Well in my opinion NO , he wants Gauri not Kaya. He may unite Samar - Kaya to become good before Gauri and rest of the house.

no i dont think coz samar is ther to safe kaya from the trap of villain i feel he is snet by ippy really
i dont think marriage will take place but yes engagement will be held & when kaya will be putting ring to sha & that timeonly samar will comes & heart broken
