Hey Everyone 😊 ... I am so sorry I have not been able to update any parts just been like crazy super busy... now I don't remember exactly where I left off... but I am going to give a quick update and hopefully it will make sense 😃 ... once again plese forgive me for being such a late latif...hehe 😳
Here is a few key things that have happened so far... (hopefully I am remember correctly):
-- Gauri has been homeschooled and now joined college her first time out of the house.
-- Gauri is an orphan and her grandmother who she lives with is very strict with her.
-- Gauri meets Shiv and develops a sort of liking for him. Shiv thinks Gauri is cute and innocent but does not think any more about her.
-- Gauri is best friends with Ipshitta and good friends with Anupam.
-- Anupam is Shiv's friend.
-- Shashank is Maya (Gauri's cousin to be husband). Shashank is creepy and hits on Gauri.
-- Shiv and Shashank are seen almost getting into a fight.
-- Anupam discovers Maya is Gauri's cousin

"Anupam how do u know Maya?" Gauri asked Anupam again, a little frustrated that he was not answering her. Anupam turned around and looked Gauri directly in her eyes, he thought for a moment and then finally spoke. "She dated Shiv."
"What!?!" Gauri was stunned to hear. Shiv and Maya. Maya and Shiv. Gauri tried hard to wrap her head around the idea. She had so many things to ask Anupam. "Shiv and Maya were in love?" Gauri asked, wondering more to herself than asking Anupam.
"Stay out of it!" Suddenly Gauri found Shiv's index finger pointing at her face, as his eyes fumed with anger. He had no idea when he had showed up. Suddenly Gauri felt so afraid of Shiv, he was litterally breathing fire in anger. Without another word, Gauri picked her books and left the library, almost in tears. She had never had anyone get angry at her in the way Shiv just had.
Later that day as Gauri sat in class she couldn't get the idea of Maya, Shiv and Shashank out of her head. When had Maya and Shiv dated. Why did they break up? Why was Shiv fighting with Shashank? Why was Maya engaged to Shashank? Gauri thought and thought but seemed to have no answers. She decided she would talk to Maya as soon as she got home.
"Maya..." Gauri inquired, as she slowly pushed open the door to Maya's room.
"Do you have no manners!" Came an obviously embarrassed and blushing Maya as she jumped out of bed where she Shashank lay smiling. Gauri quickly shut her eyes and turned around.
"I am so sorry!" She pleaded.
"Get out! Get out of my room!" Maya yelled. "You..."
Gauri quickly shut Maya's door and ran to her room. She fell into bed and started to cry. She had no idea why she was crying all she knew that nothing seemed right for some reason. She was confused and didn't know what to think. Before Gauri knew it she had cried herself to sleep. A couple hours later, as Gauri woke up she rubbed her eyes to together to wake herself up when suddenly she saw someone shadwoing over her. She jumped up in bed and found Shashank standing over her.
"What do you want?" She whispered in fear.
He smiled back and sat on her bed making her shift with fear. "You know what I want..." He said in sly manner as he stroked her hair. Gauri felt helpless and wanted him out of her room. She could feel a lump grow in her throat and wanted to cry for help. With his every touch she shuddered "You are so much more beautiful than Maya you know that." Shashank continued.
"Please Shashank..." Gauri pleaded as a few tears escaped her eyes.
"Oh I have made you cry have I?" Shashank said in a mocking tone.
"Shashank?" Came the distant sound of Maya, who was looking for Shashank in the house.
With a creepy smile on his face Shashank got off Gauri's bed and left her room. Gauri felt relieved and took in deep breath, she then quickly climbed out of bed and locked her door. She leaned against the door and slid down. Maya was her cousin, her sister. Even if she had never treated Gauri like a sister, Gauri still loved her like one. She could not see Maya get married to such a creep. Maya did not deserve Shashank, she deserved someone better. Suddenly Shiv came to Gauri's mind. Maybe Gauri could find a way to get them back together.
But how? She first had to find out what happened between them? She would have to know the entire story. She knew Maya would not tell her anything but maybe Shiv? But before Shiv would tell her anything he would have to get to know her. She would have to get to know Shiv, become his friend...

I know it is short one... but it is a lot easier for me to give short and more frequent updates than... long and late updates... so hopefully you are all okay with that...
