This is actually a true story that even in the 21st century happened in my country....where fathers lost their very young daughter in gambling to someone who was trice as their age...based on this story a movie was made i watched that movie and so just idea popped in my head....

Dhani has given me the job to write an epilogue for this story in my own words...now i'm not sure if you guys wan an epilogue....but if you do then i will write short one when i'm free...

p.s. i have another idea in my head...again this is true story...and currently it is still happening in UK....i wanted to write it but i'm really busy doing my assignment as i'm finishing school in next two months and then my 18 birthday is coming up and also my house is getting refurbished...if any of you guys are interested in writing it then please PM me i tell you the idea and you guys can write it and post it....but no jothas or chaples this time...hehe...

Sorry guys, I was so caught up with my book that I couldn't think of writing the next part!!!! It is a wonderful book, just finished it, highly recommended for people who like to read things other than mush and romance!!! "The Inheritance of loss" is a spell-bounding book; at least every Indian should read it (based on insurgency in India during 1989). So is my next book "The White tiger", I have just started reading it, brilliantly opened about the hypocrisy in India and how foreigners perceive India and we perceive our own country!!! Again a must read!!!!

So, here goes the last part!!! The epilogue has been penned by sonam, since it was her story; I wanted her to write the ending of it!!!

PART -6

Bani settled in the bed, slightly groaning, the past few months was tiresome and grueling with no jai around, he was struck up due to some legal litigations which were never ceasing to end, she was forced to do all the house work by Krishna and jigyasa, she clutched her swollen abdomen, it was paining a bit, she took her medicine and laid back, she looked sideways, she missed jai's smiling face, and the warmth of his arms around her…it was so strange, her marriage to a complete stranger, a ruthless man who was older than her, who initially treated her nothing more than just a wife from whom he derived pleasure, but suddenly his change of behavior, and how he tried to incorporate things, and after that their blissful journey together, and their child who would be coming in just about 2 months' time…

(She is nearly 7 months pregnant, you do the calculations)

Within no time sleep enveloped her…mostly because of doing all the work…
++++++

Krishna and jigyasa left no stone unturned to torture bani, they didn't even care for the child she was carrying in her womb, since there was a lack of communication jai couldn't contact them, the phone lines were weak, and whenever he called Krishna and jigyasa would pretend as if there was disturbance and they couldn't hear him properly…and bani could do nothing but just stare at their antics, she hadn't even had the energy to cry aloud…

The court formalities and legalities were taking up too much time, especially the local courts, they were too lethargic and complacent…Jai had no option but to stay there for a few months, but his mind and thoughts were centered around bani and their child, but there was a certain amount of reassurance in his that his mother and sister would take care of her…

There were times when he felt like running away and going to the bani, but he was committed to his work…he couldn't leave it mid-way…there were other lives depended on him as well…
++++++
Bani was putting the utensils away when a sharp pain erupted in the lower part of her abdomen, she clutched the bottom of her abdomen hard, the pain was unbearable, she somehow managed to walk into the living area, she looked here and there for help, but it was deserted, then she remembered that Krishna and jigyasa had gone to some wedding and will not return till a week…

"Maa…" she yelped in extreme pain…she was not understanding anything; the pain was only multiplying every passing second… her breathing increased, she was almost panting, she was wet with the profusely flowing sweat, she could feel something happening to her, but was completely ignorant about it, tears fell out of her eyes, tears of frustration, anger, helplessness…she managed to sit on the couch but the pain didn't subside…

"Maa…" she wiled again in deep agony…

++++++
Jai parked the car, he was so excited to have finally come home, his steps quickened, he was almost running inside the house, the moment he opened the door, his feet froze, his heart-beat stopped seeing the sight in front of him…his bani was crying in pain…wretched and alone, for a moment he was zapped not knowing what to do, gaining his senses back he rushed to her…

"Jaii…" bani screamed holding his shirt in a tight fist…

"Bani…main aagaya hoon..bani, kuch nahin hoga, bani…" jai patted her slowly…

"Maa…maa…" bani repeated… again and again…

"Maa, jigyasa, kahaan ho…" he shouted searching for them…bani held onto him more tightly…shaking her head in negative…

"Maa…" she cried again…

Jai jumped and went to call the neighbors…and the village dai maa (the lady who helps women give birth in villages)...…within no time…the village ladies assemble din the hall holding bani…trying to figure out what was actually happening…

"Shayaad waqt se pehle bacha ho jayega…" an elderly lady said…examining bani's pulse-rate…

Jai came with kiran, who was frantic and crying…she went towards bani, holding her…

"Beta, main maa, dekho…" kiran said…bani opened her eyes slightly…quite releieved to have her…

"Beta, tum bhaahr jao…shayaad bacha hone walaa hain…" the grey-haired dai maa said to jai…he looked mortified…

