Thank you for the insightful comment. It is so true - Indian girls grow to be giving and nurturing even at the cost of great personal sacrifices. Like you mentioned Tanu is no exception - perhaps this has something to do with the fact that she is willing to give up Rishi in order to keep her Aunt and cousin happy!

And yes, you are right - Tanu may be also 'having a mild/unrecognized form of PTSD from all the trauma.=

I totally agree with u dear 👍🏼
but still I feel CVs should make tanu more strong & fight for her self respect
bcoz now a day viewer doesn't like much of crying doll
I love kartika a lot so I don't want to see her in crying doll roll 😒
I want to see kartika as strong confidence girl
I hope soon we can see that tanu will throw her so called chacha chachi out of the house
I just cant describe how much I hate them & rishi's mom 😡
love u kartika u r the best ❤️

Thank you @cuteariya for the supportive comment.

The CVs plan to show a strong Tanu - if you see the new banner. Tanu is upfront while Rishi is behind. Tanu is looking straight ahead with a determined face - this is where the track is going.

Now, Tanu is refusing Rishi. This will make Rishi all the more adamant at finding out the truth about Neha. Rishi will play a key role in exposing Bani and company. All of these events and Rishi's support will help Tanu become strong!! 😊😆

we all know Indian daily soaps have "tyaag ki devi -- main female lead", no matter what amount of torment you put her emotionally or even physically, she would never change her Devi avatar. No logic, plain stupid.

Again, a matter of opinion.

The Logic Behind Tanu's Behavior

Is it not natural for her to be depressed after the traumatic event? Definitely. Is she suffering from Major Depression that requires the care of a physician? No - but she her coping mechanisms have gone haywire. Her social behavior is maladaptive. Her cognitive view of herself and the world about her is distorted. She blames herself and feels helpless - she feels she has no control over her life or events. This is the reason for her passivity (in contrast to the doer that she initially was shown to be). This is the reason for her meekly accepting all that Chachi dishes out to her. This is her reason for believing Chachi and for rejecting Rishi - because the feeling of helplessness and dejection are a negative cycle that choke initiative and feeling of self-efficacy.

The CVs are showing a Tanu who in a reactive depression state is self-destructive that is true to life. It is certainly not illogical!!!

You have done a very good analysis which is believable but I think you are giving the CVs more credit than they actually deserve. They haven't put any such thought behind Tanu's actions. They just want to show her as meek because that's what they think sells.

As per CVs there won't be any drama if she is a strong and more importantly logical character. So they are sticking with the same formula. But your description is very good and I wish that were the real reason.

Every person is entitled to their opinion. Some like to think others do not plan their story, others like to believe that they do. To each their own 😊
