The Moment

Bound by compulsion,
He struggles to breakfree..
Having surrendered , miffed he remains with self...
Of his forgone freedom, she reminded him...
Yet , unaware , he sought her ,
In all that he knew , believed and felt...
His anger, frustration, companionship, togetherness...
Clouded by jarring disharmony of cucooned emotions...
He fails to hear the unsung melody in her silence...
Concious mind, overpowering, he fails to see beyond his own...
Strings of heart , strung by the unchained melody..
Set him in a trance...momentarily...
For sets him free, it does, the unsung melody...
Shut out , the voices of the inner being ,
the unsung melody, he does..
As he stands , on the verge of freedom he seeks...
Yet, unwilling , to let go.. he watches...
The undeniable truth , that her eyes speak....
Deafening silence giving way ...
To the ever soothing unsung melody...
Mesmerized , he stands,
Her eyes , reflecting his true self...
Into those unquestioning eyes ...
He stares... aware of the moment..
For Moment of truth ... it is ...Now...
