guys wat do u thnk Replacmnt in daily soaps how much affects an actor's career ?

if a main lead heroien doing a cameo in a serial but after certain tym of period he or she get replace then it will affect his her career in a Postive way IF PH brought them back BUT in same case a person who replaced previous Star n will try to Fit in his/her shoes failed to seek same love / attention from Fans will his/her career will get affect ?

it means somtyms Replacmnt wrks n smtyms NOT .. ?

or it means a person who is going to replace the origional star shlould thnk before taking place of previous star in a soap?

or in case of new comer replacing xperienced star will take a RISK for his/her career while Repalcng somone in a serial ?

or an Experienced star will Replace an experienced STAR then there ll b NO harm in taking ths RISK ..

so i want a healthy debate n share ur xperiences too if u faced REPLACMNT in ur fav shows ..

if i talk about my experience of Replacmnts .. i saw Kasturi .. ekta tried to replace Shubhangi Atre (Kasturi) BUT TRP was not in favour so she canceled her plan of replacing her n kept her ORIGIONAL heroine against Karan Patel in Kasturi serial n turned other paralel Negatve ..

Then in Punar Vivah .. Shashi Summe Mitals brought season 2 of PV n replaced ArYa / Gurika Gurmeet-Kratika Both n Drama ended in 3 Mnths n season 1 completed 1.5 year successfully ..

i faced only 2 experienced regarding my favourite serials ..

ONE last thing it means FANS will decide whether thy accepting REPLACMNTS or NOT ?

please i want u all to do a healthy debate n reach towards a Conclusion.. 😊

obviously it effects...somtyms negatively and somtyms positively...sometimes u can't carry the character like the pevious actor did...it all depends on ur skills and ur presence onscreen..thats all

so it depends on Acting Skills too? NOT just the Fans .. lik thy were addicted to the previous Stars

ur bond / ur connectivity wth ur own character and Viewers means Alot if u r going to Replace somone

my point is that only...like when u have ability to attract people towards you...so much so that they can't accept anyone else on ur place...thats means you have those skills..it means that you have such strong presence onscreen..that people loves u soo much...and there u gain fans and viewers...so yeah skills and personality and fans and viewers both has major roles in replacements

It can affect both positive or negative ways tabir. It actually depends on the situation. If the person who plays the character is really popular then replacement never works and sometimes it goes for supporting roles too.But if can give that character a new identity throw your acting prowess then it might sometimes work. I can give you an example here if heard the serial name dil mil gaye. The female lead opposite ksg was played by Shilpa Anand who was really popular for her character Ridhima and sadly she left the show because of some other commitments.After her exit two actress played her character and all those actress gave different identity to Ridhima and surprisingly all are still known as Dr Ridhima.

I used to be a regular viewer of that show but post Shilpa's exit I might have missed her for few episode but then these actresses never made me feel like ' I am unable to connect because I can see only shilpa in this role'. So replacement works only the new one is as good as the old one if not better or bestest. Of course sometimes fan base matters too or the new person should suit the character. But it seems makers forget about these issues

Wow I see a dmg fan here...but I was on the opposite spectrum to u...I quit the show when SA left...n was part of a fan group who made it possible to bring her back... but unfortunately she was not brought back as main lead...stubborn cvs

So I guess replacements can work both ways but for me personally it's a big No... as it's the actors who make me love the characters/storyline
