i think gauri and her battle to get back her husband is half won. nikhila, the mother of shiv, is on gauris side. first i doubted she did this for shivs happiniess, but lately she proved that all she wanted was shivs happiness. so knowing fully well shivs happiness is gauri then gauri has half won.
