why chand why not a phone call

why did tanu's father and rishi's father never had contact for all these years...why should tanu be made to wait hopelessly for 15yrs...they could have been very much in touch with each other with phone calls,video calls,emails etc ... why only after 15yrs suddenly they should get to know that rishi has married a firangi :P...
logic should be ignored,still the whole story is based on this plot so could not ignore it ...

Yes. I dont think its too much biggest illogical thing becaz rishi tanu when told this chand niharna that time was kids so definately that time was rare to phone call. So CV put it.

i will stop to watch india tv totally. Because its each and every shows and movies have holy shits.so just chilling

The show started off with a backdrop of a village where I am assuming in those days not everyone was literate enough to operate computers let alone use email. Even if Tanu's parents sent out letters, itd probably take ages to reach SF due to lack of technology in those days. I am guessing this could be the reason why communication wasnt possible, and it only happened after technology reached the villages of punjab. You must have noticed that it was ahana who knew how to send an email, her parents had no clue. This is why i think the plot isnt completely illogical.

still there must be some kind of phone contact for that village and rishi father must have taken that no and called once in a while to that number when tanu father could also reach there n attend the call...and at the moment they have smart phones and a computer at home and both ahana and tanu are educated... so if not 15yrs atleast 5yrs back they could have started a much regular contact with each other...

Could also be that over the years the families changed their address and phone numbers numerous times..even if they wanted to contact someone it just wasnt an option after a while.. who knows maybe rano had been hiding letters over the years? we dont know what exactly happened..

like you said there is usually no logic in EK shows and because of her captivating beginnings for all her shows i cant stop myself from watching 😆😆 We just have to keep logic aside and focus only on the entertainment while watching her shows
