Here is the next part. Wo word for late update. Hope u all ike it.
So far the story is Jai sets mermaid free from evil Baldev. But Baldev is adamant on getting that mermaid. Jai feels some connection between that mermaids n him. So he feels curious to meet her. On asking upon when to meet mermaid replies that "when sky illuminates then I will think that fate wants us to meet. That time we can meet. By saying this she goes from there. Jai illuminates sky by flying lanterns all over the sky. By seeing the light she comes above the sea n is mesmerized by looking at the sea. At the same time Jai comes there in a boat.
Part-10
50 Years back
She was surprised to find him there. He bent and sat at the edge of the boat. She came somewhat close to him.
What is your name? He asked.
My name is Tanu Sree she replied.
I had a sister who passed away when I was young and her name is Tanu Sree he said.
There was someone who gave me that name. Shall I tell you that story? She asked. He nodded in yes.
Flashback.
That is summer 20 years back
There was a child who came to visit his grandparent's house to play at the beach. He came to beach along with some local children to play there. They all were playing there.
Can you swim all the way there? Asked one child.
Of course I can reply that child.
Go then... Go encouraged remaining children. Taking it as a challenge he went deep inside the sea. Then he started drowning in to the sea. Then he saw a young girl coming towards him. He is shocked to see mermaid. She came to him, caught his hand and took him to the shore.
My name is Jai. What's your name? He asked.
She remained silent. If you don't have a name, I will make one for you he said. She smiled.
Let's make your name Tanu Sree. That is my sisters name she died he said. From then both became friends. He started playing with her.
After that summer, the child returned to his village. But whenever he has the chance he tried his best to return to the beach by crying or doing anything that could get him to the village.
Father let me go. Please father please. He is crying rolling on the floor.
Okay but after coming back from your grandparents house, will you work hard in your studies? His father asked.
Within a minute he sat on the floor and said "Yes, I will do my best in Studying. Like this he used to visit the beach whenever he got chance. Like this years passed both are enjoying each other company. The child allowed the mermaid to eat food she had never tasted before from the land and allowed her to do beautiful things for the first time. These two children spent time together like that and grew up together.
He turned 18, marriage talks are going in his house.
As usual he came to her. He gave flowers to her which he bought. She is playing with them. They both are sitting on rock which is near ocean and her tail is in water.
He turned to her and said Marriage talks are going on in my house. Probably they will finalize by this month end and marriage will happen in next month start. I am going to get married.
"What is getting married? she asked.
"I have to live with another girl. I can only protect and like her. He said.
Then, you can't come to the beach anymore? She asked.
I don't know he said. You can't live on land he asked.
"It becomes possible when I turn into an adult. I heard that if mermaids go onto land, they produce legs. But not now. There is still time for me. She said.
I don't want to leave you. I don't want to protect and like another girl. I don't want to live with her forever, if she is not you. He said to her.
"But what can we do? I can't go on to land and you can't live in water. By saying this with sad face she jumped into water and went into the sea.
He sat there sadly and went from there. His marriage happened with another girl. On the day of their wedding night he left his wife. He rode for several days heading for the ocean.
Tanu...Tanu ...he shouted when he came to the beach but she didn't came. He knows that the mermaid would definitely appear to save him from drowning. He aimlessly went into the sea. He started drowning deep into the sea. She came to him, caught him and kissed him. He too kissed her back.
But he didn't know one thing that mermaids have a special ability that by kissing a human, they can erase memories of themselves from that person.
Just like that the mermaid disappeared like sea foam from the child's memory.
He opened his eyes. He is shocked to find that he is in the beach. He is surrounded by fishermen.
Why I am here? He asked with a confusing face.
Flashback ends
"My wife died from a lung disease after marriage. Right up to her death she resented me for running away on our first night. I just couldn't remember no matter what I ran away that night. He said.
Taking a deep breath he slowly saidAm I that boy?
She came slightly towards the boat and looked into his eyes.
Present
Rishi is falling deep inside ocean. She came towards him and held him through waist. He looked down and is shocked to see her mermaid form. She leaned towards him and kissed him deleting every memory of her in his mind.
He is lying on the beach. Suddenly woke up with cough. First he didn't understand why he is here. He then remembered running from goon's n fighting with goons and falling from cliff in to the ocean all alone.
Ah why did I jump off from there? I must be crazy. He scolded himself.
"Ah headache by saying this he caught his head. Then he realized there is a bracelet to his hand.
"What is this? he asked himself confusingly but didn't understand anything.
He is in flight leaving. She is in ocean watching flight disappearing into clouds sadly.
He came to the Mumbai airport. He wore cap so that no one recognizes him. He is leaving the airport. Continuous news is playing in the airport which he didn't notice.
Breaking news: An imprisoned murder suspect in Mumbai detention center is escaped. He has been under the medical care for seizure. The officials released a picture of the murder suspect, Guljeet Khuranna, who is in his 40's.
Rishi came out of the airport took taxi and went to his house.
