Who does she want to marry this season
Very often, the 'Kyon Ki' lady of television, Ekta Kapoor, has been associated with the leading man of her serials. Serial out, man over. A new season comes, a new episode starts, a new man is unwittingly lead to no hope.
First it was Aman Verma, who played the character of 'Anupam Kapadia' in 'Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. "He is my childhood friend, and the one I want to grow old with", declared Ekta at one point of time. Was the unrequired character, especially etched by her, to accommodate Aman Verma in 'Kyunki Saans Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi'. Sadly, the rumours faded as fast as the character in the serial.
After that came Ram Kapoor, the protagonist Of 'Kasam Se'. Rumours had it that this time, it was the so-called, Mr Jai Walia, that Ekta had a crush on. Was it because of their identical surname, or yet another stunt by Ekta, to raise the TRP of her serial. With the character and looks of both Anupam Kapadia and Jai Walia being poles apart, we wonder what exactly was it that she was looking for in her prince charming.
The confusion hadn't died as yet, when she recently went on to declare her liking for Ronit Roy, and that her ideal choice for a husband would be someone like him. On being asked, if her infamous 'K' factor would be instrumental in choosing her husband or not, she quoted, "If he is good-looking, tall and handsome, the 'K' won't matter. He should be like Ronit - handsome".
Well if that is so, how does Karan Johar come into picture then? Kabhi out Kabhi in?
The latest buzz is her link-up with Karan Johar, but where did the 'tall and handsome' criterion disappear then? More importantly, the million dollar question is, is Ekta contemplating to cast Karan in her next soap as her protagonist. Television has seriously gone to the dogs!
Maybe her habit of dragging her soaps for ages has severely taken a toll on her senses. Just like her serials, she is yet to decide the kind of man she wants to be with.
