poor guy probably doesn't realise what he's feeliing is actually 'love' - to be reciprocated with a living breathing entity - our gauri- not just the reminents of an illusion of the girl in the portrait, to which he clings as a mechanism to avoid close encounters from the opposite sex (coz of his karam).

but in reality one in love does weird things - a fight of head n heart - who wins?...... who can say?

maybe the whole thing hasn't caught up to him... you can know someone ur whole life ...n wake up one morning n feel differently towards them... it jus creeps up on u when ur least expecting it...ur feelings change...love blossoms.

if it has encrouched on his heart, maybe he's scared that if he 'falls' for gauri, loses his heart, n she dies....how will he cope? it's a self preservation method for keeping gauri at arms length.

i think in finality despite of fates intention, love conquers all. love maybe be able to override their karam.

He's crying coz he cares... and somewhere subconsciously, he's in love with her, and now her life is in danger because of him... He may not realize it at this point, but from the start there was something more between them, that left them just staring at each other...

For now he's naming it friendship, and the tears are for the friend he has betrayed, whose life he has placed in danger, his tears are for someone whose happiness he now places before everything else, whose life he values beyond everything else...

oh dear i was crying when i saw gauri leaving the house. i dun trust him when he said he did this for their friendship.

they never say a goodbye to each other. how sad 😭 .

He was crying because he cares soo much for Gauri that he can't forgive himself for what he did to her, he feels it is because of him the life of the person her cares for so much was in danger. Even though I know that won't be it and he and she will fall in deeper love for each other and will remain a couple for a long life!!! Some miracle or truth will save them both, I know it!!!!!

i completely agree. shiv is good at heart and once he realized the good in gauri, he started feeling rlly bad for doing this to her, he hated himself for hurting her...
i rlly hope he didn't do this for ippy, but there are high chances that he did, which is just rlly rlly sad. 😭

i think becoz he cares for gauri

at the beginning he did not believe these kundali stuff
so it didnt matter to him to whom he was getting married to
but nw that he likes gauri he dnt want her to suffer as he knws that she is to die cos of him 😕 😕 😕

I think he cried as he finally realised tht wht he did was wrong and he knows tht he has develop some sort of feeling for her beyond friendship and he cant see her go as when she left the room he didnt turn around to see her go...also before gauri left the house he felt a happy gauri next to him showing he has gotten attached to gauri

I dont get what's in his head and especially heart.Why's he doing this?He cares alot for Gauri thats why or for Ipshita?And if its for Ipshita then.. 😭 But seriously,I dont understand Shiv sometimes..