"Bacha…" he whispered…

"Jao beta…" she insisted…

Nahin main bani ke saath rahoonga…" saying jai stormed inside, almost shocking everybody…the men were not usually allowed inside, the women did their thing, but bani's terrifying cries were increasing…jai held bani's palms in his, softly pressing it…

"Bani, kuch nahin hoga…bani…main hoon na…" he said trying to soothe her…

"Jaiii….mujhe darr…" she couldn't complete her words and her water broke…the dai maa, pushed her legs up, covering them with a blanket…
++++++
The silent room reverberated with a shrill cry of the baby…jai's eyes were fixed only on bani, who looking pale and helpless…her face drenched in sweat…

"Mubarak ho beta hua hain…" the dai maa announced and handed it to jai…jai looked a this son, he was thin, maybe due to being a bit pre-mature, but his eyes were huge, just like bani…he gingerly held him, careful not to hurt him…a beautiful sensation swept through him…as he touched their son…

"Bani…dekho…humara beta…" jai said to her lightly…bani opened her eyes…they were white, as if all the have been sucked out of her eyes…bani looked at the little bundle snuggling in jai's arms…red with crying…bani extended her arms…jai placed their son in her arms…a smile appeared on bani's face… …
++++++
"Maaji, main chhata hoon, aap thode din ke liye bani ke saath rahen…" jai said requesting kiran to stay back, since bani needed someone, specially her mother during this time…

"Theek ahin beta…" kiran said…she decided she would call pia and rano also, probably bani would feel better…

Jai looked at ban's sleeping figure; the baby was also sleeping besides her…

He walked out of the room…before tears spilled out of his eyes…he sat on the steps… like a zombie, anger engulfing him towards his mother and sister who were nowhere to be seen…
++++++
Bani was recovering, she was weak though, but jai, kiran and her sisters made sure she ate at regular intervals, she was completely on bed-rest, jai decided that once bani would be more fine he would take her to the doctor…

"Aap yahaan ruke, uska bohot dhanyawaad…" jai…

"Bani keliye itna toh kar saki…" kiran said remorselessly…

"Aap kabhi bhi aake bani ko dekh sakti hain…"

"Hmm..beta, aap bani ka khayaal rakhenge na…" kiran folded her palms in a namaste…

"Jee" jai said…

Kiran, pia and rano left, after meeting bani…
++++++
Jai stood in a corner, his eyes blazing with unleashed anger…as he saw Krishna and jigyasa enter, smiling heartily, carrying their bags…

"Maa…" jai shouted in an icy cold voice…Krishna and jigyasa looked stunned…

"Jai beta, tu aagaya…" Krishna said smilingly…

"Aap dono hi himmat kaise hui bani ke saath who sab kuch arne ki…it nab hi khyaal anhin aaya ki uske pet main ek bacha hain…"

"Jai, nahin, hum kyun…bani ne jhoot…" jigyasa said but was shut up by a tight slap across her face…

"Ek aur shabd kaha toh jaan se maar daloonga…" he thundered…

"Aap abhi iss ghar se nikal jaayiye…ramu kaka, inka samaan bahar phenkiye…" he roared…

"Jai…par…" Krishna intervened; jai lifted his hand indicating to stop her…

"Aap chup chap ek kamre main padi rhengi, aap meri maa hain issiliye main kuch nahi kar sakta…aur agar bani kea aaspass bhi nazar aayin, toh mujhse bura koi nahin hoga…" jai went away…

Jigyasa picked up her bag and left crying…where would she go???? She reluctantly decided to go back to her husband and children…
++++++
Jai covered bani with the blanket, after feeding her properly…he peeped to see their son sleeping soundly in the wooden cradle…switching off the lights with just the bed-side lamp on, he left the room…

He came down, into the kitchen, and started arranging the things, washing the utensils, wiping them clean and keeping them inside…he was so busy in his task that he didn't notice bani standing at a distance…watching him closely…

"Bani…kya hua…" he asked concerned…

"Kuch nahin, bas need nahin aa rahin hain…" she answered…

"Jao, so jao…tumhe araam karma chahiye…"

"Aap yeh sab kyun kar rahen hain, aapko kahaaan ata hain…main karti hoon…"

"Nahin bani, main karloonga, tum so jao…"

Bani looked at him, confused, he was so pampered that he needn't do all this, for the past two-three weeks he looking after her, not even going to his work…she wondered such a pompous man could be so normal, and do household stuff…

"Bani, jao…" he commanded…

"Aap kuch chupa rahen hain…" bani said, his eyes were sad and gloomy for the past few days… he was not talking much either…

"Main kya chupaoonga bani, tum jao…" he said…

"Aap mujhe nahin bataenge…" she asked a bit hurt…

"Acha bataoonga, tum jao…"

"Nahin abhi…"

