it's the first day of college and Gauri is sitting alone with a book in her hands. she feels a tap on her shoulder and turns to see her best friend anupam. she continues reading and anupam sits down..

anupam takes gauri to a group of ppl. gauri feels uncomfortable.

g(whispers to anupam)-tum mujhe kahan le aye?
a(whispers back)-dont worry.. theyre my friends...

a-this is gauri and gauri this is vivan, kaya, aaliyah, kripa, and prithvi.

g(shy but manages a smile)-hi

soon its time to go in... gauri goes to her first class and is the only one there. soon everyone starts coming. no one sits by gauri. gauri doesnt mind. the teacher takes atendence. when she calls shiv. a muscular guy walks in panting.

s-im sry maam... my dad.. he had to go to the hospital adn he wanted to talk to me... he told me that if he dies to keep my family safe. (lying)
teacher(crying)-awww.. itz ok shiv.. your excused... go have a seat.
s-yes maam

shiv grins and looks around and sees a seat next to a gauri (he doesnt know her though). he sits there.
