This is making the actor very insecure about his position in the show. He has also been having some problems with respect to payment and is therefore believed to have informed Ekta of his decision to move on.
Ankit Nagpal, the Creative Head of the show, says, "It has been more than 2 years since Ram has been in Kasamh Se and he is still there. But yes his contract is getting over in January which I am sure he'll be renewing."
Ram Kapoor has played the male lead of Kasamh Se right from the very start. Even as his female lead Prachi Desai moved onto Bollywood, Ram continued to hold fort. But recent rumours suggest that Kapoor has had enough and wants to move on and is therefore not very keen on renewing his contract in January.
"There is no truth in this news. It's just a rumor that is being spread," refutes Ajay Balwankar, the Programming Head of Zee, "Ram is still very much a part of Kasamh Se."
On the personal front, Ram's wife Gautami is expecting their second child. She is expected to deliver in January.
Ram Kapoor remained unavailable for comment.
