Guys... sorry for the delay in updating, but I wanted to spend some time with my family and plus my Mami is coming soon from India so I am excited... Anyways, enjoy this part and also Jai doesn't know the reason behind why Bani's mother wanted him to marry Bani... only Bani will come to know about the reason behind this marriage through her mother's letter. And its up to Bani if she wanted to tell Jai the truth or not.
Part 4
"Bani, don't be nervous… try to act strong in front of him so he doesn't take advantage of you like your day dream which caused you detention today and if your late after lunch it will be double detention for you… so make this lunch go fast and get the hell out of here" I told myself before I knocked on the door of his cabin.
"Please come inside" I heard a male voice from inside… I took a deep breathe before going inside.
"Have a seat" he told me while he was talking on the phone about costumer complain. I looked around his cabin…I notice my mother's picture with him and some other person… I don't remembering seeing the other person who had her arm wrapped around my mother's shoulders… It felt weird seeing my mother's picture hanged up in his cabin with many other pictures.
"What would you like to have?" he asked me once he put down the phone… indeed he have changed a-lot from last time I saw him six years ago at Karan's cousin sister's wedding… I wonder if he still has the same desire I saw in his eyes six years ago… some things were making clear to me why he wanted to marry me, but still I don't understand why… he repeated himself "what would you like to have?"
"Nothing right now" I told him after taking a deep breathe… for now everything was going smooth than my dream… thank god it's only a dream or else I would have killed myself instead of marrying him.
"Can I ask you a question?" I finally build up courage to ask him while he observes me… I could feel his gaze toward my dressing style… it showed that he hates modern clothes on his property, but I am not his property and never will be even if I marry him for Rasshi's sake.
"Sure" he replied while he worked on his laptop, I asked him why he wanted to marry me and why he kept a condition like that which he gives me a letter. I looked at him confusingly why he was handing me a letter which had my name... finally I heard him say… that my mother left this letter with him and wanted him to give it to her incase her younger sister Pia forgot to give it to you.
"Are you trying to say my mother left this letter with you and my Masi also have the same letter which you are giving to me?" I asked him confusingly because nothing was making sense to me now.
"Yes" he replied before getting up from his seat… he walked toward me… my fear took over me until he held my hand in his hand. "I know everything must be a joke to you but read this letter than you will understand everything why I kept this condition on Rasshi and Sahil's marriage. At first it won't make sense to you but at least try to understand your mother before you jump to any conclusion also can I ask you a question."
I simply nodded my head…
"Did you never get any nightmares where you are dressed as a bride at the age of nine?" he asked me, I couldn't believe my ears because I never shared my nightmares with anyone except for Masi.
"How did you know?" only thing came out my mouth.
"Maybe, this letter will answer your question. Read this letter while I go to attend a problem which came up afterwards we will have lunch before your last period." I was double shock… how could he know much about me which I haven't shared with Karan except for Masi… anyways, I started reading my mother's letter after he left me alone in his cabin.
~ Bani's mother's letter ~
Bani my child… I know there are many questions in your head regarding about everything happening in your life recently or going to happen in your life and for that you will have hear this mini story I am going to tell you of my life. Before I carry on with the story, Jai doesn't know the entire truth and I am letting you make the call weather he needs to know or not. Also I know my daughter will understand her mother and why I did this to you….
Bani being the only child of Rajveer Sharma… I was a spoiled girl from both side of my father's family and my mother's family. My marriage was fixed with Mohan Khandelwal… I hardly liked him but for the sake of my father I married him even though I loved Nishikant Dixit. During the wedding night, Mohan found out about my love for Nishikant and he raped me that night. I felt like killing myself at the moment… each day he would come home drunk and force himself on me. I would cry in pain, but my tears hardly matter to him. One day I went for a check up… I found out that I was pregnant by three months… I didn't want your father to know about you so ran away that night with my cousin sister Pia.
We hardly had a place to stay properly, slowly nine months pass by and you came into my world. The moment I saw your innocent face… I became over protective mother… I didn't want my past to come in front of me so I left toward my birth place Mt. Abu where I met my favorite Krishna Auntie… she was like a mother figure to me… her son Jai is like my best friend who stands on my side… also everyone would say, I was Krishna Auntie's baby girl because she pampered me more than Jai. I still remember the day, when he held you in his arms… he became attach to you at that moment… even you loved being in his arms… you would laugh or smile each time when he held you in his arms.
Slowly eight years pass by…
I was so happy that my daughter Bani turn 9yrs old, but I never knew that my past would come in front of me in Mt. Abu after many years. I was scared out of my mind… I didn't know what to do but I was scared of him taking you away from me. I've seen you grow up with the Walia and Bali… when I saw you with Jai… I knew he was the right man for my daughter… I know the age difference might be a problem but still I asked him to marry you because I wanted him to protect you from your own father Mohan.
Finally one day, he agreed to marry you after I gave him my kasam which he couldn't break… so I got you married to him but because of your age I kept you beside me. Pia, your Masi was mad with me getting you married at a very tender age… she hardly talked with me but after knowing the truth I went through she forgave me and asked me to marry Nishikant. Nishikant also wanted to marry me after knowing about my past… we got married… he loves you a-lot like his own daughter.
Slowly time moved on… I was pregnant with (Rasshi) at the moment… Nishikant never left my side… Pia moved to Mumbai to focus on her education and you also went along with her. Two weeks later, I've been admitted in the hospital... six hours later another baby girl is born to me and I named her Rasshi because of her smile... Doctors say - that I have less time to live because my interral beelding got worse... so I am leaving this later with Jai - my friend and your husband - and one with your Pia Massi. Please accept this marriage for me, Bani.
