Wasn't that 2nd HR, after making him "aisa aadmi chota hota hai" for the first one, drastic and poor poor writing?! The first one itself was a stretch for the character.
It is their habit to establish something and then kick that with the back foot. He was going all "jaan de dunga" last week and walking on fire and they make him do... THIS? And she is FINE with it??

The writing makes him someone who cannot be trusted... not even with words he speaks to himself. I am sure that was not the intent when the show had started but some pea-brained person is writing this who should not be in this field at all!

So moral is yes, he can't be trusted and I cannot console you!

have u all seen that when meera fall from stairs she keeps her hand on her mouth just because Vivaan can't hear her shout of pain ...how much pain was in that scene...

They were all standing around like fools gaping at what was happening! Said uncle waited peacefully until ML took his decision and all marriage rituals were done! AFTER THAT he had a line or two just for formality.😡 Basically they waited around until "kuch accha ho raha hai toh hone do" and there was no gratitude for saving her from goon even!

BUT WHAT IS THE POINT? the writers have erased every good ML has done, every time he was misunderstood, every thing he stood for... so that nothing matters anymore!

You know when the Dhingras diss him I just wanna go all mamma bear, on them, even though after today, I actually dont know who this vivaan kapoor is.

I just want to go like you good for nothing fools, all you have done is stood and watched the tamasha, he had to come in and save 'your' daughter and forget gratitude all you insensitive pricks can do is blame him.

This beti ki izzat karna talk was sounding so rich coming from Mr. Dhingra, I wanted to throw something at my TV.

She could have died, could have been paralyzed and god knows what else could have happened. But they trivialized that as well.
And in which holy grail does it say that this is the way to become a good wife ? When she cant empathize with her husband at the least, will putting up with abuse make her an 'understanding' wife.
