Sareeta, Just finished reading this SS.

1. I loved the way the story went btw the past and the present; 😃
2. Even though i am not a fan of sad endings, this story kind of made sense. I guess, i had feeling from the begining that this would have a sad ending. 😳

3.I liked the description of Gauri 'cos it closely resembles how i write. I write whenever and wherever my thoughts strike me 😳 (the last time i wrote, it was at the Frankfurt airport waiting for my connecting flight! 😃 )

4. I am going to read the rest of your stuff and leave my comments.I am really impressed. I love the way you pen down places and emotions. 😳

Zindagi aur maut... ek sikke ke doh atoot pehloo... phir bhi kuch log zindagi ke doosre hisse se khabra te hain... darte hain... Lekin kuch musafir maut mein bhi... zindagi ki umeed chod jaate hain...

Sareeta Di, how in the world do you do this? You simply blow me away... The title was very apt; and it fit very well with the general idea. I admit, I was confused sometimes by the time relapses, but it all made sense in the end. I have to ask, what age are they in your mind as you pen this masterpiece? Personally, I felt them undergo childhood, teens, mid-age and old age. The calm with which you conveyed the chaos in Shiv's heart, was spellbounding. The ending was so... serene? It was tranquilizing... And to be honest, I was not sad at all. It was as though that is where it began... forever... Your emphasis on particular words left me lingering on them as well. In all, you are so talented. May bhagghu always keep his hand over you...

Btw, why does the character of Gauri seem so familiar? From how I know u... I read shades of u in her characterization~

Thanks for the beautiful read.

Cheers,

dc

Hey dammit,

I don't believe this!! I thought the first book was going to be mine 😡 ~ I had the first dibs on it babez.. Me still getting it first *hehehe*. Challenging queenie di there.. Let's see who gets the first one 😉 ~

Alritey. About the story... Perceptions differ from person to person. As for me, I enjoyed it immensely and I kept relating it at places to one of my favorite movies, A Walk to Remember. Your story is quite different but the ending.. The ending reminded me of Landon and Jamie's story there.. How Jamie passed away quietly and in peace, yet left a part of herself in Landon. Both stories have one thing in common in my opinion, and that is, true love never dies.. I loved how u ended the story on a quote.. A Walk to Remember ended with the song "Cry" as Landon watched the sun disappear below the horizon whilst he remembered Jamie..

"I'll always remember,
It was late afternoon..
It lasted forever..
But ended so soon.."

Gauri's character, her nickname of birdie, her habit of scribbling things and converting her thoughts into writings at any given instant and point of time was all you, Sareeta! I have not met you but from our interactions, I know that you've got that restless soul of a creative person inside you that makes you travel around the globe from time to time. So u're like a bird in that way and very much like Gauri of this story. I am glad that u act so as this is how we get to read such terrific thoughts of yours. So do continue to feel restless and creative and I hope the publication process goes by smoothly and that u achieve even greater success and happiness out of it than you could ever imagine 😉 ~

Anyhow, a terrific read! And only u my dear could've written it so beautifully. God bless!

All my best wishes,
Sana~ 😳

I havent seen the movie ... and the story was more out of real incidents... what I penned...

I am glad that u act so as this is how we get to read such terrific thoughts of yours. Aww, thanks... will sure do So do continue to feel restless and creative and I hope the publication process goes by smoothly and that u achieve even greater success and happiness out of it than you could ever imagine 😉 ~ Thank you sooooooo much! I never intended to publish or write for others... but for my own satisfaction of being able to express... and if ppl now enjoy that , what more could one ask for... BHaggu has been kind... very kind!

Anyhow, a terrific read! And only u my dear could've written it so beautifully. God bless! Thanks again!

All my best wishes,
