Achint's double treat

Achint Kaur is on a high. The actress is returning to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi this month to torment the Virani parivar again.

Achint, who plays Mandira on the show, is the undisclosed woman who has been threatening Tulsi (Smriti Irani) over the phone for the past few days. Kaur will also be seen in Smriti's show Viruddh (Sony), this time in a positive avatar.

Acting ain't tough

Though Smriti's character is at loggerheads with Achint's in Kyunki, it seems Smriti respects Achint's acting capabilities. Irani personally called Achint to say she had a role for her in Viruddh.

Says Achint, "I heard the role and loved it. I play a bold, alcoholic woman who has problems in her life. I know many such people, so it wont be difficult getting into the skin of my character."

On the other hand, Achint says she doesn't have to prepare much for Kyunki too. "I have done many episodes as Mandira, so I cannot forget how to play her. I am very happy to be back in Kyunki."

Achint last shot for Kyunki six months ago, when she was sent to prison for kidnapping Gomzi (played by Sumeet Sachdev).

Currently, Achint is doing Ekta Kapoor's Karam Apna Apna on Star Plus
