Jo Rangbhoomi mein Arjun ke bano k saamne nhi jhuka..
Woh nazuk nazaro k saamne jhuk gya...

Loving this shy young man who is hesitant to talk to women in general it seems and here this beautiful woman is taking him heads on .He is blushing in such cute way when she looks at him being smitten by his charm...this experience with woman is different for our Vasusena😃

.first she barges into his room when he is taking bath and now she asks him to sing or play music.. Uruvi is trying to bring out this soft side of karn unknowingly perhaps..trying to simplify him... By questioning him and challenging him in her own way...

Would love to see another side of karn less explored.. 😳

Nadey Brahmanasvashyasya Swampi Jeevitam.
Sada Strina priyo nitya data Chava Maharatartha !!

Meaning of sanskrit verse

There was nothing, not even his life, that he could not give away unto the Brahmanas. He was favourite of ladies, exceedingly liberal, and a mighty car-warrior.

Sada strina priyo karn ha

I wouldn't call it softening or simplifying. I think it's more basic than that. She's a princess, a spoilt brat who's used to getting what she wants but she's got her head firmly on her shoulders.
So that arrogant side of her just wants this man she's impressed with to do things just for the heck of it.
Right now she's enamoured by him on one hand but doesn't wanna show it and her arrogance and pride wants to get the better of her attraction to him and he's being amazingly victimised. 😆

I mentioned about this in one of my post , but I didn't had the quotation at hand , thank you so much Vrish bro for providing it . 🤗 Saved it promptly.

Could you possibly find the quotation for me where Hashthinapur ladies will gather around to see him after his bath 😳

I agree completely with your interpretation, Najma.

I did not like her taking advantage of the poor chap being isolated among so many giggly females, and trying to make a performing bear of him. I was pleased to see how neatly he turned the tables on her!! 😆

Hi Aunty! What's up? 🤗 I highly doubt your remembering me but I used to be on Jodha Akbar Forum. XD Recently, I was re watching Jodha Akbar and wanted to go through some interpretations on the Forum and actually went back a 1000 Forum Pages and read a lot of your posts from those many years ago. And I have also read some of your posts on this Forum. Super glad you are here to add your experienced tadka here. 😉😆
So, I actually loved it that Urvi was making things so tough for him. She held him responsible for no fault of his. In front of beautiful maidens in those days, chivalry demanded a man to bow down and leave without glancing at them. 😆 But here she was blaming him for that too, that he was turning away from them. In effect she meant he wasn't noticing her as unabashedly that she was noticing him. In common terms, woh usko ghaas nahi daal Raha tha 😆
I am like What the, lady. So he's supposed to appreciate your beauty and then get punished for being shameless. And if he behaves like a gentleman, you punish him for not taking initiative. 😆 I loved her hypocrisy driven by attraction.

Also, I don't think Karn was turning tables. I think that's the contrast here. Urvi is mischievous, and witty and plays games. Karn here plays no games. He's downright earnest and straightforward. Urvi is as tedha as he's straightforward. Which is what is automatically turning tables against her. I am loving this Karn too .😳

My dear Najma,

My apologies for not recognising you at once. In my Jodha Akbar PM list, there were four 123s: you, Shubha, Deya and sw.
I couldn't place you after nearly 5 years.

I am flattered that you re-read my old posts and liked them. As for what I have been doing here, it is only commenting on other threads, and if you enjoyed the comments, that pleases me a lot.

If I had not been suffering from rheumatoid arthritis for the past three years, I would have tried my hand at episode analysis here, but I can't handle that and the responses to comments any more. As you might remember, some of my threads used to run to over 50 pages, and I used to feel as if I was on a treadmill that I couldn't stop! 😉

It feels good to be back here with you and a surprising number of my old, regular readers. Let us hope this show doesn't go downhill too soon!

As for the"turning the tables", I agree with you. I spoke too loosely; it was clearly not an active step on his part, but a passive consequence of his trying to get out of this female gherao.😉

^Aunty, sorry for not being able to quote. My phone has lag issues. Lol.
However, it's alright. It's been years. And I like that you are commenting on others' threads too. This Forum needs more active members who are willing and eager to analyze various aspects of the show.
Glad to have found you here.
And yes I think that episode was more of a passive consequence. Very aptly put. XD
