Follow ur own advice, man, and stop staring at that closed door!

I'm referring to that very 'profound' observation he made to Gauri...Why we don't see a new door that has opened in our lives is coz we're still looking at the one that closed on us.

So, Shiv should take his own advice and stop ruminating over what might have been with Ips, dish that ugly portait of hers and walk through that other open door and be completely happy with his wife.

I know that's too much to ask...! Also, it's silly of me to wonder why Shiv hides that life-sized portrait of Ips in the cupboard in that guilty fashion. It's rather pointless, isn't it, especially when you and I and all the world know that it's Gauri who puts away his clothes in that very same cupboard everyday. She has to be blind to miss that piece of so called art...!!

i think gauri must show the kids the potrait so that they will make a mess of it so shiv will throw it .
or
shiv kids must throw it in some gutter thinking their father will become insane if he continues to talk to the potrait for hours and hours.
