshi's life so what's the point of thinking… just tell Baba I have agreed for this marriage. But I promise myself that I will break his ego no matter what happens to me" I explained myself to my Masi. (Guys, there isn't much of age difference between Bani and her Masi. Bani shares, every little thing with her Masi regarding about her life because she is the only mother figure in her life and taught her everything related to womanhood ex-specially about her monthly cycles. Bani would hardly get out of bed during her monthly cycle because they are very painful and hurtful for her. Bani hardly can stand the first two days afterwards everything is normal for her).
"Masi, if you don't mind can I sleep in your lap for awhile?" I asked my Masi who opened her arms for me. I hardly could sleep in her lap without thinking about the first time we met… meaning her and Sahil's Mamaji… Jai Walia… who she hated the most in her life and swore not to meet him again in her life… but this time destiny played its game against me and my thoughts about him… personally I curse myself for attending Karan's cousin sister's wedding on his behalf since his exams were going so he made me go. Indeed I had a blast until I encountered with Jai Walia who tried to take advantage of me several times during the wedding celebration….
Bani could remember the conflict between her and Jai Walia during the sangeet function of Karan's cousin sister Rano's wedding.