Jai shook his head; she could so stubborn at times…he picked her up…

"Jaiii…utariye mujhe…" she protested…jai carried her to their room and laid her on the bed…

"So jao…bani…" he said…he was about to leave when she held his wrist…

"Aap mujhse pyaar karte hain…" she asked, jai looked surprised…

"Haan…"

"Toh mujeh batayenge nahin kya baat hain…"

Jai sighed…he came near her…sleeping besides her…she rested her head on his chest…

"Bani…mere pitai chahte the ki main Docotr banoon, aur gaon waalon ki madad karoon…unhone mujeh sheher bheja, main hostel main tha tab sab kaam khud hi karta tha, main second year main tha, mere exams the jab mujhe gaon se khabar milli ki mere pitaji ki tabiyaat bohot kharab thi, main exams chodke a gayaa, jab tak main pahoonch tab tak woh chal basse…kuch dinon baad main wapas university jaane waala tha, jab maa ne mujhe rok liya, kahaa ki, khet aur baaki kaamon ko smbhaloon, bas main ruk gaya…phir kaam karne laga, dost bhi ban gaye…kuch dosotn ne zabardasti mujhse jua khilaya, aur woh kab aadat si ban gayi pata hi nahin chala, maa neb hi kuch nahin kahaa, shyaada who rokti toh…

Bani…jab maine tumhe us din rote, hue dekha tha, toh mera dil choor choor hogaya, tumhe lachaar aur bebas dekh kar mujhe apne upar ghin aa rahin thi, shayaad emre pitaji bhi aise hi tadpe the…kaash amin unki icha poori kar sakta tha, kash main wapaas chala gaya hote, kash main in gaon waalon ke liye kuch kar sakta…kash bani…" jai broke down crying…all the pent up feelings and emotions within him flowed down with those tears…bani hugged him tight…

"Hum, humare bete ko doctor banayenge…aapka aur pitaji ka sapna humare beta poora karega…" bani said slowly…

Jai hugged her tight, finding solace in her truthful, comforting words…
++++++
Jai made bani sit in the seat properly, he had brought her to the doctor for a full check-up of bani and the child, bani needed to gain some weight, but she was fine, the baby was also fragile and susceptible to diseases, but proper care and hygiene would ensure his safe , they had to come next week for the baby's vaccinations….jai made a mental note that he would take protection this time…and be more careful, he couldn't afford to jeopardize bani's health again…

"Jai…" bani called out….

"Hmmm…"

"Mujhe ek baar maa, bauji se milna hain…" she asked…

"Theek hain, main raaste main tumeh chod deta hoon…"

The car stopped before a small rickety house…bani got down with the baby…

"Tum jao bani, mujhe thoda kaam hain, bohot dinon se gayaa nahin, main lene aajaaonga…" jai said bani nodde dehr ehad and made her way inside…

++++++

Kiran came and hugged bani as she saw her entering…

"Kaisi hain tu…" she asked caressing her hair…

"Main theek hoon maa…" bani let out a weak smile…

"Aa na…" kiran took her inside…and made her sit…pia and rano came out…

Arvind looked at bani from a distance…

"babuji…" bani called out spotting him…

Arvind came near her in slow steps…joining his hands, he stood before her with a bowed head…

"Mujhe maaf kar de beti…main tera gunegaar hoon…"

"Maine aapko maaf kar diya bauji…bas, aap badal jaiye…"

Arvind cried out…

"Wadaa kijiye bauji aap fir kabhi jua nahn khelenge…" bani asked hopefully…

"Wadaa karta hoon beta…aaj ke baad amin wahaan nahin jaoonga…"

Bani smield…"Apne pote ko nahin dekhenge…" she said encouragingly…Arvind came ahead to see his grandson…
++++++
"Aapne koi naam socha hain…" bani asked while feeding the baby…

"Umm…nahin…" jai said…thinking hard to find a suitable name…

"Krish kaisa rahega…" bani said tentatively…jai's face lit up…

"Bohot acha hain…Krish jo sabki zindagi ko roshan karega…Krish Walia…" jai said feeling a sense of pride…

Bani smiled… …
++++++

😭I feel so bad for Bani. She was made to do all those things and couldnt even talk to Jai. Jai didnt knew a thing and thought she was all right all the time. Also Jai's story was very touching. I really dont know whether his mother wanted him to take care of their property for real or whether she wanted a comfortable lifestyle and therefor made him stay back and take care of everything. Wonderful Dhani!!
Sonam, wonderful Idea for a story. Wish you a happy birthday in advance,

Hi
Happy birthday in advance.
And as for the story can we have the epilogue. It was nice to see that the evil two had met with their own end. And Bani has now made peace with her father. Like the redeemed Jai though first he was nothing but a brute. So his sweet wife did bring about a good change in him. So when will the next staroy happen.
