Ma'am, may I go on my honeymoon?

Yesterday, we had actors asking Ekta for Diwali leave. Today, Iqbal Khan asks for a longer holiday. Will he get it?

Now that Iqbal Khan is working in just one soap, one would think he has more time to spend with his fiance Sneha.

"No such luck!" Iqbal says, enjoying the enforced workaholicism. "In fact, I'm putting in more hours of work now than earlier. That's because a brand new serial need careful nurturing. Either you get the audiences hooked in the first few months, or you don't…as simple as that. Fortunately Karam Apna Apna is developing well. It's a new experience. My only dilemma is how do I get away in January for a month to marry and spend time with Sneha? I'm sure Ekta will let me go. She has said we'll build a bank of episodes for the time I'll be away," he says.

A bank of episodes for a month sounds impractical. A more likely solution is that Ekta's team of inventive writers will pack off the hero of Karam… for a month. Iqbal says, "Maybe. All I know is that I won't be able to go back on my commitment of taking a month off with Sneha."

Iqbal's wedding date in January 2007 will be fixed after November 5. He says, "That's when my parents are coming to Mumbai. I can hardly wait. I must be the only man in the world who's so eager to get married. Usually, it's the girls who are dying to tie the man down. In my case, I'm far more eager."

As for the naysayers and crank-callers who've been warning Iqbal against marrying Sneha, he says, "Let them try. The more they dissuade me the more I get convinced. I've stopped worrying about obsessive fans. Nothing can tear Sneha and me apart. She has been with me through my worst days. She will be with me for the rest of my life," he says.

but where will he go for honeymoon? is he allowed outside india?? cuz that whole visa issue taht was happening....he didnt come to toronto 😭

but itz in january...there's about 3 months left...hopefully it will all be cleared up by then...

let him get married yaar! seems like he is so Desperate to get married, he is always saying that no one can Separate him and sneha, i just don't get it, who cares, hurry up and get married! 😆

Let's not get negative on this, its just an article guys! Maybe he is really excited about it, that's all. I know what this means to him.
